Story
Meet, Bella!  This sweet girl is a special girl who needs someone patient and who can help her gain confidence in the world around her. Someone that will allow her to adjust at her own pace and not push her .  She has been around other dogs and cats in her foster home. She would greatly benefit from a well balanced, calm sibling that can help her feel more secure in her new home.  Bella is almost potty trained and will need a regular schedule to keep her on track. She gets anxious when her people are not with her, and she will sing the song of her people quite loudly, so no attached style living for this girl. She would prefer a home where her person/people are home more often than not. Since she can be unsure, she is not a candidate for a home with children under the age of 12.   She loves to go for car rides and doesn’t want to be left out, but she is wary of strangers - we are too!  We know the perfect home is out there for this girl! Kaycee is young lady at about 6 months old and roughly 7 lbs .  She is full of life and energy and has eyes that will stare deep into your soul. She is really working on her manners in her foster home and going back to the basics on puppy training. Kaycee is really quick to learn and is super treat motivated.  Kaycee will need a chihuahua savvy owner and someone willing to stick to a routine and continue with her basic training. She will warm up to her new people quickly but strangers take her a minute or two. She is working on her confidence building and will need to be given some patience, support and guidance. She has been around other bigger dogs and a cat in her foster home and gets along well with all. She really wants to play with everyone so a playful cat or dog would be great for her. If there is another dog in the home they will need to be her same size or bigger than she is, as well as confident.  While Kaycee is managing being on a leash, she would really prefer not to go out on walks in the big world yet. Strangers and barking dogs make her nervous outside of her home. She will need a secure fenced yard. In her future home, she will need to  be fed in a crate, away from other pets .   She must continue her basic training and confidence building.  Kaycee is not house broken but she is doing really well on a schedule. She is crated when her foster parents leave during the day and at night and doesn’t have accidents in her crate.  Kaycee is a great little pup and will be a great companion for anyone who is willing to stick to her training and work through her confidence building.  July 18, 2024, 4:47 pm

This adorable little girl is having a much better go at life after being pulled from the shelter and getting to her loving foster family. Twinkles had a setback when coming into our rescue and had to have her eye removed due to an old injury prior to coming to us. Since having her eye removed she has really started to let her true pain-free personality shine through. Even with one eye, she is still the most adorable little girl. She does well with other dogs and cats in her foster home. She is kind of the queen and likes to rest near her foster parents. She isn’t much for cuddles but she does want to be wherever you are. She will bark happily to tell you how excited she is to see you when you arrive home daily!   Twinkles is working on potty training, and while her foster mom is working really hard with her, she isn’t there yet. She will need a strict potty schedule and to be let out often to prevent accidents inside. She loves to play with her foster siblings and enjoys sunning herself in the Florida sunshine. I mean, who doesn’t! Twinkles will make an amazing companion for someone willing to give her all the love and attention she desires. Twinkles is roughly 4.5 yrs old and being fostered in Myakka, FL. Her adoption fee is $400. July 18, 2024, 4:47 pm
