Story
Chico's owner passed away recently. He had been with him from a puppy. He is probably at least ten years old. We have several dogs and Chico is so small he can't hold his own. He is not willing to share his food, but otherwise he is not agressive.

Story
Hey there, I’m Charlie—a 6-month-old black Lab mix with a goofy grin and a heart full of sunshine. I weigh 35 pounds, I’m neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I’m a medium-sized guy who’s just about done growing, and yes, I’m easy to scoop up if needed. I’ve got that classic Labrador personality—playful, sweet, and always up for a splash. I love water, walks, and watching TV with my people. After a good romp, you’ll find me belly-up, snoozing like a champ. I picked up house training quickly and do great with a consistent schedule. I sleep in the bedroom at night, usually at the foot of the bed, but I’m crate trained and totally fine going back to it if needed. I get along with everyone—big dogs, little dogs, cats—and I know how to adjust my play style depending on who I’m with. I haven’t met any kids yet, but I’m gentle and kind, so I think I’d be a great fit. I’m about 90% trained and just need to learn your house rules. I’m easygoing, food-loving, and full of charm. I’m in Myrtle Beach, SC, but I can be transported to the right home (transport fees may apply). If you’re looking for a playful, gentle buddy who’ll keep you laughing and snuggling, I’m ready to be your best friend.

Story
Hi, I’m Jetta, a gorgeous and sassy pit bull mix. Do you like my ears? I like to wear one up and the other down. It’s just my style! I’m 45 pounds and black and white in color. I’m looking for my forever home where I can be your loyal and fun companion. I’m a vivacious and playful girl who has good energy and loves going on runs, long hikes, and is always ready for the next adventure. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I’m healthy and happy. I’m great with humans of all ages, but I prefer to be the only dog in the home so that all the attention is on me. I love to be spoiled rotten and constantly showered with affection. I’m a special girl who has a lot of sass inside my compact little body. I’m happy doing whatever my humans are doing and always want to be a part of the action. I have a strong prey drive, so no small animals for me and a 6 ft fence or apartment life is a must. I’m a wonderful dog who is one of the most loving dogs you will ever meet. I am ready for a home of my own where I can be everything to my new family. I’m currently being fostered in Hampton Roads, VA but can be transported out of state for the right home. If you’re looking for a loyal and fun companion, I’m your girl. Please fill out an application and my rescue will be in touch. I can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Hi, I’m Mona—and yes, I’ve been told I have a smile that could rival the famous painting. But unlike my namesake, there’s nothing mysterious about me: I’m an open book of love, loyalty, and a little bit of mischief. At just 2 years old, I’m a Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart that beats for my people. I’m what they call a “Velcro dog”—where you go, I go. Whether it’s a walk around the block (which I love!) or just lounging nearby, I’m happiest when I’m close. I weigh in at a sturdy 34 pounds, and I’m spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find my forever home. I do best with older kids who understand that I like my space respected sometimes. Other dogs? Not really my scene—unless they’re calm, older, and don’t mind my independent streak. I’ve got a playful side too, and every now and then I’ll sneak off with one of the kids’ toys (oops!). So having some chew toys of my own is a must—I promise I’ll put them to good use. I’m currently in Charlotte, NC but don’t let distance stop you. For the right home, I can be transported—just keep in mind there may be a transport fee if volunteer transport cannot be found. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a charming grin and a heart full of devotion, I might just be your Mona. Let’s make some magic together.
