Story
Anansi is an extremely active and playful pup. He would do best in an active household where he can get out and see the world. He is not fond of small dogs due to being attacked as a puppy. He is very social and struggles with over excitement in public setting but with more training I’m positive he’ll be great. He’s very affectionate and does great with schedules, maintaining a 9pm bedtime since his early pup months.

*Reduced adoption fee! Participating in our Bissell Empty the Shelter adoption event This adorable girl is Erin. She was transferred to SFTS with a small group of other dogs from Milwaukee animal control. We believe she is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, and around 5 yrs old, so we won't be getting any bigger than she is now. Erin is a sweet, friendly girl, and has loved all of the people she's met. She would love a forever home where she could be your only pup. But with a dog as adorable as her, who else could you possibly need?! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/adoptableanimals

Story
*Reduced adoption fee! Participating in our Bissell Empty the Shelter adoption event Julien is an absolute dreamboat! Not only is he a slam-dunk in the looks department, he's mastered the "puppy eyes" and just sucks you in with one look. Julien is sweet as can be, just melting in your hands and showering you with kisses. This kid is a master snuggler, and his tail never stops wagging. Although Julien does totally fine with other dogs when a barrier such as a fence or kennel door is involved, he would prefer not to share your attention and be the only dog in his forever home. Julien came to us with many scars on his face and legs, so we're assuming he may have been attacked in the past and understandably feels a bit nervous around other dogs. Julien has spent some time in our staff offices, as he's a favorite around the shelter. He loves to help with office duties and make sure everyone stays on task. After a few minutes of exploring, Julien settles in and lays on his bed all stretched relaxing. Julien is one fantastic pup, that's for sure! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. He is dog friendly, crate trained, appears to be potty trained and loves to play with balls. Luca is a young dog but he has a really mild, gentle temperament. This boy is sure to make anyone happy! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Story
Milo is a great energetic dog. He will be 2 years old in May. We currently have an older dog and thought getting another dog would be so good for our current dog and as good as it has been we are unfortunately not able to keep up with the both of them. Milo loves to play, he is very trainable. Milo has gone through a basic level puppy class. He knows how to sit, lay and is working on going to bed. He has been crate trained and usually sleeps in his crate. He is potty trained. We have two small children (3 and 4) that play with him. He does have some seasonal allergies, right now we are currently treating this with an allergy shot from the vet.

Story
*Reduced adoption fee! Participating in our Bissell Empty the Shelter adoption event Hopper is the happiest boy ever and really lives up to his name. He is an exuberant boy and loves to play. He came to us from a crowded shelter in Ohio, and is extremely underweight, which will quickly resolve with all the love and treats our shelter dogs receive. While we have not yet formally dog tested him, we were told Hopper is good with other dogs. Hopper is quickly picking up basic commands and is working on his manners, and has been enjoying walks with our volunteers. Hopper is looking for an active family who enjoys a good laugh from his silly personality, and would likely LOVE taking trick training classes or getting started in dog sports. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines.
