Meet Farrah! This sweet little Shih Tzu/terrier mix is a total heart-stealer. She’s affectionate, curious about everything around her, and happiest when she’s close to her person. Food and treats are definitely her love language, which makes bonding with her fun and training extra rewarding! Farrah has a gentle, soulful presence with just the right amount of spunk. She loves cuddles, brings plenty of smiles, and is ready to be someone’s loyal little shadow. She’s house trained, about 3 years old, and weighs 18 pounds—just the right size for lap time and adventures alike. Buttercup and her sister and brother, Bubbles and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 7 pounds and is probably full grown now. Buttercup is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little bossy but plays great with her brother and sister. we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them but would always want to be the boss. She would be fine with older children, and we are not sure about cats but the bossy part would be the same at first.
