Story
Wiggle butt Lola is ready to be your loyal companion! Lola loves to relax and cuddle with her people. She lives for your love and attention and returns it 10-fold! Her spatial awareness is certainly not her strongest suit. Her tail seems to be designed to destroy, as she wags it so hard in her excitement around you that it slams into you or furniture :) She is low energy, easy to care for, and low maintenance for just about any household. She knows how to sit, shake, and lay down. Lola is good on the leash. Although she is low energy, she is a decent running buddy. Lola is a food grazer, although she will gobble down treats all day :)  Lola is 2 years old, 50lb Staffy. She is looking for a relatively quiet home where she can be a companion to the family. Lola exhibits a little bit of anxiety when not around her people so a home with retired members or WFH is preferred.

Story
Ahh .. how comforting it is to know that your pup is your biggest fan. Cali puts her humans first. Always there to comfort and to hold. She loves cuddles and happily covers you in kisses. She has earned the nickname Snugglebug. She is calm, listens well, rarely barks, housebroken and crate trained. Cali gets nervous during thunderstorms/fireworks and will hide under the bed as her safe space. Cali is a 4-year-old, 45-50lb Staffy. She is looking for a home with older children, and an only pet. The random movements and loud noises from younger children make her nervous. Cali prefers a calm, quieter home. She wants to be your loyal, affectionate friend.

Story
Familiar with the saying ‘be careful what you name your dog’? Siren is living proof of that. This girl sure can scream if she is in a crate and you walk by without acknowledging her. When you do, you’ll be rewarded with the goofiest happy dances, adorable snorts and that huge gator smile :) Siren is excited to see you every time. She takes meeting guests very seriously. She comes sweeping into your space with her gator crawls. She swings her butt in your direction so you can pet her. She tries to give you kisses. That tongue of hers can cover your entire face with one swipe. How about that for a greeting :) Siren style <3 Siren is a wonderful walking buddy. Loose leash, gentle, leisurely trots. Problem is she doesn’t have the stamina to go far. 10-15 minutes in and she needs a little break. She flops on the ground and will only resume the walk when she is ready. Solution? A little doggie wagon. A good thing about Siren is that she takes care of business as soon as she goes outside. Siren is just as social with dogs. She gets into her play bow position and is ready to be besties. Siren is just as comfortable chilling beside you. You’ll make her very happy if you shoot kisses her way every now and then. She flashes you her megawatt gator smile :) Siren is 3 years old, 58lb American Bully. She is looking for a relaxed home where it is okay if she takes two hours to complete a walk. Her humans aren’t rushing her home because they have a mountain of things to do to get ready for the next day. Siren loves cuddles and family time. A home with older children and calmer dogs is preferred to match her calmer energy.

Ravenna

Bull Terrier American Bulldog

Story
Ravenna was adopted as a tiny 8 to 9-week-old puppy… just a baby with her whole life ahead of her. Years later, she was found again—alone, roaming as a stray, her skin in rough shape, clearly having been through more than any dog should. And yet… somehow, Ravenna is still Ravenna. Still silly. Still full of personality. Still ready to love like nothing ever broke her. This girl is a one-of-a-kind mix—Bull Terrier, Husky, maybe a little Bulldog—and you’ll see it immediately. The dramatic “talking back” screams when she wants attention, the hilarious tippy-tappy toes when she’s excited, and yes… the moments where she gets “mad” at you and turns her whole butt in your direction like a stubborn toddler 😊And her eyes… one blue, one brown. They don’t just look at you, they pull you in. Ravenna is independent and loves to explore, but no matter what, she comes when you call. Every. Single. Time. She’ll run right up, lean into you, and wait for her favorite thing in the world—butt scratches. That’s all she needs to be happy. She greets new people with big jumps (her version of a hug), and on walks… you’ll want a good grip on that leash. She’s strong, and if she spots something to chase, she’s ready! A Freedom Harness works wonders. Now fair warning—if you see other dogs, Ravenna will put on a show. The Bull Terrier in her comes out loud and proud—excited screams, dancing feet… it can look like chaos to strangers. But those who know the breed? They see exactly what it is: pure, goofy joy. Because that’s Ravenna. Loud. Dramatic. Hilarious. Loving. She can be selective with dog friends, and she’ll need someone who understands her quirks—but for the right person, she is everything. After everything she’s been through… she’s still choosing to trust, to love, to be silly. She deserves someone who chooses her back. Forever this time. Come meet Ravenna. She’s been waiting for you. Ravenna is 7 years old, 60lb Bull Terrier mix. She is looking for a family who understands Bull Terriers, who will laugh at her silly displays and be amused by her. Kids are welcome but beware; she can knock them over with her exuberance.

Story
Oooooh talk about Frenchie sass! This girl’s got it and then some. Diamond has an agenda for everything she does and you better get with the program! First, the walk. Oh, yes that classic sway. She struts her stuff and goes where she wants to go. Gentle tugs don’t do the trick. She puts all 32lb of her weight into a stop. So yeah, good luck if there’s a path you want to walk. Easy solution. Pick her up, walk a few steps, then set her down and start walking in the direction you want to go. Diamond loves it when you cup her face, scratch behind her ears and forehead and whisper sweet nothings. She closes her eyes, soaks it all in. She loves it so much she grunts and snorts while slowly drifting into a hypnotic state :D It’s adorable! Other Diamond favorites are toys and stuffies. She shakes and beats the heck out of stuffies, chases balls and attempts to carry balls in her mouth. Only problem is she hasn’t figured out how to hold the ball in her mouth :/ Diamond is 5 years old, 32lb French Bulldog. She is looking for a family who appreciates her sassy butt and caters to her. A quieter home with calmer dog(s) is preferred. It would be very nice if Diamond and Sadie could be adopted together. They are friends but not bonded.
Photo of Mocha

Mocha

Alaskan Malamute Collie

Female, 6 yrs
Brunswick, OH
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
If there was a doggie beauty pageant, Mocha would win it, hands down. Look at her. So regal, stunning, graceful, and a social butterfly. Mocha knows it too. She loves getting attention from people. She goes from person to person to solicit attention and pets. She will even nudge you to give her pets and attention. After she has her fill, she goes off to do her own thing, leaving you hanging :D She isn’t too fond of young children. Their random quick movements and chatter disrupt her love for space and quiet. Outdoors, she isn’t so bothered by it but indoors, she prefers adults because she knows she can get pets and attention on her terms :) Mocha is wonderful with dogs. She likes to play chase and tug with dogs. If a dog isn’t available and she’s bored, she may chase her tail for entertainment. She also loves to play with water hoses. True to her breed, Mocha is a good walker. She has the stamina and endurance for long walks. Mocha whines if she needs to use the bathroom. If you are too slow in reading her signals, she nudges the door :) Other cute things Mocha does, she howls at sirens, she loves to bake, well, more like she likes to play with flour, she hates paper and blankets. We are guessing blankets make her too hot because of her already thick coat. Oh, did we mention Mocha loves her doggie treats? She eats them fast, but never with her meals. Mocha is 6 years old, 62lb Malamute Collie mix. She is looking for a quiet home with older children. A family who enjoys walks and couch cuddles would make her very happy. A home with no other dog is preferred as Mocha does not like to share her humans with other dogs :/ She has a luscious coat that needs to be brushed every day. She tolerates grooms but does better if there aren’t any other dogs in the same grooming room. She is shy at being seen naked :D
