Story
Meet Spirit Spirit may be a puppy with a disability, but don’t tell her that—she has no idea! This happy, affectionate girl is full of love and joy. Her favorite things include snuggling on a soft bed or curling up right in your lap for a nap after a good play session. Spirit is paralyzed in her back end due to a stable spinal fracture that cannot be surgically repaired. She cannot use her back legs and has no control over stool or urine, but her elimination is reflexive and does not require intervention as long as amounts remain normal. Despite this, Spirit doesn’t let her condition slow her down one bit—she’s just as playful and silly as any other pup. She’s very social and loves meeting new people, especially kids. Spirit gets along well with other dogs and is curious about cats—though her playful energy and eagerness to chase may be a bit much for some feline friends. Like most puppies, Spirit is learning the ropes of the world. She’s working on playing fetch, enjoys sunny days outdoors, and thinks wagon rides are the best way to go on walks. She’s even dipped her paws into swimming at the lake! True to puppy form, she does like to explore the world with her mouth, so she’ll need continued guidance as she grows. At night, Spirit settles nicely in her crate and sleeps soundly when things are quiet. She’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly—always ready for fun, but happiest snuggled up next to her people. If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient puppy who will bring sunshine, silliness, and snuggles into your life, Spirit just might be your match! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Barry! Barry is a handsome Shih Tzu who is just beginning his new chapter after being released from a puppy mill. While the world is still a big and unfamiliar place, this sweet little guy is taking it all in one cautious step at a time. Right now, Barry is on the shy side and appreciates a patient, understanding approach. As he settles in, though, his curiosity has started to shine through. You'll often find him quietly observing his surroundings, building the confidence to explore and discover all the wonderful things life has to offer. Barry is looking for a calm, loving home that will allow him to adjust at his own pace. His future family should be prepared to celebrate the little victories—whether it's taking a treat from your hand, venturing out to explore, or learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. Watching Barry grow into the dog he was always meant to be will be an incredibly rewarding journey. If you have a gentle heart, a little patience, and a lot of love to give, Barry may be the perfect companion to blossom by your side. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Frodo, an adorable golden/shephard puppy with a heart as big as his puppy paws! Frodo came to us as an owner surrender, and while change can be a little confusing for a young pup, he has remained the sweetest little guy throughout it all. Frodo is a true sweetheart who loves attention, cuddles, and being close to his people. He has that classic puppy charm — playful, affectionate, curious, and always ready to make a new friend. Whether he’s exploring the world around him, romping around with toys, or curling up for snuggles after a busy day, Frodo is happiest when he’s sharing life with someone special. As a young puppy, Frodo is still learning all the important puppy basics, so he’ll need a family ready to guide him with patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. In return, you’ll get a loyal best friend who will grow into a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a loving, happy-go-lucky puppy to add joy and cuddles to your home, Frodo may be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet boy and see if he’s the newest member of your fellowship! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Petunia! 🌸 Petunia is a sweet Boston Terrier who came to us from a breeder release and is ready to experience the love and comfort of a forever home. This adorable girl absolutely loves people and is happiest wherever her humans are. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or working around the house, Petunia wants to be right there with you! Petunia is a happy, wiggly girl who does a little dance when you come home or open her crate in the morning. She is doing great with potty training, keeps her crate clean, rarely barks, and is quick to learn and adapt to new situations. She enjoys walks, although she’s just as happy being a couch potato afterward. Petunia does well with cats in the home and mostly ignores them, but she gets very excited when she sees cats outside because she thinks everyone should be her friend! She is still learning about toys but loves being involved in whatever her people are doing. If you're looking for a loving, silly, people-focused companion who will always be excited to see you, Petunia may be the perfect match! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
