Story
Meet Guinness – our sensitive, soulful 7-month-old Rottweiler mix with a heart as big as his paws. Guinness is still just a puppy, but the busy shelter environment has been a little overwhelming for him. The loud noises, unfamiliar smells, and constant activity can feel scary to a young dog who’s still learning about the world. Because of this, he may seem shy at first — but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see the sweet, gentle boy he truly is. What helps Guinness shine? Confident dog friends and kind, steady people. He takes wonderful comfort in the presence of another calm, self-assured dog who can show him that the world isn’t such a scary place. With a canine buddy by his side, his tail comes up, his curiosity kicks in, and his playful puppy spirit starts to sparkle. He looks to his people the same way — gentle reassurance, soft voices, and patient encouragement go a long way in helping him feel safe. At just 7 months old, Guinness is at the perfect age to continue building confidence and learning new things. With positive reinforcement, consistency, and love, he has all the potential to grow into a loyal, devoted companion.

He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated! His adoption fee is $150. Dibley is a happy go lucky boy whose favorite activities revolve around fun and adventure! He absolutely adores going for walks, especially when those walks take him through the exciting sights and smells of the woods. He is a social butterfly at heart and thrives in the company of other dogs, preferring the kind of rowdy, full-speed play sessions that leave everyone smiling and panting! While he loves his playtime, Dibley’s true passion is you!! He loves being the center of attention and will shower his forever family with affection and enthusiasm. He’s looking for an active household that can match his zest for life and provide plenty of opportunities for play, exercise, and love. If you are ready for a playful companion who believes every day should be the best day ever, apply for Dibley today! When people meet Dibley at the kennel front he often feels trapped and scared, but Dibley loves to meet people outside of his kennel and is friendly with all strangers when he is out and about. Scheduling a meet and greet in our play-yard is the best way to see Dibley's personality. The shelter is a big scary place, take a chance on this wonderful dog!
