This handsome 5-year-old Australian Shepherd is the total package — smart, loyal, and full of love! Max knows basic commands, is fully housebroken, and enjoys toys, bones, and relaxing in his crate, though he prefers to be by your side. He walks well on a leash but may pull or react when he sees other dogs. He’s played nicely with dogs before, but slow introductions work best. Max loves being with his person, whether he’s fetching a ball, getting belly rubs, or resting his head in your lap. Like most Aussies, he’s alert, aware of his surroundings, and may try to herd small children or animals. He’ll thrive in a home familiar with herding breeds and able to guide his energy in a positive way. Max needs a yard to run in or someone who is reasonably active to help him stay happy and balanced through walks, play, and mental stimulation. Lacey is a 10-year-old Border Collie/Beagle mix with the softest soul and the most devoted heart. She’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and happiest when she’s right by her people’s side—quietly following along, just wanting to be included. She definitely inherited the beagle nose, so fair warning: trash cans should stay secured But beyond that little quirk, Lacey is an easy, peaceful companion. She does fine with other dogs but doesn’t rely on them for companionship—people are her favorite, and that’s all she really needs. Lacey loves the outdoors, especially cooler or cold weather. She would be thrilled with daily walks, time outside with her humans, and simply being able to enjoy fresh air—something she hasn’t had much of in her life so far. Her previous world was very small, and while she was deeply loved, her owners became bedbound and could no longer meet her needs. Letting her go was an act of love, and now Lacey is ready for a new chapter. She has Cushing’s disease, diagnosed a few months ago, and would benefit from activity, weight loss, and consistent care. More than anything, she needs someone who will give her time, affection, and companionship. Lacey isn’t demanding. She doesn’t need chaos or excitement—just a kind person, a steady routine, and love. In return, she’ll give you loyalty, calm companionship, and a quiet presence that makes a house feel like home. Meet Elvis, an 8-year-old, approximately 16-pound Yorkie/Bichon mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for his people. Elvis loves playing fetch with his spiky balls and will bring them right back until he’s worn out. He also enjoys walks, Nylabones, sunbathing, and long naps on the couch—especially if he can be curled up next to you. Belly and chest scratches are his favorite, and he’ll happily return the love with kisses. He is fully house trained, sleeps in his crate all night without potty breaks, and does well being home alone during a typical workday. Elvis goes outside on a leash and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He may bark at door knockers or the mailman, but settles quickly and is friendly once he meets new people. Loud noises or sudden movements can startle him briefly, but he recovers quickly. Elvis prefers being picked up from the side or back and would do best in a home with adults only. Elvis is a sweet, loyal companion looking for a calm, loving home. Adoption is $250 which includes his spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. Story

If you're in the market for a dog with the most soulful, kind eyes, look no further. Sweet Meredith may look like a cute senior pup, but she's actually only 3-4 years old! This 90lb girl spent a short amount of time in a foster home, (from Cleveland City Dogs), and her foster mom said she was a bit shy of the crate, but then ended being wonderful in the home anyways and didn't need the crate. She was house trained, and potty trained, and was chill in the house and a perfect guest that loved her foster mom very much. Fast forward to her present situation. She's been in a home where things are not quite working out, and we feel it was just not the right match for Meredith! Between school and work, Meredith is needing just a bit more than what is available for her. So we are going to try to find a new forever home for her!! We do not know how she will do with cats, and proper introductions will be required if other dogs are in the home. She was being worked on with leash training in her foster home.
