I came from a horrible abuse situation. My rescuer was actually nervous about speaking to my Previous Owner given my condition so she had a trusted friend come with her to rescue me. It was speculated that I was going to be a sacrifice for Halloween (given the area I came from there had been reports over the last decade of animal sacrifices for Halloween and they were all black dogs or black cats) even though the likelihood of me surviving to Halloween was very unlikely. I was locked in a crate covered in my own urine and feces I had not eaten in days, my stomach was completely empty. Multiple people wanted to help me, but they were too scared to act the county refused to get involved. My rescuer spoke with my Previous Owner for a long time asking them to surrender me and finally they did. My rescuer understood that October is a dangerous time of year for black animals to roam the streets or find homes because people are often looking to use them for satanic rituals or sacrifices, most people don’t even look up at the trees to find black cats/dogs hanging but it’s horrible and evil and I barely escaped death being one of them. I was rushed to an emergency vet where I was given fluids and recovery so my stomach could handle the antibiotics and medication I desperately needed. Two different vets evaluated me, and said they did not have high hopes that I would survive the night and they didn’t have overnight staff to monitor me until the morning in case I crashed. They said they would come back and check on me in the morning and call if I survived. That wasn’t good enough for my rescuer so she opted to take me home and treat me herself, for many nights She did not sleep. Adjusting my fluids, providing me with the medication and nourishment I needed to keep fighting until the day came where I kept the weight I was gaining and my poop came out normal and we all celebrated! At my last health evaluation everybody was so excited to see me and couldn’t believe how much I had gained and how healthy I got everything came back clear and I was finally deemed healthy by the vet. I had a mini photo shoot with a couple staff members. but my rescuer wouldn’t let me give up because she knew I was destined to find a forever home that would love me and cherish me because I was so young, but didn’t let my horrible past Create a fear or hatred towards people. I still have to have coconut oil mixed in my food and put on my back so the hair can grow back thankfully that area where there is hair missing will not leave a permanent scar. I’m eating kibble every day three times a day and I am kept hydrated. I am very well socialized and I love being held and cradled and cuddled even though the month is still not over my rescuer doesn’t want to deny me an opportunity to find a loving family so I am available for adoption and I am approved for same-day adoption. My ideal family dynamic would be anyone who has love in their heart and is ready for a Velcro Dog who will love them for the rest of his life. I’m resilient and I am a fighter and I will patiently wait for my forever home to find me for I am no longer a spooky scary skeleton just a four legged angel waiting to go home❤️

My siblings and I were starved and left outside during a major heat wave left to die because my owner couldn’t afford to buy dog food and didn’t reach out to anyone for assistance. After intense veterinary care my siblings and I survived the worst of it and got a clean bill of health after a couple rounds of antibiotics and slowly helping us gain weight after not eating for a minimum of four days! I am a very sweet and gentle puppy, I absolutely love every animal I’ve been exposed to, and I’ve been exposed to a zoo lol I am very calm and I love to be cuddled. I would make a great first puppy for someone who wants a small companion who will remain small, I absolutely adore children and I’m very gentle with them, but I do get a little excited when I first meet someone new and I have something that my rescue mom likes to call wiggle but syndrome! I came to the rescue after multiple people reported my Previous Owner for neglect because he left me and my two siblings outside and a locked crate exposed to the elements without food or water for days and left to die when my rescuer came to offer to take my siblings, and I he informed her that he couldn’t afford Puppy food and didn’t know that there were resources available to help him. Find us a home however being under eight weeks of age, we were left outside no vaccines in the extreme heat wave with no food or water no mother in sight. He surrendered us without issue where we began going through emergency veterinary care thankfully we did not have Parvo just Gerardia and Coccidia, but with medication love time and slowly helping us gain our weight back. We got a clean bill of health from our Vet at the last Vet visit. I am a very Spunky Puppy. I’m very sweet and compassionate, but I love to play, I get along with absolutely everyone! I’m going to be a small puppy full grown maybe 10lbs and I would do well in any family dynamic. It’s not a requirement to have a companion for me. I can be a solo puppy and I would make a very good first dog for someone who has never had a puppy before as I’m not very needy and have a very independent personality. I eat three times a day and I go potty on puppy pads. I am fully vetted up to my appropriate age, and I am microchipped with Free online microchip registration. Sweet Girl Looking for Her Forever Home This beautiful girl is approximately 1 year and 6 months old. We found her as a stray and did our best to locate her family, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to find them. She is truly the sweetest girl. She is potty trained, kid-friendly, and great with both small and large dogs. She loves to cuddle, be close to her people, and would make a wonderful companion. She is definitely not an outside dog and does not enjoy being left outdoors. She is happiest inside with her family and does extremely well in the home. She is not destructive and has been very well-behaved indoors. She has such a sweet and loving personality and really just wants to be someone’s companion. We’re hoping to find her a responsible, loving forever home where she can live indoors, be part of the family, and receive all the love and attention she deserves.
