Story
This 10-year-old, 10-pound Shipoo may have limited vision and hearing, but he makes up for it with endless love and sweetness. He’s a gentle soul who just wants to be near his person and feel safe. Because he can’t see or hear well, walks on a leash aren’t really his thing — he prefers to just stand close or explore at his own pace. He would do best with someone who is home most of the time. Leo becomes anxious if he can’t find you and may bark until you return, so he wouldn’t do well in an apartment or with long periods alone. He recently had a dental cleaning and full bloodwork, which looked great, and he’s all ready for his forever home. If you’re looking for a devoted little companion to share your days with, Leo will repay you with unconditional love and loyalty. All he needs is a safe space, a kind heart, and someone to remind him he’s finally home Adoption is $150 which includes his dental, neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.All animals are up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and fixed. To meet one of our animals we require an approved application. You can fill one out at https://tobyscrittercoverescue.org/adoptionapp/ November 6, 2025, 5:22 pm

Story
This handsome 5-year-old Australian Shepherd is the total package — smart, loyal, and full of love! Max knows his basic commands like sit, down, stay, and come, though he may forget his manners when he’s extra excited. He’s fully housebroken and has never had an accident indoors. He’s a good boy who loves his toys and bones, enjoys chewing appropriately, and even appreciates some quiet time in his crate — though he’d much rather be right by your side. Max is happiest when he’s with his person, whether he’s fetching a ball, soaking up belly rubs, or resting his head in your lap. He walks nicely on a leash but can get a bit reactive or pull when he sees other dogs — just the enthusiastic Aussie energy shining through. He has played well with other dogs, but slow, calm introductions are best. Like many herding breeds, Max takes his job seriously. He’ll alert you when a delivery arrives, stays aware of everything happening in the home, and loves following you from room to room. Because he may try to herd small children or animals, he’ll thrive in a home familiar with typical Aussie behaviors and ready to help him channel that energy positively.   Adoption is $350 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. Story
Please contact Amber (alfedor@sbcglobal.net) for more information about this pet. Peanut is a happy lab mix puppy boy born around 9/18/25. He will be neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to adopt after his neuter on 12/8/25. His adoption fee is $350 but includes all and his happy disposition. To adopt him, please complete our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org. Any questions, email alfedor@sbcglobal.net.  Please remember pups looks and personalities can change QUITE a bit as they grow up. They lose their puppy coats and growth estimates can be unreliable when dealing with mixed breeds. Also note that puppies are LOTS of work. They cannot be alone for 8 hours a day, they chew EVERYTHING, they are physically not capable of 'holding' it for long periods until they mature and they're top skill is usually finding trouble no matter how well you think you've puppy-proofed your home. That being said, they are the most wonderful addition to any home.November 20, 2025, 8:08 am

Story
Bonnie is a 2 year old Aussie shepherd/sheltie mix female. She is only 25 pounds and does not mind being an only dog. She is dog selective but prefers males and will play non stop. She is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed and ready to go to her new home. She jumps up a lot. Working on the jumping but part of that is her young energy. She loves to kiss people and likes sitting outside when it is sunny. To adopt Bonnie, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org so we can see if you are a good match. She is a bit of an escape artist. Her adoption fee is $350. Any questions, email marty@pawsandprayers.org.  She was positive for Anaplasma Phagocytophilum and Lyme tick disease so we will gave her medication for 30 days.  She will need to have bloodwork done again in another 6 months to see if she needs any antibiotic again. It is cheap (around $10 for 30 pills) and is a small pill. Hopefully it is cleared up now. Her young age works in her favor. Story
Please contact No Pawz (nopawzleftbehind@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This is a courtesy post for No Pawz Left Behind. Please use email listed to request an application to adopt this well deserving senior dog. If you are looking to add a new dog to your family, and would be open to a friendly older guy that loves playing with other calm dogs, Jake may be your guy!! Jake is 7 years old, and found himself homeless after his loving owner passed away, and this left Jake and a female pitbull alone in the home for a week to fend for themselves. Jake has adjusted well in foster care but he originally did have anxiety when left alone. He will need a family that will be patient with him for a bit while he learns the routine of a new home. He still loves being very close to his foster mom or dad. He does fabulous with other calm dogs, is playful, and wrestles with his friend dog. Jake listens well, and is the typical intelligent GSD. We would like Jake to go to a home with a fenced yard but owner will need to walk him on a leash in that fence until he feels bonded. Jake has met children and was friendly to them. His adoption fee is $150, and includes neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer, microchip, and endless love and appreciation from Jake. Please email for an application at nopawzleftbehind@gmail.com August 31, 2025, 3:22 am
