Story

Meet Olivia, she is a 3 to 4 year-old Yorkie, probably a mix. She loves to be held and to play. When she came into our group she was severely matted, but look at her now. This little 6 pound baby is tons of fun. She is doing well with the potty training. Once you get her on the schedule, she’s pretty much clockwork, unless it is pouring out then she prefers a piddle pad. Olivia can plug into most situations although small children might be too much for her. She is easily stepped on and loves to chew on your hands, we are working on that. She loves playing with other dogs and she tries to play with cats, but is sometimes too much for them, unless you have a very playful cat. This girl is definitely a lap dog. She is also working on walking on a leash, she prefers a stroller or your arms.

Story

Sweet Thunder buddy is the best puppy around! Hes a low energy “teenager” puppy(around 8-10 months old) that entertains himself with his bones or toys! He naps a lot on the couch and will sleep with you all night in bed! He is pretty much housebroken and attempts to wake you up when he has to go potty outside! He is very good on a leash, does not react to people, other dogs and only watches the neighborhood deer! He is excellent in the car, sits or lays and will chew on a bone if provided(he goes on a lot of rides with foster mom!) Very happy to meet all the people with a wag and sometimes jumps up but is coaxed down with the word off! He also knows how to sit with a hand signal! He gets along well with the kitties in his foster home! Doesn’t bother them too often but is easily redirected with words when he gets excited about annoying them 😅! He has attended events with other puppies and dogs and does seem to do well with them but may display some possession in the home! He is totally fine in the home as a single dog as he prefers to follow his person around! Thunder is not really a fan of a crate but does go into a very strong enforced crate when left home alone! He does not have accidents in the crate! He does also like when you walk outside with him so he can go potty! He is an all around fabulous dog that needs a bit more confidence and training (which is being worked on in foster care) and would be darn near perfect! She is a fan of her morning and evening walks, cuddle time with her humans, and play time with fetch or tug o war. She is great on a leash, off leash in the yard, or in the car where she enjoys taking in all of the scenery. Maggie may do best in a home where she gets all the love and attention.
