Story
*hair blowing in the wind (even though she's indoors)* *unexplained sparkles in the air* *faint heavenly music* Yes, she is me. Chloe. Now that you are blinded by my beauty, let me explain why I am the absolute best girl on the inside too and so deserving of your (and everyone's) undivided adoration. I'm loyal, smart as a whip, and FUN, just to name a few. Unfortunately, I didn't come from the most glamorous beginnings. I was an outdoor doggy with not much interaction from birth and my family also left me behind when they moved. Thus, I wasn't really brought up interacting with you humans or being touched/handled. I've had my quirks while adjusting to being a family dog and will definitely need someone patient and understanding with me. (If you get too touchy right away, I don't like that and will try to protect myself.) However, if you are slow and gain my trust I will HANG on your every move. I have adjusted very quickly in the past with proper introductions to people. Even still, I would probably do best in a home without young children. I'm a lady after all and need time to sniff you out before you get grabby. I am an active girl and love to feel the wind in my hair outdoors too. I run with the speed of light and have a prey drive to sniff out bugs, lizards and more. I also love to play tug of war and fetch with my foster mommy inside. I bounce, bounce, bounce all the time! I am great on leash so walks and hikes would be great for me. Getting my energy out will help me focus on training too. I am very smart and learn quickly, but tend to lose interest if I'm still chock full of go, go, go!! With all of this perfection, all of your pet needs should be fulfilled, right? RIGHT? I hope so because I would do great as an only pet in the home. I have been able to co-exist with dogs at the rescue but I am a bit of a diva in my foster home. I have a domineering personality sometimes and will even mark like a male when I come across another dog's scent in my house. How dare they??? Existing? HERE? (She is otherwise house trained.) Considering that you and I know each other a little better now, you may pet me. Yes, I am very soft, I know. Please keep in mind that I am a Shepherd/Chow mix and have hair that will require brushing, maybe even the occasional spa treatment, Swedish massage, 24k gold facials...yeahhhhhhhhhh.... Sorry! I forgot you were here. In all seriousness, once I trust you, I will allow you to brush me out without much fuss. It doesn't need to be daily but I am a rough and tumble kinda gal and can use help keeping my locks flowing and free. I also shed A LOT so if I seem to be losing my girlish figure, it's probably just extra hair that needs to be brushed off. I hope you have a strong vacuum. ;) I could go on for days about myself, but I'll stop here. Don't wanna overwhelm you. If you think you are up for the challenge of a total spitfire like me, please feel free to send in an application and foster mommy can tell you more about all of the grandeur that is...CHLOE. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
"Learn from yesterday, live for today, look to tomorrow, rest this afternoon. My name is Charlie Brown and my old pal Snoopy told me that once a long time ago! SERIOUSLY! Charlie Brown, is REALLY my name and not because I wear the silly patterned shirt, but because that is my name! I harken back to a simpler time in the world. I am a gorgeous guy with a full head of hair and a twinkle in my eyes!! Could be just a naughty twinkle or could be a goofy twinkle- but it IS there!!! Also, I am a 4-year old, male, medium-sized (20-59lbs), Plott Hound/Shepherd mix looking for a family to call my own for this Holiday Season! I am crate trained and love taking naps or toys in my crate! I am devoted to your every word, every move, every mood. I will love you forever! But new people just make me nervous, I do get nippy/bitey with newbies, unless I know you! Silly, right? I have gotten lots and lots better, but you will need to understand and accept that I am not the kind of dog that you can run around the neighborhood meeting random strangers. I have a little stranger danger. I mean, we're all a little different right? Charlie Brown can only be adopted in Texas. Local adoption fee $200.00 (within Texas)

Story
Howdy there, my name is Hara, and it's a pleasure to meet you finally! I'm a 7-year old, female, medium-sized (20-59lbs), American Pitbull terrier looking for a forever home! I am what one might consider a seasoned veteran in being a doggy, I've done it all! I escaped a scary situation from my previous, mean owners, had a litter of puppies that are all grown and great, sleep soundly in my doggy bed, fetch and play with my toys, and so much more! I also like to run and play with my friends. We run ALOT and play and wrestle and tumble.... I would LOVE to have a dominant male dog to be my friend forever. I respond very well to a male dog who is in charge so my rescue mommy will try to find me that perfect doggy friend for me. Or I can be an only dog :) So versatile!! Since I'm an elderly lady I love exercise and activity but don't need too much of it, being a couch potato all day can be exhausting too! I'm a bit picky when it comes to people, so please be patient and calm when approaching me or getting to know me! We are all hoping I can get adopted soon, my life is on hold until I make the ULTIMATE jump to a real FUREVER HOME!!! *Hara can only be adopted in Texas.* Local adoption fee $200.00 (within Texas)

Story
Meet Anna JuM Kermit the frog says it ain't easy being green, but it's even harder being a black dog. And as if that wasn't enuff, it ain't easy being Anna either. Case in point. I'm sure y'all herd of a little ditty called Frozen right? It's a movie for human puppies, children, children is the word. There were two girl stars in that motion picture but who do all the lil human chicks wanna be for Howloween? Elsa. Elsa. Elsa. With her porcelain skin and shimmer turquoise gown. Whelp!!! What about Anna? She exists, she helped, she's brave. Notice the Annas of the world folks, you need us! I'm a lil lady dog, with a 30 pound body and I'll put every ounce of that dirty 30 into my 100 yard dashes when I black swan dive into your arms. I love hugs. Love 'em. I'm listed as part Corgi part Lab, but who knows! You don't have to be pure bread to be a silly loaf, you can be full of muttsterious ingredients and be a Wonder bread! I'm a favorite at rescue camp due to my go get 'em attitude. I willingly walk on leash and am crate trained. I have good recall and will sit for a hot dog, it's a wiggly sit but at least I'm trying to contain myself. I'm fun with other dogs. I keep up with the long legged big dogs when they gallop through the pasture, I don't let being a miniature pony throw salt on my game. Speaking of salt, let's throw some on the ice and melt away the frozen to make way for Anna banana the wonder bread dog. (from my friends, the rescuers... Anna is a great girl, once she knows and trusts you. She is best in a no children (at all) home. She gets nervous when leashing her as well but we have tricks for that ;) She has a vive for life that matches no other, but she does have her quirks. She needs to be met several times before taking her home ;) **Local Adoption Only Local in the State of Texas 200.00
