Story
Meet Dolly 🌸 She is a low-maintenance, easygoing girl who enjoys short walks, lounging in the sun, and relaxing in the grass. She loves affection and quiet companionship more than anything. She gets along with other animals as long as they give her space, she’d do best in a calm home with relaxed pets or as the only animal. Dolly is a gentle 9-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart who has overcome more hardship than any dog should. She spent the first part of her life chained to a tree in Indiana for three long years, used for breeding until she could no longer have puppies. When she was no longer wanted, she was left to live in a car in Ohio. 🌸Despite everything she’s been through, Dolly’s heart is pure gold. She’s now working on gaining back some healthy weight and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and recently had a few growths removed, so she’s ready for her forever home. After everything she’s survived, Dolly truly deserves a peaceful, loving place to call home, one where she can finally just be loved. ❤️ Text to meet Dolly 🌸440.773.1707 / (216) 470-4322❤️

Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Camille, better known as Cami, is a Belgian Malinois with a heart as big as her brain! Born around 3/12/25, this girl is brilliant, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. She is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids. She truly adores children — especially her “small humans,” who she loves to snuggle up with whenever she gets the chance. Cami is already potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She plays fetch, takes treats gently, and is an absolute wizard at puzzle toys. Her intelligence really shines — she has even tried agility courses and done amazingly well! This is a dog who loves to learn and thrives when her mind is engaged. Cami is also a big fan of chewing on bones, cozy cuddles, and being close to her people. She bonds deeply and loves hard. Because of her past, Cami does have some separation anxiety. As a very young puppy (around 5–6 months old), she was used as a guard dog in a warehouse and was found wandering alone multiple times by animal control. That early instability left her worried that when her people leave, they may not come back. She is working hard on this and improving, but she will need a patient, understanding family who can offer consistency, reassurance, and lots of love as she continues to build confidence. Cami would do best in a home with consistent routines, mental stimulation, and people who are committed to helping her feel safe and secure. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty, affection, and joy. Cami is a truly special dog — sweet, smart, loving, and full of potential. With the right family, she’s going to absolutely shine If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. DOB: 3/12/2025 Adoption Fee: $500

Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Urban — the quiet heart-stealer of the Buckeye puppies. While his siblings are busy causing chaos, Urban is usually found doing what he does best: enjoying good company and catching up on much-needed naps. He’s the smallest of the boys and the most laid-back, proving that not every puppy needs to be the loudest to stand out. Urban is still adventurous, but he prefers to let one of his siblings lead the way first before joining in. He’s not nearly as vocal as the rest of the crew and would much rather be by your side than in the middle of mischief. If you’re looking for a puppy who values companionship just as much as playtime, Urban might be your guy. Urban was born around 12/19/25. He is a handsome tan bulldog mix with a sweet white stripe on his nose that perfectly matches his gentle personality. While he is still too young to be neutered, he will be neutered before going to his forever home. Urban is ready to find a family who appreciates a softer, sweeter kind of puppy love. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Colt is a striking red Border Collie with brains, bounce, and a whole lot of heart. True to his breed, this boy is extremely intelligent, agile, and always ready for his next job. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to do life with you — Colt is your guy. Colt is around 2 years old and currently weighs 41 pounds. He is potty trained and crate trained (though he may voice a small opinion about the crate at first). He settles quickly and is very responsive to gentle correction. Colt will be neutered soon, which should help curb some of his outdoor marking habits. He did attempt to mark indoors once, received one correction, and hasn’t tried again — smart boy! Colt does beautifully with other dogs. He reads them well, plays appropriately, and genuinely enjoys canine companionship. In fact, he recently discovered the joy of toys after another dog showed him how fun they can be! He’ll engage with toys, but truthfully, he prefers being close to his human above all else. Colt has not yet been introduced to cats or children. As expected from a Border Collie, Colt is high energy and thrives when he has a purpose. He is still learning leash manners and working on impulse control (he can get excited and jump up), but he is incredibly attentive and eager to learn. He already knows “sit” and “down,” has excellent distance recall, and picks up on training quickly. With structure and consistency, he will absolutely shine. He has a big-dog bark when someone approaches the door — he takes his “alert system” job seriously! — but the moment they walk in, he turns into all wiggles and friendliness. We’re also working on not bolting out doors in his excitement to greet people. This handsome, high-drive boy will thrive in an active home that understands the Border Collie mindset — one that offers exercise, mental stimulation, and partnership. He is deeply loyal, highly trainable, and ready to bond with someone who appreciates a smart, spirited companion. If you’re looking for a brilliant adventure buddy who wants to be your right-hand man, Colt is waiting. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Checkers! A 2-year-old, 12-pound mini-Doodle. Checkers is a sweet, cuddly little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely thrives on attention and would happily be your tiny coworker — he loves sleeping right beside his person while they work and is content to snooze peacefully just about anywhere. Checkers gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and loves to play and chase with his canine friends. He has not yet met children. While he doesn’t seem aggressive toward cats, he does try to chase them — especially at night — and will corner them in what appears to be playful behavior. However, because of this, we feel a cat-free home would be the safest and best fit for everyone. He is crate trained and settles nicely after a few minutes of protest — once he’s relaxed, he sleeps through the night. He’s currently working on potty training and making good progress. He takes correction well and is eager to please. Checkers is a toy enthusiast, especially when it comes to crinkle toys! He also loves treats and takes them ever so gently. When it comes to meals, he can be a bit of a foodie — he prefers a little something tasty mixed into his kibble, but once you add a spoonful of wet food or topper, he cleans his bowl. More than anything, Checkers loves companionship. He does not enjoy being left alone for long periods and would do best in a home where someone is around often or where he has another playful dog for company. If you’re looking for a cuddly, playful little shadow who will happily keep you company all day long, Checkers may be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes.
