Story
Meet  Matcha aka matcha latte  Age: estimated around 1-2 years old.   Weight: 40 lbs. Breed: boxer mix.  This sweet girl was found abandoned in a car with another dog and was dangerously underweight. Now Matcha is a healthy, medium sized dog and she’s learning what a good life looks like.  Even with her rough start to life she’s still a very happy, loving, carefree pup. Matcha loves playing with other dogs and snuggling on the couch (especially under the blanket). She’s obsessed with all toys but anything with a squeaker is her favorite. Toys don’t last long with her so be prepared to clean up fluff but she will leave your shoes/pillows alone.  We’re learning that Matcha does have some fear based reactivity when meeting new people but once you earn her trust she’s a total love bug so say goodbye to personal space. She tends to be more fearful of men which leads us to believe she may have previously been abused but if you give her some time, treats or a new toy she’ll eventually be your best friend.  Matcha doesn’t love the vet although I can’t say I blame her. Previous appointments have required muzzling, calming meds and mild sedation but it’s possible she could overcome her fears with time. Matcha is crate trained and potty trained but she does think baby gates are her own personal hurdles to jump.   Matcha would probably do best in a home with older children due to some of her puppy tendencies and she would like another dog but one isn’t required. If you feel capable of giving Matcha the time, patience and support needed along with a fraction of the love she’ll give you, please fill out an application to meet this sweet girl so she can finally have a loving family of her own. Matcha is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Matcha's adoption fee is $250. Ready to Make Matcha part of your family? Mabel Hound Mix | 1 Year Old | ~30 lbs | Female Meet Mabel — 30 pounds of sweetness, snuggles, and pure puppy joy. Mabel is a 1-year-old hound mix who brings energy and love into every room she enters. She enjoys romping in the yard, chewing on her toys, and — her greatest talent — snuggling up with her people. Story
Meet Star Star is a beautiful 3–4-year-old sweetheart weighing about 45 pounds, and just like her name, she shines in her own special way. She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she knows you, she becomes the sweetest, most loyal cuddle buddy you could ever ask for. Star bonds deeply with her people and loves nothing more than being close to those she trusts. In her foster home, Star has proven to be a wonderful house guest. She is fully potty trained and has not needed to be crated. She settles in nicely and enjoys being part of the family routine. Star absolutely loves car rides and will happily hop in for an adventure. Walks are one of her favorite activities, and she also enjoys playing with her foster dog siblings. She thrives around other dogs and would likely love a canine companion in her forever home. Star previously lived in a home with cats before coming into foster care, so she may be able to coexist with feline friends as well. Because Star can be a little shy at first, she’ll need a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. But once she blossoms, you’ll see just how incredibly loving and devoted she truly is. Her gentle nature, loyal heart, and love of cuddles make her an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a faithful best friend who will reward your patience with endless love, Star might just be the perfect match for you. Star is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $250. Ready to Meet Star? Start by completing an adoption application at www.rescue330.org. ##2634484##

Story
Meet Floyd 🐾 There are some dogs that just get you — the kind that make you laugh every single day without even trying. Floyd is that dog. He's a Husky/Shepherd/Border Collie mix turned 1 year old, which means he's got the brains of a Border Collie, the soul of a Husky, and just enough derp to keep things interesting. He's up to date on vaccines, neutered, and loves both kids and dogs with his whole heart. Floyd's hobbies include: sleeping with his tongue fully extended (a masterpiece), watching The Dog Whisperer like it's required coursework, long walks at the park, and occasionally — when formally invited — singing the songs of his people. He's the kind of dog who makes strangers stop and smile. The honest stuff, because Floyd deserves honesty: He has some crate anxiety. He goes in willingly to relax or eat, but when he's home alone, he gets stressed and has actually chipped a tooth trying to get out — and I refuse to let him hurt himself anymore. He roams the house now and does really well, especially after a good walk before you head out. He's on trazodone from the vet to help him settle, and he's still growing into himself. If you plan to crate, a trainer recommended an impact crate or solid-bar style. Also — he's fine around cats on walks, but the first time he met a kitten he had no idea what it was and gave chase. A cat-free home would probably be his sweet spot. A yard to run in? Friends to play with? That's Floyd's dream life. As for me — I'd love nothing more than an open adoption. I'll dog-sit whenever you travel. I just want him to be happy and loved, and I know he will be, because he's already everything to the right person. He's been through a lot in his first year, and he deserves someone who'll go all in for him. Questions? Please ask. And please share — Floyd's people are out there. 🐕

Story
This is Bootsie, a 9-year-old sweetheart looking for her forever home. She’s house trained, leash-ready, and loves affection from her favorite people.  Bootsie does well with other dogs who are not confrontational.   She is very food motivated.  She weighs just under 20lbs.  Bootsie has some sensitivity around being handled — she’s not comfortable being picked up or touched on her back and sides — so she’s best suited for an adult-only home and having a fenced in yard would be best for her to go in and out on her own.  When she does need to be handled beyond what she’s comfortable with, her foster slips on a small muzzle and is able to handle her without her acting out.  We are continuing to work with her to get her more comfortable around being handled. With patience and understanding, she’ll reward her forever family with endless loyalty. Bootsie has a small lump on her shoulder that has already been checked out by the vet — it's benign (non-cancerous). We're keeping an eye on it as a routine precaution and to monitor for any changes. Bootsie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Bootsie's adoption fee is $150. Interested in adopting Bootsie?
