Story
Meet Tyler 2–3 years old | 15 lbs | Arriving in Morristown, NJ on December 28th Tyler is a quiet, gentle pup who has already come a long way — and now he's ready to take the next step toward the loving home he deserves. He was rescued by The Sato Project from a heartbreaking hoarding case in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where he lived in a small home with more than 30 other dogs. After such a tough beginning, Tyler is now healthy and preparing to fly to Morristown, NJ, where he hopes a kind, patient family will be waiting to welcome him. Tyler is shy and timid, especially in new situations, but there’s a softness in him that shines through. With time, consistency, and gentle love, he will begin to trust and show his true personality — a quiet companion who just wants to feel safe. He would do best in a calm, understanding home, possibly with another gentle dog to help guide him. He doesn't need much — just someone who will give him space, patience, and the love he's never truly known. If you're the kind of person who finds beauty in helping a shy dog feel brave, Tyler may be your perfect match. To Adopt: Fill out an application at thesatoproject.org/applicationform. Questions? Story
Meet Adrian! Adrian’s story is one of resilience, hope, and a second chance he truly deserves. He was rescued by The Sato Project from a horrific hoarding case in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where he lived crammed inside a home with more than 30 other dogs. Despite everything he endured, Adrian has shown incredible strength and a gentle spirit. Now healthy, safe, and thriving, Adrian is ready for his new beginning. He is estimated to be 2–3 years old and weighs 20 lbs — the perfect compact companion. This sweet boy will be flying to Morristown, NJ on December 28th to meet his future family and start his new life. Because of his past, Adrian will need a loving, patient, and understanding home — one that will give him time, kindness, and reassurance as he adjusts to a world that is finally safe. In return, he has so much love to give and is eager to bond with the humans who show him compassion. If you’re looking to make a real difference in a dog’s life and welcome a gentle soul into your home, Adrian is ready for his happily ever after. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This handsome guy is Trey! Trey is a Pittie mix, about 5 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. Trey’s mom is facing some significant challenges in her life right now and needs to find a new home for Trey. She does not want to surrender him to our shelter- so we are hoping to find him a new home quickly.  Trey is a fantastic dog. Super sweet and friendly! Loves all his mom’s friends and neighbors and is good with children. He’s housebroken and extremely well behaved in the home. His mom describes him as a cuddle bug and “the best dog ever”.  He loves to be around people and would love a home where someone is home a majority of the time. Trey also loves to play and would truly enjoy a home with a fenced yard. Trey’s only request is to be the only dog in the home. Trey is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. If you’d like to meet this sweet boy, please fill out an application on our website at Rescueridge.com. If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will reach out to you to schedule a meet.    Trey is located in Monmouth County, NJVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 10, 2026, 9:30 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This handsome guy is Dante. He is a young husky/shepherd mix (born June 2024), and weighs about 50 pounds. Dante is very smart, playful and full of personality - but we are not going to sugar coat it- he’s a handful! He is friendly, has had obedience training, loves to work for treats and knows plenty of commands- but will pick and choose who he will listen to and when he will listen.  A dog like Dante is frustrated in a kennel environment. We cannot meet his mental or physical needs. He needs a home- someone with the skill, time and patience to work with him. We are looking for a special adopter- the one who can see his potential and wants to help a dog in need.  A potential adopter for Dante must be an experienced dog handler, who can establish and maintain leadership from the start. He will challenge his handler- so this is an absolute must! A fully fenced in yard is required. We believe he would do best in a home with one or two adults. He has the potential to live with another dog. (But of course a meet is a must).   Dante has bonded with some of our volunteers, and can be very affectionate. We believe he has the potential to be a great companion- but only in the right hands. Please do not apply for Dante if you do not meet his requirements.  If you are that special someone we are looking for and enjoy working with challenging dogs- please apply on our website at rescueridge.com. Dante needs a chance at a life outside of a kennel! Dante is located in Monmouth County, NJ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 20, 2026, 10:57 am
