Story
Marty is a sweet, goofy, and cuddly boy! We absolutely love him and are so sad we need to rehome him. Despite a positive meet and greet with our resident senior dog and slow introductions over 1.5 months- they do not get along. Marty is house trained, is easily directed to his crate, and knows basic commands. We always say “Marty loves loving” because he is happiest cuddling with his people. He truly is a sweet boy and deserves a happy home. Lastly, I feel with an experienced pit bull adopter there is potential, with proper training, for Marty and another dog to get along.

Sweet Simba....what more can we say about him???  He's a tender-hearted soul who is a social butterfly.  Simba does great with other dogs and loves to be loved on. Simba prefers to explore the indoors but is learning to explore the outdoors and know it's not a scary place when you're with someone you trust. Simba is housebroken and crate trained...does great with cats and children as well! Simba would blossom with a doggie buddy!January 22, 2025, 3:27 pm

Bentley has not had a good start to life. He has lived mostly outdoors and was never taught to be an indoor dog and potty outside. He is a lover and will play with you all day if you let him. He really needs someone to show him what a great dog he could be and what love is really about. This is a special breed that needs grooming on the regular. If you think you would love to help Bentley learn how to be a dog and enjoy the rest of his life, please fill out an application today.  March 24, 2025, 8:12 am

Story
We purchased Duke from Petlamd. He is a good dog who needs help with house training. Unfortunately with an 11 month old and new baby this isn’t something we can continue to risk at home. Duke responds to sit, lay down, and night night. Duke is fully crate trained (from being at overland). He sleeps through the night without accidents.

Sloughi Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Rex is available for foster or foster to adopt while he finishes vetting. He was found under a car crying in the snow. His breed mix is unknown but has personality and tendencies of a Sloughi and resembles this breed. He is a happy and very energetic boy. He is housebroken and is doing good with his crate training. He has met a few cats and has not shown any aggression but just wants to play. Unfortunately, he plays a little too rough for a cat right now, so we are suggesting no cats. We do not recommend any children under 8 as he does jump a lot. He would probably benefit from with having a brother or sister to play with that could handle his energy level. On first meet, his energy is very overwhelming, but it's all in play. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, just wants love and to run and play! He will settle down after a while and becomes the perfect pup! If you would like to foster him or foster to adopt him. Please fill out an application at www.forgetmenotanimalrescue.weebly.comApril 12, 2025, 3:43 pm

Story
Boe is 5 years old and is a black lab mix. He was adopted in August of 2019 from the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter in Valley View Ohio when he was only 3 months old. Doctors estimated he was born around May 30, 2019. He was found roaming the streets of Garfield Heights, OH. He is a loving, playful, and highly energetic doggie! He is crate and potty trained. He was already neutered when we adopted him and he is microchipped. He is our only pet and has never been around cats. He has been around dogs because we sometimes board him at Barks & Recreation in Macedonia, OH when we go out of town. He seems to do pretty good there. He loves to play! Boe received his yearly vaccines on July 6, 2024.Boe loves car rides!November 19, 2024, 1:32 pm
