She would make a great addition to any family. She was surrendered by her family. Cher was an indoor dog - she has good manners and a calm demeanor. She is up to date with her vaccines, HW- and spayed. Her fur is thick and longer - more like a retriever but she doesn't shed a great deal. Cher's energy level is low-medium; she loves to go for walks in the woods and play ball in the yard. She has been in playgroups in the past. She has also had professional training in the past and does well on leash walks. Cher gets along with puppies and has been fostered in a home with other dogs (males and females) with no issues. Sadly, after being surrendered to the shelter as a puppy almost a year ago along with her brother she is experiencing high anxiety living in a stressful environment and starting to decline. Thea not only lost the only family she knew but also her brother who has since been adopted. She is simply too smart and too active for a life behind bars and quietly losing hope. She craves love and safety but instead she is locked up in the kennel for months. Our rescue would like to pull Thea into our care but we can't do so until we find a committed foster home. Thea's Personality: High energy, incredibly smart, resilient, and ready to learn. The loud, hectic world around him is his biggest hurdle right now. He craves love and wants to feel safe and connect with people but due to the chaotic shelter environment he is too scared to show his loving side. He has been at the shelter for months being overlooked and will completely shutdown if he is not taken out of that environment soon. Our rescue want to pull sweet Oreo into our care but can't do so until we find a committed foster. The Personality: Fearful and shy, Oreo is looking for someone to show him the world isn't so scary. The Challenge: He is currently fearful of other dogs and hasn't had the chance to learn leash skills yet.
