Buttercup and her sister and brother, Bubbles and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 7 pounds and is probably full grown now. Buttercup is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little bossy but plays great with her brother and sister. we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them but would always want to be the boss. She would be fine with older children, and we are not sure about cats but the bossy part would be the same at first. History: Ramsey is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Ramsey is adjusting well to living with a family. He loves to play with squeaky toys. Lamb chop has become his favorite toy! He is working on potty training and is making great progress! He still wears a belly band when he is not in his kennel. Ramsey gets along well with our resident dog. He is still learning how to play gently because he gets so excited. It is unknown how he would get along with cats. Ramsey gets along well with the teens in our house. It is unknown how he would do with younger children. He is kenneled at night and when we leave the house and does well. He will whine in the middle of the night when he needs to go to the bathroom. Ramsey has really blossomed into a great dog since we have fostered him. He is looking forward to growing even more in his forever home!
