Story
Looking for a permanent, loving home for our sweet foster girl, Annabelle. She has been through a lot in her short life of 3 years but is doing great now. She is a 47 lb. Husky/boxer mix who was abused by a man in her former life. Despite her past, she warmed up to my husband in 2 days and shows no signs of fear around him. She is super sweet, loves to lay all over me, sleeps at the foot of the bed, but also enjoys her large crate. She knows several commands and was just successfully treated for a terrible flea allergy. She needs an owner who will spend lots of time with her playing and giving her love. She is to be an indoor dog only but would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can run and play too. Due to her size and energy level, she is overwhelming my smaller, older and blind dogs, so a home without young children AND larger dogs or no other dogs would be best. I also have two foster kittens from the same household and she seems fine with them. She is a gem

Story
My husband and I rescued “Rowdy” a few years back. We immediately changed to Murphy. We thought “Rowdy” was meaning he was ROWDY. He is DEFINITELY one that loves to run and boy oh boy can he run and I mean FAST!!! He’s EXTREMELY loyal once he chooses his “person”, but he can be a handful. Tugs while walking, etc. but listens at the same time. He’s a hard one to crack test wants and loves to sit on a lap lol. However, he can be aggressive sometimes or maybe we’re just “over worried“ so when we have guest over, we normally put him up just because my husband and I get worried. Sadly my husband has been ill for some time and I just don’t have to means, the ability (due to work hours etc..) to give him the outside time, exercise b,etc…he most certainly deserves. Becoming too much for me.Sidenote…we are unsure of his actual breed.

Her boundless energy makes her the perfect companion for adventurous outings. If you're looking for a loyal and loving friend, Ava is ready to fill your days with joy and companionship. She has gone through a 4 week board and train program and is doing better with basic commands. Story
Niko is a 12.5 year old Siberian husky. We’ve had him since he was a puppy and has moved all over the southern US with us while we were in the military and has lived in NC for the past 8 years. He has been a good dog and he is generally well-behaved and happy, but has bad allergies and can be set in his ways/want his space, especially as he has gotten older. We now have a young child with another on the way and don’t feel comfortable putting either them or him in a situation that could escalate.
