Hayes is a stunning 1-year-old pup with a heart as big as his smile! Found as a stray, this handsome boy is still very much a puppy at heart. He's playful, goofy, and always ready for fun. Hayes loves toys and is happy to share them with his friends. He's still working on his leash manners, but his eagerness to learn and lovable personality make him a joy to spend time with. Story
Becca came to the shelter as a stray, so everything we know about her, we've learned since she arrived. We estimate she's about 3 years old, gave her a name, and watched her slowly begin to trust the people caring for her. Once Becca settles in, her sweet personality shines through. She forms strong bonds with the staff and volunteers who spend time with her, and it's clear she just wants love and companionship. When Becca was spayed, our veterinary team discovered and removed a large ovarian tumor. The findings strongly suggest cancer, and unfortunately, there is little we can do for her while she's in the shelter. Right now, our priority isn't treatment—it's giving Becca the chance to spend whatever time she has left in a home where she can be loved. Becca would do best as the only pet, as she has not done well with other dogs in the shelter environment. She urgently needs a rescue or adopter willing to open their heart to a dog who deserves so much more than a kennel. We don't know how much time Becca has, but we do know she deserves to spend it surrounded by kindness, comfort, and love.

Story
Meet Ghost 👻 Estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing 55 pounds, Ghost came to us as a stray and is now hoping his next stop is a forever home. This handsome guy has shown himself to be affectionate, sweet, and eager to connect with people once he feels comfortable. He enjoys attention, walks nicely on a leash, and is a calm companion to spend time with. Ghost does have some sensitivity around his back end and prefers not to be touched there, so he’ll need a home that can respect his boundaries and help him continue building trust at his own pace. Despite that, he’s been a gentle and loving boy who clearly wants companionship and kindness. If you’re looking for a loyal dog with a sweet soul and a quiet charm, Ghost may be the perfect match for you. 🖤 2960 Shafto Rd, Tinton Falls, NJ ID #46039 Application link in bio!

Story
Meet Raffaele ✨ Raffaele’s story began with heartbreak after he was found abandoned in a hotel room when his family checked out and left him behind. Despite that, this handsome 4-year-old boy continues to greet the world with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a whole lot of personality. At around 55 pounds, Raffaele is an active, social dog who loves being near people and exploring his surroundings. In new environments, he can become easily overstimulated and anxious, especially with unfamiliar handling, but it’s clear underneath it all is a dog who genuinely wants connection and attention. Raf is playful, excitable, and eager to interact, sometimes getting a little too enthusiastic when meeting new people. He would benefit from an adopter who understands energetic dogs and can help him continue learning appropriate boundaries while giving him time to settle in and decompress outside the shelter environment. He’s treat motivated, smart, and already knows some basic commands, making him a great candidate for continued training and bonding. Raffaele is looking for someone willing to see past the stress of shelter life and give him the stability and patience he deserves. After being left behind once, we’d love to see Raf finally find a home that’s forever.

Story
Minnie misses having a couch. 🥺 After spending her whole life in a home, this 5-year-old girl suddenly found herself at the shelter. While we're doing our best to make her comfortable, it's just not the same. At 70 pounds, Minnie could benefit from a few regular walks, but let's be honest—her dream job is professional couch potato. 🛋️ She's not asking for much. A soft bed. A comfy couch. A family to love. Maybe a few snacks. Minnie has already proven she knows how to be a house dog. Now she just needs someone willing to give her a second chance at home. Come meet Minnie today in Tinton Falls, NJ ❤️🐾 ID #119067
