Meet Lucky! Lucky is a male husky who was pulled by Husky House from a kill shelter when he was on the euthanasia list. Lucky is an energetic dog who loves to play! He does have some resource guarding tendencies with food and treats, so he would do best in an adult only home who can help him work on this. Lucky has been reported to do well with dogs and will be introduced to dogs at Husky House once he is more settled in and relaxed. These two senior pups came to Husky House when their elderly owner unfortunately passed away. Bailey and Charlie are sweet, affectionate dogs who love to be pet, held, and sit in your lap. Meet Quincy! Quincy is a male husky who was found as a stray in Staten Island. His previous owners were found and did not want him back, and it appears they threw him out in the street as they posted they could no longer keep him the day before. Quincy is a loving, energetic husky who loves people and playing with other dogs his size. Quincy becomes anxious at the shelter or when crated, and injured himself due to the stress at the city shelter, which is why he was pulled by Husky House. Meet Ruby! Ruby is a petite husky (she weighs just 33lbs) who is looking for her loving forever home. Ruby has luxated patellas on both of her back knees, and her previous owners called 911 to get rid of her one day as they were no longer willing to help with her disability, which led to her being brought to the ACC. Husky House pulled her upon hearing about this, as alumni Ripple and Whopper both had the same condition and did great with surgery. She has gotten surgery on her first knee and has completely healed from the procedure, and Husky House is working with veterinarians to determine if surgery is an option for her other knee. Ruby is a very sweet, affectionate pup who loves people and other dogs. She even used to live with a cat, so she’s cat friendly! Interested in adopting Ruby?
