Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Tonka is a young Pit that came to Pasadena Humane as a stray. As of this writing, his files show no information about his personality other than what his finder said and comments from our intake office. Those comments were that Tonka was calm and pleasant, easy to handle, and seemed to be quite friendly. If you look at his picture, one sees what appears to be a calm and friendly dog! His eyes are soft and his body is relaxed. Having now become available for adoption, it seems as if an adopter would have a wonderful dog. However, he is young and once relaxing in a new home, he may very well show a lot of energy and playfulness. The name Tonka translates to `highly praiseworthy`. . . meaning if you adopt Tonka, you would probably almost praise him!Learn more about our adoption process.

Story
If Truffles was making a playlist, the first 2 songs would be `Walking on Sunshine` by Katrina and The Waves and `Easy Like Sunday Morning` by Lionel Richie. She doesn’t believe in gloomy days and always has a smile on her face. Not only does she have a great attitude, but if you just feel like bumming around, that’s cool too because Truffles is an easygoing lady. Give her something that squeaks and she’ll make the best of any situation. Whoever brings this girl home is going to be sitting at the top of the charts indefinitely!I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial! If you are interested in giving me a test adoption run in your home, please book an adoption consultation.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Charlotte is a very shy and mega mellow sweet girl. New places worry her, but she`s always up to meeting new people. She has gone to two community adoption events and has done well both times. While she is nervous over going to a new location, volunteers cuddle her and give her treats and she relaxes and enjoys the petting. She will curl up in you lap and give you kisses on and off. At six years old, she qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors Program. This means if an adopter is sixty years old or more, then her adoption is Free! Charlotte does have a slight hip problem, but her loving cuddliness more than makes up for long walks.Learn more about our adoption process.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Arthur is an outgoing and affectionate Shepherd. He quickly becomes everyone’s best friend and will amble around to everyone in the room to get pets and treats. He’s a people-pleaser, so even the mailman is his buddy! This smart boy knows quite a few tricks already and seems eager to learn more. He is very food-motivated, so additional training should be easy. Arthur is not a fan of other dogs. He doesn’t want to share the attention, and who can blame him? When you’re the nicest dog around, who needs anyone else trying to steal your thunder? This handsome guy is a young six years old which qualifies him for our Seniors for Seniors Program. This means if the adopter is a young sixty years old or more, then the adoption is totally Free! *This dog is over 40 lbs so he qualifies as a `large dog` for appointments and promotions I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial! If you are interested in giving me a test adoption run in your home, please book an adoption consultation.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Neko! If Neko ran the world, things would look very different than the way they are now. Everyone would move just a little slower, taking time to smell the roses instead of hurrying from one task to the next. Life would also be a lot quieter: no loud barking or blaring car horns for her, thank-you-very-much. If Neko ruled the world, she would also prefer to be the only `child` (human or fur-), but who wouldn`t want to be the center of attention if they had this sort of power? Unfortunately, Neko doesn`t run things around here, but she is okay with that. All she asks for is a little patience, gentle-ness, and love. Book an adoption appointment today to find out if you and Neko could one day rule the world together (or... snuggle up on the couch together)! I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial! If you are interested in giving me a test adoption run in your home, please book an adoption consultation.
