Story
Meet Lorenzo 💙 Lorenzo is a beautiful, purebred American Bully who just turned 5 years old in February. He has the sweetest soul and the calmest personality—you’ll often find him lounging рядом with you, perfectly content just being close. He absolutely loves to cuddle and is happiest when he’s curled up watching TV with his favorite person. Lorenzo is incredibly affectionate and thrives on human attention. He’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond with his person and just wants to be by your side as much as possible. His gentle, loving nature makes him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. He does have some skin allergies that require a bit of extra care. Lorenzo takes a daily antihistamine and receives monthly injections to keep him comfortable. He’s also allergic to poultry, so his diet needs to be monitored carefully by checking ingredient labels. With the right routine, he does very well. Making the decision to rehome Lorenzo has not been easy.

Story
Meet Amira: A gentle soul ready to bloom.Amira's story began alongside her siblings on the streets of Puerto Rico, where survival meant staying close and staying cautious. Life began with much uncertainty, but even in those early days, Amira carried a softness about her - a quiet, watchful sweetness that makes you lean in a little closer.Like her sister, Amira is shy when first meeting new people or exploring new spaces. She takes her time. She studies. She listens. But behind those thoughtful eyes is a curious puppy who WANTS to be brave. You can see it in the way she lingers instead of retreating, in the way her tail gives small, hopeful sways.Amira isn't looking for the loudest home or the busiest, most active one. She's looking for patience and understanding. With consistency and love, she will grow into the secure, devoted companion she is capable of becoming. Amira is ready for a family that sees her not for the hesitation she carries now, but for the extraordinary dog she is becoming. If you believe in nurturing potential and celebrating small victories, Amira is ready to start her next chapter with you.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. Story
Meet Thor - God of Good Walks and Great Big Smiles.Thor is a happy, social guy who believes life is better when shared with his favorite people. He came to the shelter through no fault of his own and he's ready to bring his big heart and bigger smile into a new forever home. This handsome boy enjoys playing with toys in the yard - but don't be surprised if he trots right back over for a quick pet or a few kind words. Praise is his love language. On leash, Thor truly shines: he walks confidently and calmly and is very good at checking in with his handler as if to say "You still good? Just making sure." That adorable face gets even cuter when he does.Thor would thrive in a family looking for a medium-sized, social companion who's equally happy adventuring or soaking up affection. He's great with children and other dogs, but cats are kind of weird and he's not sure what to make of them.If you're looking for a loving, playful, people-oriented dog who will happily walk by your side and steal your heart along the way - Thor is ready to be your hero.Thor spent the afternoon out with a volunteer family and here's what they had to say: "Thor was a perfect gentleman. So much fun and so playful, curious andfriendly. I can't wait to see him find his family!"If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. Story
***Adoption fee WAIVED***You don't need to be Jon Snow to adopt this Ghost - I promise, no Night's Watch oath required! I'm a striking Siberian Husky with a love for the great outdoors and plenty of energy to spare. Whether we're going for a walk, playing in the yard, or just hanging out together, I enjoy spending time with my people. That said, I do have an independent streak-classic Husky behavior, of course! Sometimes I like to do my own thing, but don't worry, I'll always circle back to check in on my favorite humans.I'm looking for an active home that understands my adventurous spirit and appreciates a dog with both brains and personality. I'd love a family that will keep me engaged, take me on outdoor adventures, and respect my occasional need for "me time." If you're looking for a fun-loving, intelligent, and slightly mysterious best friend, then I just might be the Ghost you've been searching for!Ghost is great with people and kids. A rock star! We take him to group events and he charms everyone he meets! He is best as your only pet. Housetrained and Oh, so handsome!**This pet is eligible for the Pets for Patriots program**Complete the online adoption application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. Story
Meet Mr. Toad - not actually a toad, but an absolutely legendary dog. This boxer is 100% wiggle, 0% chill. That's not true; he naps pretty hard when he's done running around. But he doesn't walk into a room - he ARRIVES, full body wags, eyes sparkling, jowls and tongue getting stuck and knotted up like well-hydrated bread dough, ready to greet you like you just returned from war. He doesn't perceive personal space or boundaries so buckle up.Mr. Toad operates under his own personal 3 Tenets of Boxer Charm:1. Every human is my best friend.2. Every best friend must pet me immediately.3. Butt scratches are not optional.Failure to comply with these rules will result in dramatic emotional damage (to him, obviously) followed by an aggressive campaign of wiggling, nudging, and general goofiness until you correct your mistake. He is highly motivated by toys, food, attention, the wind; it truly depends on the day, time and maybe even the phase of the moon. Mr. Toad is not for the faint of heart. He is for someone who wants a live-in stand up comedian, a professional goofball, and a certified joy machine who will turn your home into a daily celebration of nonsense and love. If you're ready to laugh constantly, play often, and commit to a lifetime of enthusiastic wiggles, Mr. Toad is ready to be your new best friend (whether you agreed to it or not.)If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214. Primary Color: Brindle Weight: 42 Age: 4yrs 8mths 4wks
