Ringo

Cattle Dog Shepherd (Unknown Type)

Male, 2 yrs 4 mos
Sharon Center, OH
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ringo is a super sweet and friendly boy, ready for his forever home! This guy makes friends everywhere he goes with his silly, happy personality! He is almost two years old and full of fun! But Ringo is also snuggly and enjoys being close to you getting pets and love. In fact, once you start petting him, he melts right into you! He is also very smart and very well trained, since he was fostered by a professional dog trainer! He loves walks and does wonderful on a leash and on car rides. Unfortunately, Ringo did not have the best life before coming to Maggie's Mission. He has strong resource guarding of high value items, including food. Because of this, we recommend Ringo go to a home without children or with older children only. Similarly, although Ringo absolutely LOVES playing with other dog pals, he'd do best as the only pet in a home. This will limit the need for constant resource guarding mitigation. But play dates with playful doggos and no high value items would be his dream come true! Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Story
We are looking for a very special home for our buddy, Luke! Luke was kept outdoors in a secluded pen for much of his early life. Due to this past, he is in need of a specific type of adopter. Luke will need experienced dog owners, highly recommended would be people who understand how to manage under-socialized dogs. Luke bonds quickly with his handler/owner and is extremely loving and affectionate. He absolutely loves other dogs, and another playful dog in the home would be recommended. Luke is not suited for a home with young children, but older teenagers will be considered on a case by case basis. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Meet Clark! This young cane corso came to us after being found with a significant leg wound. Now that he's all healed, he is ready to go to his forever home! Clark is very sweet and has done wonderful with his foster mom and canine siblings. His foster mom says he's the perfect house guest! We don't know much about Clark's past, but he can be a little standoff-ish at first. He does well once he knows you're a pal. Clark is a big boy! So he would prefer no small children, that he might accidentally knock over. Clark does well with other dogs and cats! Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Despite her rough start in life, she is sweet as can be and adorable to boot! She adores people and is a little shadow girl. Lizzy has adapted well in her foster home and we've learned she loves to play and go for car rides! She's learning all the good stuff and showing us what a good girl she is! The one thing we have learned about Lizzy is that she needs to be the only pet in the home. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org
