Meet Michael Woofle, an energetic and lovable 8-month-old Lab mix with the most irresistible personality! Weighing in at 30 pounds, Michael is the definition of a happy, goofy pup. He’s still working on mastering house training—he’s very close but has the occasional accident. However, he’s already crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, settling down in his crate during the day after a little initial scratching.Michael is a social butterfly who adores people, especially kids, though his excitement can sometimes come out as jumping or playful puppy nibbles. If there are kids in his future home, the kids will need to be at least 6 years old. He gets along well with other dogs and reacts with excited barks and jumps when meeting new canine friends! While he hasn’t been tested extensively with cats, he is very interested in chasing and playing with them, so a dog-savvy cat (and supervision) would be necessary.This playful pup is always on the move—he loves running, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and especially tossing his plush toys in the air. One of his most hilarious habits is diving off the couch or footstool after a ball like he’s cannonballing into a pool. Despite his high energy, he’s also incredibly smart and would thrive with continued training and structure. He prefers to be near his people and hasn’t shown much vocalization, except when he gets extra excited!Michael adjusted quickly to his foster home and is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a lot of tail wags to his forever family. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
