Story

Monica is a very sweet but anxious girl. She is medicated for her anxiety. She loves people and cuddling but has boundary problems in the amount of attention that she needs. Monica struggles with other dogs. While not outright aggressive she needs to feel dominant and will do her best to dominate other dogs in the household. I adopted Monica in 2022. She was previously owned by an unhoused man for the first six months of her life. I've recently moved in with my girlfriend who has a small dog who Monica consistently seeks to dominate. I have spent literally thousands of dollars on training but cannot afford to spend any more. As a result she spends a fair portion of her time in her room (a second bedroom) alone. I want nothing more than a good life for her and feel that I cannot currently provide it. Its my goal to get her to a home with an experienced owner who can handle a dog of her needs. Thank you.

I am having to rehome him due to life changing events, had to downsize, needing to work multiple jobs to stay afloat. I rescued Basil from the South LA Animal Shelter when he was just 3 months old. He is so adorable and cute! He has a smile for days. He is a 1 years old German Shepherd Mastiff mix, a bit energetic, loves to lay in the grass, chew sticks, and curling up with you. He does have a little anxiety of being left behind, and he is fairly well trained. He can sit, stay, hand shaking, can boop your nose with his nose. He just needs a bit more training and patience. I would love for him to have a bit of a yard to run around. He is a good cuddler, loyal, loves to play, and just super sweet. He is good with other dogs (big or small). He has also had all his shots/vaccines, he is neutered, microchips, and all that fun jazz.

Story

We are looking for a loving home for Bleu. He’s a Husky / Blue Heeler mix and is loyal and friendly. We got him when he was a baby, he is 7 years old now but has the energy of a puppy. He loves to walk and hike, and run in fields. Our hearts are heavy as we give him away, but with a pregnancy and young child now in our family, we don’t have the time or energy to home him. He does well with smaller dogs, is skiddish with larger dogs (he was attacked by a German Shepard as a puppy) He is not aggressive, but the cattle / sheep dog in him will make him nip ankles if a person or child is running around in the yard. Therefore we don’t recommend adoption if you have a young child that likes to run in the yard. Bleu does tend to resource guard with food, so if there is another dog in the house or a young child please make sure he eats by himself. His shots are up to date and he is healthy. He is loving and loyal, has been trained on “sit”, “lay down”, “paw” and “stay”.

I’ve had a bit of a rough year as an Eaton Fire survivor and lost my home, but I’m ready for a fresh start with someone who gets me.I’m an 80-pound gentle giant — calm and sweet. I’m potty trained, never jump, and I’m super respectful when humans are eating. I`m great with all people including kids, and just want to be petted and loved. At first, I might be a little nervous, but give me some time and I’ll melt right into your lap for cuddles.I sleep through the night in my dog bed, and I’m a good boy when left home alone — no chewing or messes. I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog because I get a bit reactive around other pups. I’m a strong boy and sometimes pull on the leash while walking, so I need a confident adopter who can handle me.I love soaking up under the sun, I’m low maintenance, and all I really want is your love.
