She was surrendered by her family in 2024, she was an indoor dog - she has good manners and a calm demeanor. She is up to date with her vaccines, HW- and spayed. Her fur is thick and longer - more like a retriever but she doesn't shed a great deal. Cher's energy level is low-medium; she loves to go for walks in the woods and play ball in the yard. She has been in playgroups in the past. She appears to have some leash training. Cher gets along with puppies; she would do well in a home with another female dog who is calm or would thrive as an only fur baby. Cocoa Puffs is a 6 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd. She’s a pandemic puppy and is not socialized around cats, dogs and children. She is a little bit of “Nervous Nelly” when she’s around new people or unfamiliar environment. Cocoa Puffs has resource guarding issues. If she thinks you are trying to take something away from her, she will try to bite you. This does not happen on a daily basis, but it can be unpredictable. The best method while dealing with resource guarding is to give Cocoa Puffs something more of a high value treat to trade off whatever item she thinks she needs to guard. This has worked with me. More details will be provided upon contact. Cocoa Puffs is very smart. She knows the name of all her toys. She is good at doing tricks, like sit pretty, roll over, crawl, spin right/left, go through legs, etc. Of course more training can be done :) no shame in that Cocoa Puffs loves to cuddle on her own terms. She bites onBarkBox bones and eats Farmer’s Dog diet

Darla is a very friendly girl, good with kids and other dogs. She is a beautiful energetic girl that loves to play, play play. She is house trained, knows many commands, walks well on a leash, and has been to one-on-one training classes with an experienced trainer. Darla will be 7 months old on Jan 13, 2026. Because of recent family medical issues, it is very difficult for us to give Darla the attention she deserves. We are hoping she finds a home with a loving family and space for her to explore and grow. The ideal home for Darla would have an open space to play/run (good sized fenced backyard) and possibly other dog(s) for companionship. As mentioned before, she loves her people, the more the merrier.
