I adopted Stella one year ago and unfortunately my living situation has changed and I no longer am able to keep her. She is a puppy mill breeder rescue dog and she is afraid of men. My fiance has moved into my home and Stella is very unhappy and scared when he is there. She shakes, growls, and hides when he is around. He has tried everything to get her to warm up to him but she doesn't like men at all. I assume she was probably abused by a man when she was in the puppy mill. She would do best in a home with only females. She has been around kids and she doesn't mind them although she doesn't play with them. I just want to place her in a home where she can feel secure and happy.

This handsome 5-year-old Australian Shepherd is the total package — smart, loyal, and full of love! Max knows basic commands, is fully housebroken, and enjoys toys, bones, and relaxing in his crate, though he prefers to be by your side. He walks well on a leash but may pull or react when he sees other dogs. He’s played nicely with dogs before, but slow introductions work best. Max loves being with his person, whether he’s fetching a ball, getting belly rubs, or resting his head in your lap. Like most Aussies, he’s alert, aware of his surroundings, and may try to herd small children or animals. He’ll thrive in a home familiar with herding breeds and able to guide his energy in a positive way. Max needs a yard to run in or someone who is reasonably active to help him stay happy and balanced through walks, play, and mental stimulation. Adoption is $350 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. This precious girl is a 1-year-old Havanese mix, possibly a little Chihuahua sprinkled in, and she weighs just 8 pounds of pure sweetness. She is as gentle and tender as they come, with one of the softest, kindest souls I’ve ever met. She’s a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, she comes out of her shell quickly and becomes a loving little shadow. She does best with calm voices, patient hands, and a home where she can feel secure. A quiet household with minimal chaos would be ideal for her, where she can truly relax and be herself. She just wants to please and needs a gentle person to help build her confidence at her own pace. Mornings with her are pure joy. When I open her pen, she dances and dances, so excited to start the day. She follows me into the kitchen and watches everything I do, and if I dance around, she happily dances right along with me. She loves to play fetch, and squeaky toys are her absolute favorite. She would be perfect for someone who likes to take their dog everywhere. If you work in a dog-friendly environment, she would happily go with you and be an excellent little companion. She would also be a wonderful match for someone who is home often and wants a tiny best friend to carry around, dress in cute sweaters, and shower with love. She is looking for a calm, loving home without a lot of noise or young children—just her person or couple who will be gentle, patient, and devoted to her. If you're in the market for a dog with the most soulful, kind eyes, look no further. Sweet Meredith may look like a cute senior pup, but she's actually only 3-4 years old! This 90lb girl spent a short amount of time in a foster home, (from Cleveland City Dogs), and her foster mom said she was a bit shy of the crate, but then ended being wonderful in the home anyways and didn't need the crate. She was house trained, and potty trained, and was chill in the house and a perfect guest that loved her foster mom very much. Fast forward to her present situation. She's been in a home where things are not quite working out, and we feel it was just not the right match for Meredith! Between school and work, Meredith is needing just a bit more than what is available for her. So we are going to try to find a new forever home for her!! We do not know how she will do with cats, and proper introductions will be required if other dogs are in the home. She was being worked on with leash training in her foster home.
