I was surrendered to the rescue because I had coccidia and my Previous Owner didn’t want to take care of me, although my rescuer was full and didn’t have space for me, No other organization wanted to take me because they didn’t want to bother paying for my treatment, so my rescuer stepped up and took me on. I recovered fairly quickly and since then I’ve been running the show! I can be very bossy when we play and I let these bigger dogs know that the new girl in town gets to hoard all of the toys. I’m a sweet little Frenchie mix, but I’m also a tornado of chaos lol I have a certain stride that exudes confidence and I’m great with other animals as you can tell by my pictures, I have a new affection for chickens. I also have a foster father who is a one eyed duck named Marvin and most nights. I prefer to cuddle and sleep with him. Other than that, I am potty trained on puppy pads I’m healthy Spunky and sweet. I get along great with other dogs and cats. I like birds but not the ones that bite and I can honestly make a bed out of anything. I’m not a difficult puppy I’m just full of personality and if you think I would make a great addition to your family. I was taken to a shelter in Shasta County and unfortunately, within a week I was placed on death row. My rescuer agreed to take a couple dogs from that shelter and I was one of the 15 that they dumped on her without her consent, but after looking into my eyes, she knew that I was destined for a better future and couldn’t bear the thought of Not taking me even though she had no space or resources for me. She decided to leave her home and rent a guest house for me and my siblings and friends from that shelter until she could find me a forever home. It has been one whole year since I’ve been in the rescue and everyone that I came with on that transport from that shelter has found their forever home except me I was rejected for the silliest reasons most recently someone didn’t like that my nose wasn’t completely black and that I had a white mark above my nose. I am a very loyal, sweet and dedicated dog and once I bond with you, I’m glued to your hip. I am a very active dog, but as long as you have a backyard or are willing to take me on at least two walks a day I’m perfectly fine. I am potty trained crate trained very well. Socialize with other dogs and children however, the rescue is on a ranch and I have developed a little bit of a prey drive with chickens and other small animals. If you have a wrap problem, I can correct it within a few days I understand commands in both English and Spanish and someone very kind decided to sponsor my adoption so my adoption is completely free to the family who decides to give me my final forever home. I’m a little on the smaller side and I am full grown and will not get any bigger 35 pounds is my peak weight but there’s so much loyalty and love wrapped up in the small package, so if you think I would make a great addition to your family, please contact my rescuer with the information directly above my story and schedule a day to come and meet me again. My adoption is sponsored so my adoption fee is waived and I am completely free, but you still have to sign an adoption contract before taking me home and taking the adoption picture to go on the adoption wall of fame. My brother and I were surrendered by our Previous Owners family. Unfortunately, they got deported and their family didn’t want to take care of us. I’ve spent most of my life outside, but I am potty trained since coming to the rescue. I’ve made a lot of new friends and I’m very social and very sweet. My rescuer thought it would be nice to hire someone who didn’t have much experience to give me a haircut so I’m looking a little funny right now, but when my hair grows back, I promise I’ll look like my original picture. She decided not to allow that person to shave my brother, but I am more social and outgoing and playful, and I would be great as an only dog or a companion for another dog. I’m pretty laid-back. I don’t have any bad habits, but I really love people I would fit almost any family dynamic whether you live in an apartment or a big house I would do great. I do understand most commands in Spanish, but I’m learning to understand English. I was named after my rescuers Primo and she has been dreading the day of listing me available for adoption because she has admittedly grown extremely attached to me.😣 I have been brought up with her personal dogs the last few weeks and I have shown so much obedience skill and recall she thinks I’d be a good service dog prospect. I’m learning commands in three different languages, English, Spanish and Japanese and when it came to getting my vaccines and other vetting, I was a perfect gentleman. I did not flinch or cry, even when getting microchipped, I didn’t have to be put to sleep or numbed for my microchip I just sat there and took it like a champ! 😁 I’ve been blessed to socialize with just about every animal you can think of ! Other dogs, cats, birds, rodents, ducks, chickens, turkeys, house goats, sheep, Quails, and many more. I am very sweet and very gentle with everyone. I love to play and although I’d do find alone, it is my rescuers dream for me to go to a home with other animals or children. I am incredibly social, but it’s not a dealbreaker if my forever family doesn’t have a companion for me, I’ve shown a lot of focus and attention to my rescuer when doing anything around the house or training other dogs so I would make a great emotional support or therapy Dog prospect I’m not going to be very big maybe 10 pounds when I’m full grown, but probably less than that but I have a very big personality despite my small size. This is the hardest part in rescue for the rescuer because getting attached doesn’t happen as often as you would think when you have done it as long as she has, but knowing I go to the absolute best home possible is her overall goal so please be ready to provide my rescuer with lots of information on you, your home life, and family/self and expect tears when you come meet me, I look forward to meeting you!
