Story
Due to allergy in our 2-year-old child, we are heartbreakingly seeking a new home for our 8-year-old husky named Whiskey. This decision has been incredibly difficult, as he has been a beloved member of our family for over 7 years, and we are committed to finding him a safe, loving, and permanent home. He is: - Leash trained - Housebroken - Up to date on vaccinations - Microchipped - Very calm, well-mannered, and easygoing He has a gentle, relaxed personality and is happiest simply lying next to you or being near his person. He does not require constant activity and thrives in a peaceful environment. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, or with another friendly pet for companionship, as he can become anxious if left alone for long periods otherwise he is affectionate, loyal, and an excellent companion! Our goal is to place him in a responsible, patient, and loving forever home where he can continue to

Story
Bishop is a 3-year-old, black American Staffordshire Terrier who has been at the shelter for only a short time and is already winning over the volunteers with his charm. He’s currently on the thin side, so he’s enjoying three meals a day to help him put on some much-needed weight — and fortunately, this boy is not a picky eater.Bishop absolutely loves being around people and soaks up affection like it’s his favorite treat. One of his most endearing features? His sweet little webbed paws! We’re excited to find out if this means he’s a fan of water and swimming. Fingers crossed for a stretch of unseasonably warm weather so we can put his paw paddles to the test.As we learn more about Bishop and his personality, we’ll be sure to share every new detail about this lovable guy.If you are interested in meeting Bishop, please complete an Interest Form. An adoption counselor will contact you to schedule an appointment.December 29, 2025, 1:44 pm

Story
Meet Jazzy!Jazzy is a 2-year-old, 40-pound brindle American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This sweet girl absolutely loves people and soaks up every bit of attention she can get. It doesn’t take long for her to make friends. She’s already well on her way to becoming a volunteer fave.True to her name, Jazzy is energetic, playful and she has an energetic spark when she first gets going. She has a special love for toys, especially durable rubber ones, which are her clear preference over plushies. As she settles into the routine of daily walks and playful activity, we expect her to settle comfortably into a balanced, happy rhythm.Jazzy already knows how to sit and takes treats gently, which makes training new commands a rewarding experience. She’s hoping 2026 will be her year for finding her forever family (or person). If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who brings enthusiasm, sweetness, and a lot of love to the table, Jazzy may be the perfect match for you. To meet Jazzy, please complete an Interest Form and an adoption counselor will contact you to schedule an appointment.January 11, 2026, 2:51 pm

Story
Meet Nicky — the happiest wiggle in the shelterNicky is a black and white American Staffordshire Terrier mix who, at just under 2 years old, still carries all the joyful energy of a puppy. This cheerful boy is pure sunshine: wiggly, playful, and always ready to greet you with a big smile and a full body tail wag. He’s working on getting to a healthy weight, and we’re helping him fill out with nutritious meals and lots of care. As he gains strength, his personality shines even brighter. Nicky loves people and thrives on attention, affection, and any chance to be part of the fun.Like many young dogs, he’s still learning the basics — including his commands and how to walk politely on a leash — but his eagerness and happy spirit make him a wonderful student. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he’ll pick things up quickly.Nicky is looking for a home that can match his enthusiasm and help guide him into adulthood. If you’re hoping for a playful companion who will bring joy, laughter, and plenty of wiggles into your life, please complete an Interest Form. An adoption counselor will contact you to schedule a meeting with Nicky.January 6, 2026, 10:37 am
