Story

Pillowcat is genuinely one of the sweetest, goofiest dogs I have ever met. She absolutely LOVES people and hasn’t met a human she didn’t immediately love. She wants all the cuddles and love, and all the food lol. She has also been wonderful with our children and their friends, as well as all of our adult friends. I also want to be completely transparent about why we are looking for a new home for her, so potential adopters have all of the information. Pillowcat and our other dog have unfortunately become a very volatile combination and have now had two fights. To be clear, both dogs participated in these escalations, and both dogs have been hurt. The reality is that these two dogs are not a good match for each other. Their personalities, energy levels, and communication styles are very different. Pillowcat is incredibly playful, energetic, and persistent and doesn’t always recognize when another dog is finished playing or needs space, and Mercat gets increasingly frustrated w/her.

Story

Ruxin is and always has been a great dog. He’s literally the definition of a companion. He has been through multiple moves, cities, etc with us and he has always adjusted well. We have two small kids (ages 3 and 1) and our youngest has severe allergies. A family member has been caring for him for the past few months but ultimately are unable to any longer. He is right around 13 y/o and does have a slower day here and there but overall you wouldn’t know. He has no existing health problems that I am aware of. UTD on his vaccines (just went this past weekend) and still has a lot of life left to live. He’s been around kids of multiple ages and has never shown a single sign of aggression. He previously walked on leash daily and did great but has been more exposed to roaming off leash over the past few year and loves that as well. He LOVES to be outside. He can be anxious at times, nothing that isn’t fixed with some extra attention and pets. He really just loves to be with people.

Meet Callan, a 3 year old Retriever mix. Callan is the most affectionate, loyal, old‑soul pup you’ll ever meet. He’s been my pride and joy since I adopted him at seven months old, and together we’ve gotten through some really tough times. He’s a happy‑go‑lucky boy with a gentle heart, a goofy spirit, and a deep love for his people.Callan is:• Wise, sweet, and emotionally intuitive• Spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated• Housetrained, crate trained, and leash trained• A loyal companion who bonds deeply with adultsCallan thrives in calm, adult‑only homes. He absolutely adores his Nonna and Papa and loves going on “vacations” with them. He’s extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle.Because of Cal’s impressive strength and reactive nature, he must be adopted into an adult only, pet free home. He does not thrive in an environment with children or other animals. He is devoted and wants nothing more than to bond deeply with his owners as the one and only.

Ellie is a rescue needing a special home. She requires someone with patience and willing to take time with her. She is about three and has a good 10 + years.Her issue is she is extremely shy.She is sweet once she trusts you . She requires a secure fence as if she gets loose she will run.I have not found that special place.She is not mean but kids make her very nervous.Her best friend is a little poodle i would love to adopt out together but doesnt have to.Must have veterinary reference or another substantial reference.I have tried to rehome her but she doesn’t care for men she is terrified of them . Absolutely must be returned if it doesnt work out NO EXCEPTIONS.Please do not apply if you do not meet the above requirements.Ellie has been spayed . She loves other dogs once she knows they won’t hurt her. She lives with seven dogs. I will keep her until the appropriate home comes along.

We love him to much to watch him not be his happy self. Maximus is:• Purebred white Shepherd and AKC registered• Off-leash trained• Housetrained and spayed/neutered• Great at meeting people• Good in group play at our boarderHe does well overall but gets anxious and has intermittently gotten possessive of items like a toy or food. This only started since baby was born. He is a sweet boy who just needs a place where he can run or someone willing to walk multiple times a day.All toys, harness, food and crate go with him
