Story
Meet Queso! Questo is a playful 3-month-old puppy weighing 8 pounds. Like all pups his age, he’s curious, friendly, and full of joy! He was rescued with his mom and siblings from an over crowded house. His mom is Brie and she weighs about 10 lbs. She tested negative for Chagas. He's safe now and ready for a forever home! .

Queso loves to explore, play with toys, and snuggle in your arms. In true terrier fashion, he’s clever and eager to learn. He’d thrive in a home where he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. This puppy is under 16 weeks of age as of 1/6/2025. He is too young for Heartworm or Chagas testing. Because this puppy is from the state of Texas…an area endemic for Chagas disease…we strongly recommend that they be tested once they reach at least 16 weeks of age. Please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease and the importance of early detection. If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt

Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Story
Elton — A Playful Little Comeback Kid Elton was rescued from the Weslaco shelter alongside his mom and his dad, Bowie. When they arrived, all three were struggling with mange, but with care, love, and treatment, they’re well on their way back to their beautiful, fluffy selves. Elton is a bright, happy puppy with a loving heart and a playful spirit. He’s the kind of little guy who wants to be part of everything — exploring, cuddling, learning, and soaking up attention. Like most young pups, he would benefit from a basic puppy obedience class, which will help him grow into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be. This sweet boy has already overcome so much, and now he’s ready for a forever family who will cheer him on as he continues to thrive. Elton is all love, all joy, and all heart. Elton is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Petersburg, FL on February 21st. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost.

Story
Hello. Sundi joined our family as a baby dog from some Quakers in Pennsylvania that raise Bernedoodles. He's kind, super smart, and is fully house trained. He's going on 4 years old. Loves to walk, loves to play outside, and loves to be petted anywhere by his family. Unfortunately new jobs have made it such that we cannot give him the time and attention he truly deserves. He will be an absolutely WONDERFUL dog for his new family.
