Meet Bubble Puppy!Bubble Puppy is a 6-month-old mixed-breed pup who is ready to find a family that will help him grow into the wonderful adult dog we know he can be!Bubble currently weighs 31 pounds, but he is definitely not done growing yet. His mom was a black mixed-breed dog weighing around 50 pounds, and we never met his dad, so his adult size is a bit of a mystery. With his black muzzle and tan body, he has some serious Shepherd or Boxer vibes going on!Bubble is a friendly, energetic, playful puppy who loves toys, especially balls, plush toys, squeaky toys, and tug toys. His previous family reported that he enjoyed playing with both people and children, although he can be a jumper when he gets excited.He's still working on his manners and confidence. Bubble is a little undersocialized when meeting other dogs and can be shy or stiff during interactions, so we're working with him on becoming more comfortable and confident around canine friends. He'll need an adopter who is willing to continue that work and help him learn that new experiences don't have to be scary.Like many young dogs, Bubble also needs someone to teach him the rules of being a well-behaved housemate. His previous family reported that he didn't respond well to commands, wasn't yet potty trained, and had some difficulty being left alone.The good news? He's young, he's eager to play, and he's got plenty of time to learn! Bubble Puppy is neutered, vaccinated, flea & tick treated, given dewormer, and microchipped. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.We're open Monday through Friday 12-5 pm and Saturday 11-3 pm. We're located at 9331 State Route 124 Hillsboro, OH. Our adoption is open and easy, please come to the shelter to meet the animals in person to adopt.
