Story
My schedule has become very busy and I don’t have the time to take her out and give her the attention she needs I feel so bad to have to let her go but she deserves so much more attention. I would just like her to go to a good family home with someone who has enough time to take her on long walks and hikes.

Story
My Dad had surgery a little over 6 months ago and was unable to care for her since then. I’ve been housing her until we’re able to find a new proper home. My landlord doesn’t allow dogs but knows that it’s temporary. She’s house trained and uses the potty in my backyard. We also have a cat whom she gets along just fine with. I also have kids, my youngest being 7. She’s not aggressive at all and loves to play with her rubber ball and rope toy. She also loves belly rubs!

Story
Frankie has been our beloved dog for the past four years, and with love, hope, and heartbreak, we are searching for the right permanent home for him. We adopted him from a foster home after bonding with him over several visits and learning he had already been rehomed multiple times. Frankie experienced severe trauma as a puppy, including being mauled by another dog, which left him highly reactive and aggressive around unfamiliar dogs.We have provided him with a loving home and worked with multiple trainers over the years to manage his anxiety and behavior. While he has made progress, he still requires consistent structure and careful management. Since welcoming our baby girl two years ago, meeting Frankie’s needs has become increasingly difficult.Frankie is incredibly loving with people he trusts—joyful, goofy, athletic, and full of personality. We hope to find him a calm, experienced home where he can truly thrive and finally have the forever home he deserves.

Story
Chase | 6 year old mini Australian ShepherdLoyal, intelligent, and energetic, Chase thrives with structure and calm. He struggles with low impulse control and has a history of reactivity, including snapping when overstimulated. Needs an adult-only, low-traffic home with an experienced, patient handler. Not suitable for sitters, kids, or busy environments. Best as an only pet or with his brother Max. Fully house-trained, neutered, and loves enrichment games and routine. Seeking a home that understands complex dogs and can offer stability, safety, and ongoing behavioral support. He does wonderful with environment management and turns into the best dog in the world. At this point in my life I am unable to provide that structure for him, but I am happy to sit for since he already knows me and is comfortable with me.I am willing to do anything and everything to help him thrive in his new environment because he deserves it.Please contact me if you have ANY questions.

Story
Scrappy Doo is just as cute and sweet as you would expect a dog with that name to be. A little bit about Scrappy:We adopted him from the Pasadena Humane Center in June 2023. We were told at the time that he was about 3 years old; at the first check up with the vet they said he may be closer to 2. So he is somewhere in the range of 5-6 years old. He is generally a very chill and well behaved dog. We have never had any problems with him chewing on items in the house or soil the house at all. People often remark on how cute and chill he is. He can have separation anxiety. Although we initially adopted Scrappy because our son had been asking for a dog, they have not necessarily connected. Lately, Scrappy has been growling a bit at our son at times (no one else) and it is causing some anxiety for our son, so we have made the difficult decision that Scrappy probably needs to go to another home.
