FOSTER NEEDED! Garrett - this big, young man is sweet and strong, around 2 years old. We think he has boxer, hound (long legs) and probably some pit in him but a dominate breed impacted his height. He is tall and strong. He is playful with other dogs, rough houses with dogs his own size but tones down his behavior with puppies. He is nuts about playing with his empty metal bowl and now a big white bucket. He also loves stuffed toys but destroys them along the way.  He is currently in a foster home for a rescue in Tennessee with several humans, lots of dogs and pups and cats.   If you can foster this gorgeous boy, please email   nicole.foreverhomerescue@gmail.com   for information regarding fostering.  Foster to adopt available and while the dog or pup is in foster- medical care is provided.  Click this link:   https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog   He is neutered, heartworm -, on simparica trio,  crate trained. Story
Linus is a sweet little guy who  definitely  has   had a harder life before coming to PA.  He comes from a shelter in West Virginia where he spent nearly 2  years  and we suspect shelter life was a tad hard on him.   Linus is slowly coming out of his  shell  and you can tell he’s excited for another chance!    Linus LOVES other dogs and gains confidence from being around them.  We strongly believe it would be best for him to be in a forever home with at least one other canine friend.   Most times, you’ll find him snuggled up with our other dogs – he truly seems to find comfort from them.   He also enjoys his walks and does incredibly well on the leash.  For a small dog – he’s about 10lbs -he’s very quiet and there’s not much he reacts to. It should be said that given his extensive shelter stay and unknown history before that, Linus is  a bit scared and skittish .   He probably should not go to a forever home with small children.  Linus  tends to be  initially afraid  of people and it’s not his favorite to be pet or cuddled  by new people .   Something that could  definitely change  with time and treats!    Linus is extremely food motivated and a good eater.   Linus is a  10 year old sweetheart  who needs a soft place to land in a home with other dogs and older children.  He could also live with a cat as he seems to be intimidated by ours. Story
Meet Willow!  Don’t let this shy, freckle-faced beauty fool you—underneath her gentle demeanor is a heart full of loyalty and love. Once she bonds with you, Willow becomes your biggest fan and sweetest companion. At just 10 weeks old, Willow is still learning about the world, so she may be a little reserved at first. But give her a little time (and a few treats!), and she’ll be running, playing, and snuggling like she’s known you forever. Whether it’s curling up in a cozy dog bed with a favorite chew (like an antler or a stuffed Kong) or showering you with affection, Willow knows how to enjoy the simple things in life. She’s doing wonderfully with both crate training and house training, setting her up to be a well-mannered pup as she grows. If you're looking for a loving, loyal cuddle buddy who will adore you endlessly—Willow is your girl ! Willow and Wonder are part of the litter that was being sold on the street in West Chester during Labor Day Weekend.  All but two were rescued.   Click this link to apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog  September 27, 2025, 9:03 am

Story
COURTESY POST:  Maggie is a sweet dog who loves spending her days lounging around or going for short walks. She is a laid back girl who is happy to lay out back or post up on a couch in the sunlight all day long. Maggie is quite the hunter and mouser so if you have a mouse issue and are not interested in owning a cat Maggie, will handle the mice for you.   She walks perfectly on a leash and says hi well to other dogs. She is however dog selective within her own house and would do best with a confident dog or another dog who is also laid back.   Maggie is a people dog. She loves every person she meets and knows no strangers. She is fully house broken and has no interest in chewing anything up.   She is 8 and she is truly a mixed breed. We have no idea mix of what, but we have been told by the vet and trainer she is likely a cattle dog mixed with a hound.   If you are interested in Maggie please contact Haley at 6103315394 (tel:6103315394) .March 6, 2025, 10:24 am
