My name is Bane. I am three years old and my Dad got sick and couldn't take care of me anymore. I am a smart loving curious boy. I need a loving patient alpha to help become the good dog i want be. I spent a lot of time alone in the woods sometimes with my dad sometimes without. I need a fenced yard and lots of exercise. Maybe a farm and boy. Bane has been thru a lot of changes the last few months and needs time and stability. Please make sure you have the time and energy for this guy. He needs lots of love and he has so much love to give back.

Lyla is a 35 pound, high energy, ball focused bundle of fun! Best guess...about 3.5 years old. She is potty trained, leash trained and follows basic commands. She loves to cuddle (once ball time is over...). She will stay close off leash while I work in the yard.She may chase a cat but hasn't hurt one here... and there's 3! She's met quite a few dogs here and gets along fine.History: her previous owner had no where to live with her and had fostered her with us in a temporary attempt to find a place. He adopted her from the Humane Society in New York. We conjecture that she was a breeding dog in a puppy mill previously.My vet says she's healthy and we restarted her shot panel. Up to date on Rabies.We have 2 big dogs and 3 cats already. We've provided foster care for 4 months. She really deserves her own home with a human all her own that she'll adore! Bonus if you like to go running or hiking!Come meet Lyla!We are in Mount Vernon. Happy to meet partway!

Story

She was rescued from a shelter a couple months ago, which she was at for a while. She is a loving dog with lots of energy, which is why she needs a family who will be home more often. She does really well with dogs and can do well with cats, she is currently living with two. She jumps when excited but we have been working on getting her to stay down, so older children would be recommended. She walks really well and would be an amazing hiking companion. I am rehoming her because she needs someone to be at home more often and needs a yard with a taller fence. She is an escape artist.

He adores cuddles and will raise his paw to indicate he wants a hug. He's extremely relaxed, loving and gentle with his people. He loves attention and is amazing at the vet and groomer. He is very friendly and well behaved in stores, offices, hotels, and other social situations. He's done great in a house with cats and older kids. He loves car rides and looking out the window. He is very affectionate and a big napper - he will happily sleep at your feet all day if you work from home or are sitting on the couch. Danny came from a county shelter in southern California. We are so happy to get him out of the overcrowded conditions there so he can find his furever home. He was found near a golf course and we don't know about his prior living situation, other than that he was already microchipped and named Danny. Favorites: Adores snuggles and tummy rubs. Loves having his face/cheeks rubbed. Not an early morning doggo. Loves having a small toy tossed in the air for him to catch. Danny is overjoyed when he sees his leash. He loves sitting in front of a fan, his stuffed toys, and nesting in blankets. He loves to sniff on walks and to sit outside in the sunshine. Food: Danny currently eats Nutri Source chicken and rice recipe (canned and dry food mixed). He loves Fruitables Skinny Minis Apple Bacon treats and Bocce's Bakery Dailies Brushy Bites. Training: Danny would benefit from professional training classes. We are working on his leash manners and his manners meeting other dogs - he gets very excited and likes to go up to new friends immediately. We are working on various commands and on staying at the front door when it's opened. He is eager to please! Crate training is in progress - he settles in his crate when he hears a comforting voice (in person or over a camera) but it is not his favorite place to sleep yet. Danny doesn't respond very well to his name, but he responds well to a whistle or other vocal signal. Fully house trained, he hasn't had any accidents. He goes to the back door when he needs to potty (up to 4 times per day). He will let you know if someone is at the door, but he will be quiet and settle if instructed to. He needs a fenced yard or to be on a leash when outside. Danny is 5 years old and weighs 42 pounds.
