Meet Emmet! This sweet baby boy is apx 6 months old, born in Feb 2023. He loves food and is working to learn new tricks! He just lost his last two baby teeth and is learning what love is. He is shy to meet new people but is learning to cuddle. Emmet really wants to be a cuddle bug, but isn't always too sure- his sonar ears certainly tell you what he's feeling. He loves the cat he interacts with and has been around a lot of other dogs. He hasn't been exposed to children yet, but would likely love anyone if they take some time and patience. Previous Dachshund experience is preferred. More info added over time. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the cats growth as you help them on their journey to their happy ending. Meet Espresso! She loves to be carried around and snuggled on and favorite activities are sleeping and snuggling. She would be great as an only dog or with a similarly inclined friend for companionship. Essie loves being in her crate, and is quiet. She is reliably potty trained, but will use pads in the enclosure. When rescued, she had a bad case of mange so lost some of her hair. She is healthy now but may need to wear a sweater to keep warm. She is good with cats and other dogs. Essie is about 9.5 years old and weighs 8 pounds. Meet Emma! She was nervous at the rescue, but she warmed up really quickly in her foster home! Within 2 days, she was comfortable and approaching everyone in the home. She's doing great with potty training. She's quiet throughout the night in her kennel, but she prefers to sleep in bed with her person. She's incredibly snuggly and just wants to be with you. She's great with other dogs and cats. She's very gentle and submissive.
