Story
Meet Sam, a resilient and deeply affectionate 4-year-old tripod dog. After spending his first 200 days in a shelter, Sam has spent the last year becoming a master of "nose-bops" and gentle nudges to show his love. He is a smart, potty-trained boy who knows his commands and boasts excellent recall on our property. While Sam is fantastic with chickens, ducks, and rabbits, he is a natural "alpha" and needs a home where he is either the only dog or paired with a submissive companion. Sam is great with kids of all ages! We are making the heartbreaking decision to rehome him only to ensure the peace and safety of our senior dog. Sammy is a loyal, special soul ready for his next great adventure.

Story
I’m looking to rehome my puppy, Winston. He’s very sweet, and well behaved, he’s just a little too energetic and rambunctious for my tiny elderly Yorkies. I’m not looking for any money, I just want him to go to a good home. He is potty trained, but he has a surprisingly small bladder for such a big dog, so you’ll need to be willing to walk him quite often. With him, I’ll bring all of his necessities (dog bowls, food container, bed, cage, toys). however, he does not do well in a cage. He will rub his nose raw against the bars if he’s left there alone. He is a big cuddle bug, and is loyal once he learns to love you. I need to find him home by next Monday at the latest.

Story
I got Ro-Nan for emotional support as a single-bachelor after my mom passed from Cancer. His name is a combination of my favorite book in the Bible, Romans, and my mom's name, Nan. Pronounced Ro-nin, he answers to that, and Roro. I just had a baby daughter and adopted an 8 and 6 year old, and Ro has not adjusted well to the change. He will make an excellent addition to any home that has older children and attentive and loving caregivers. He is high energy and extremely loyal and intelligent. Ro is crate and house trained. He has been spending more time in the crate since the baby was born, so increasing time at home in hour outside the crate in hour increments would help him remember his home-alone skills more smoothly.

Story
Knight is a 5 month old Pit-Bull/ Husky mix. We do not have enough time to properly train him and give him the attention he needs. He is very energetic and playful, he is well with other dogs and children. He is a very quiet dog while freely roaming, but he is noisy while being contained in a cage while alone. He is not yet potty trained, but the only time he using the bathroom in the house is when he is in the cage. His current biggest concern, is that he is very protective/ aggressive with his food against other dogs and people.

She is driven to be near her family and travels well in a vehicle. She gets along with cats and will get along with other dogs after appropriate socialization. She is currently up-to-date on all of her vaccines with a clean bill of healt. Must rehome due to unexpected military orders.

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Reyna is only 7 months old about to be 8 months on the 19th. She is deaf and is not very responsive to words but vibrations do get her attention. She is very playful but is very nippy when it comes to playing. She does have mild food aggression when she finds food she will try her best to keep it and stay away from you but may bite if your hands are in close contact with her face. She definitely needs lots of time and love, and would benefit from being trained. She's a lot of work but still a great puppy. Would prefer someone in the Newport News and Hampton Va area.If you are interested you can contact me at 757-782-0763
