Story
Hi my name is Ace. I was adopted from the aspca in December . I am fully vaccinated and neutered . I am great with kids and dogs . I am a very happy dog. I would love to keep him I love him but we are not home enough he needs more training when it comes to the potty but knows how to go with a leash . He goes outside but inside still . I am in the middle of a divorce and my work and has become more and I feel terrible leaving him home all day alone . He would love a loving family who could spend more time with him .

Story
Coral was one in litter of 5. Mom was a small wire haired terrier looking Gal and Dad is believed to have some min pin or chi. Whatever they are, they were all just beyond darling with adorable personalities. Her cute little underbite goes famously with her cute little sass.  Microchipped, spayed and up to date on vaccines, Coral is spunky, playful, and affectionate.  She has done so well in foster care and is an absolute gem, but she is going to need a patient person(s) to help her transition.  Coral can be a "runner" when she is scared an unfamiliar.  It took about 2 weeks in her foster home for her to understand she was safe but until then she bolted out of her crate and would bolt out of a door if given the opportunity.  So she needs someone who will understand her, help her feel comfortable and be very cautious until she settles in to her new home.  She definitely needs a fenced yard to run, she has the longest legs and loves to do her zoomies to get her energy out.  Because she can be jumpy when she gets excited, we recommend no small children.  We would require more than one meet and greet so that Coral gets a feel for her new people prior to adoption and are looking for a local adopter so that we can help Coral transition.  Interested in adopting me?  To fill out an application visit 3 Hearts 4 PawsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 14, 2024, 10:09 pm

Story
Does your dog need a dog?!  Feel guilty about your dog being home all day alone?! Lucy maybe just what your dog needs! Lucy is a sweet shy girl. She prefers a quiet home & will warm up rather quickly once she trusts you.  She does great with other dogs and is fine with cats. Lucy has mastered the art of sleeping quietly in her crate at night but is trust worthy out of  her crate as well. Except socks, she loves to eat socks. She is house trained but will also use wee wee pads if preferred.  Lucy is an absolute thorn in my side! She will come sit with you to be pet and will gently give you a little kiss. She is also will take a treat so sweetly out of your hand.  Then there is her quirky side. We honestly don't know what happened to this girl but she will retreat to her crate if anyone stands or walks near her.  She requires a fenced yard as, try as I may, this girl will not walk on a leash. Again, if you stand or walk she runs to her safe place.  I wouldn't say Lucy is a couch potato but she is now a super active puppy either. Definitely not you typical Jack Russell!  Lucy will need a person or people with a bit of extra patience! All the hard work is done but quirky is and understatement when describing Lucy!  Interested in adopting me?  To fill out an application visit 3 Hearts 4 Paws.  Please note: we generally do not adopt out of state unless it is within 1-2 hours of us.  Currently due to COVID we are unable to accommodate out of state adoptions.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 14, 2024, 10:09 pm

Story
Henry came to us in June. He's such a smart guy. Crate trained, house trained, knows basic commands. Henry's an agile guy and would do best with a fenced yard. He can be a little skittish with loud noises. He's good with people with proper introductions. Henry needs a bit to know he can trust you, then he's the most loyal buddy you'll find. Henry is dog selective. He would do best as an only dog or with a calm dog. Henry is up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Story
This gorgeous girl is a little shy and will need slow introductions at first and patience. Once she warms up she is very loving and her favorite thing to do is snuggle up close. New situations and places make her nervous so she would do best in a quiet home without much traffic and no small children. I think she would prefer a home body or a mellow couple with dog experience. She is about 2-3 yrs old so she is still very playful and loves running in the fenced in yard. She would do best with a well adjusted calm medium/large k9 friend or would be fine as an only dog too. No cats and no farm animals as she does have a high prey drive. She is about 40 pounds, house trained, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped and spayed.
