Story
True sisters sugar and spice are AKC blue Merle Australian shepherds. Born in 2020 they’ve been with us ever since. I much prefer they leave us together. Both are incredibly smart girls. Still very active. Sugar does tend to have issues with other herding breed dogs but not her sister. She does tend to jump on you for attention and play as well. Spice is a bit more cautious on her own. They love and are used to kids. I really want them to stay together.

Story
Winter is the Queen of our castle and deserves the world. Winter was born in October of 2019 and has been in our family since January of 2020. She has been raised with children and multiple other dogs. Winter is the boss in the most calm, confident way. She does display food/toy aggression with other dogs and should be careful with those items and small children as a precaution. She has never been aggressive towards humans or hurt anyone or anything but she very much puts other dogs in their place. Winter is up to date on mandatory vaccines and is spayed. She has lived a fabulous life with us and has had the luxury of multiple acres to run and swim, though she prefers laying in the sun and eating all the things. Winter even at her older age can not have stuffed toys or dog beds as she will eat them and has a high love for paper products too. She does pull heavily on leash but is very smart and food motivated. We sadly have to downsize and circumstances beyond our control.

Story
Tonka was bought as an 18th birthday gift for my grandson. He wanted & picked out Tonka at a no-kill shelter. He was told Tonka was a boxer! Yeah … maybe a boxer was walking by when Tonka was conceived? That’s as close to a boxer he gets! My grandson had no idea the work & training that goes into a new puppy. He had been around our dogs but when they were adults. When Tonka & my grandson moved in with us, my eldest lives here also, took over Tonka’s training. Tonka was already house broken, but was a bundle of energy & nonstop running. My son has Tonka calmed down, will lay down, though we keep him on a lead for now, go outside to do his business & runs alongside my son, in the grass, while biking or running. My grandson would love to keep Tonka, but at 19; work, girlfriend, guy friends & his motorcycle leave him little time to continue the work my son has done. My son was in an accident & it physically hurts to move & work with Tonka, who deserves a loving home.

Story
Rex is available for foster or foster to adopt. He was found under a car crying in the snow. His breed mix is unknown but has some terrier in him and the best personality! He is a happy and very energetic boy. He is housebroken and does great in his crate. He has met a few cats and has not shown any aggression but just wants to play. Unfortunately, he plays a little too rough for a cat right now, so we are suggesting no cats. We do not recommend any children under 8 due to his energy level. He is still learning to properly play with other dogs so meet and greet is MANDATORY. He has done great with his foster brothers, as long as they’re not small dogs. On first meet, his energy is very overwhelming, but it's all in play. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, just wants love and to run and play! He will settle down after a while and becomes the perfect pup! No small dogs for him! If you would like to foster him or foster to adopt him. Oreo was born on 5/16/25 and is currently gaining weight due to neglect from previous owner. He is still a puppy at heart and loves to play fetch and play with all of his toys. Oreo has some basic training but would benefit with someone who would love to commit to this baby. Oreo is kennel and potty trained. He has been good with kids, dogs and cats. He hasn't shown any food or toy aggression. Oreo is currently pending his upcoming neuter and has been given all of his vaccinations and heart worm test negative.  If you're interested in this adorable baby, please fill out an application on our siteMarch 7, 2026, 11:41 am

Labrador Retriever Catahoula Leopard Dog

Strongsville, OH
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Zeus is approximately 15-16 months old. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm and flea prevention.  Zeus is good with other dogs but does take some time to warm up to "strangers". Give him about 15 minutes! We do suggest no cats or children under the age of 10. He's pretty exuberant and may scare children. He would love a doggy friend! He is very high energy due to his past. He is also a love bug and loves to snuggle once he calms down. He is crate trained and if there is another dog in the home, would do best with meals in his crate. He does guard toys and food from other dogs but not his humans! If you have the time and patience to give this baby boy his forever, best home, please fill out an application.March 7, 2026, 11:41 am
