Here is more info and pics: 🐾 ISADORA UPDATE🐾 I had the absolute pleasure of having Isadora as my Weekend Warrior again this weekend, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this sweet girl. ❤️ Isadora is a beautiful, 11-month-old puppy from DeKalb County Animal Services who is blind — but she certainly doesn’t let that slow her down! She is doing AMAZINGLY well navigating the world. This weekend, she went to Downtown Roswell and even to a loud brewery, and she was absolutely perfect. She handled all the new sights, sounds, people and activity like a champ. 🥹🐾 She is also working on potty training, and I’m so proud to say that she has had ZERO accidents this entire weekend — and she has not been crated. She has been such an easy, sweet girl to have around. ❤️ A few things I love about Isadora: • Loves children • perfect size- only 25lbs • Loves dogs — big and small! • Wonderful in new environments • Navigates amazingly well despite being blind • Sweet, affectionate and people-loving • Working hard on potty training • Has had no accidents this weekend • Has done beautifully without being crated I would love to see Isadora go to a home with another dog, because she absolutely LOVES canine companionship. 🐶❤️ I have a feeling she would probably love cats too, although she hasn’t been tested with them while I’ve had her. Most importantly, Isadora needs an adopter or a long-term foster to keep her out of the shelter. She has so much potential and is such a happy, loving puppy. She deserves a home where she can continue to thrive and show everyone that being blind doesn’t stop her from learning Please share Isadora! 🙏🏻❤️ Her person is out there — we just need to help them find each other. Story
🐾 Meet Petey! 🐾 Petey is a sweet three-legged Pit Bull mix who may need a little time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, he’s happy to show you his affectionate side! 💙 Petey can be a bit shy when meeting new people, so he’ll do best with a family who is willing to let him take things at his own pace. He can also be dog selective, so any potential canine siblings will need to meet him to make sure they’re a good match. Because Petey appreciates having his personal space respected, he would do best in a home with older children who understand how to appropriately interact with dogs and know when to give them some quiet time. Petey may be missing a leg, but that doesn’t stop him from being a wonderful companion! If you’re looking for a sweet guy who just needs a little patience and understanding while he gets comfortable, Petey could be your perfect match. 🐶💙 All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Meet Juan! 🐾💙 Juan is an 8-month-old Schnauzer mix who is ready to find a family to call his own! We are still getting to know this sweet boy and learning more about his personality, but one thing we already know for sure is that Juan has so much love to give. At 8 months old, Juan is still working on his basic puppy training and will need a family who is willing to continue helping him learn and grow. Story
Meet Rosemary 🌹 Rosemary is the smartest little lady in her litter—and she isn't afraid to let her brothers know it! She was quick to figure out the important things, including learning how to eat and drink from a bowl before her brothers did. Rosemary is incredibly sweet, but she also has a strong personality and a confident little streak. She's already quite skilled at keeping her brothers in line! Rosemary is good with cats, dogs, and kids. She's a bright puppy who will love learning new things, so she would do best in a home committed to basic training, socialization, and giving her plenty of opportunities to use her smart little brain. Rosemary came to us from Texas with her mom and littermates through our friends at Austin Pets Alive. This clever, sweet girl is looking for a forever family who will keep her growing, learning, and exploring as she becomes the amazing adult dog she's destined to be. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
