Story
Talia was rescued from a property along with her three puppies when neighbors noticed the structure protecting them had collapsed. The owner relinquished them to us when the pups were about 6 weeks old. The has been a fantastic first time mom to her three and adopting the other puppies in the rescue as well. She is a gentle spirit who is looking for a bit of adventure, but really just wants a person to call her own. She was very quick to train due to her food motivation and eagerness to please. She is a playful, yet controlled, teacher. Due to the fact she was left to forage for food before coming to us, we recommend no small animals unless it's an experiences home who can patiently take the time to do so.

Story
Adrianna came to us at 6 weeks old with her mama and two siblings. She quickly was given the nickname Batgirl, not only for her amazing ears, but her climbing and jumping abilities. She is the trailblazer in the litter with unstoppable confidence. She loves to play, but also can be found sitting quietly and observing her people. Watching us cook dinner is one of her favorite things to do. She is an adventurous and independent, but also loves snuggling up to her mama and siblings.

Story
Nev is an intelligent, beautiful girl who we believe will be a wonderful companion to someone who decides to share their life with her. When Nev first arrived at the shelter she was reserved at first, but once the initial shock wore off she has proven to form strong bonds and shows sweet affection with our staff and walkers. She is good with other dogs, though selective with some of the smaller dogs. She communicates very well and has been a great assistant to us in helping our younger, less socialized pups learn the ropes of being a dog. She’s shared her kennel with a few puppies to whom she shows affection and nice mothering. Nev does have some prey drive which comes out when she sees bunnies or birds. She is working on taking correction through re-direction or “leave it” and is coming along well on this front. Come meet this lovely “friend to be”.

Story
New Socks is a 60lb neutered male Mastiff mix. He`s a friendly, active dog who lives to play fetch with you. He`s got such style in his ball game. You throw, he races off, retrieves the ball and then returns and places it directly at your feet. Then, being a gentleman he lays down, tilts his head to the right (always the right) and looks at you with a grin as if to say, READY. It`s a cute look, and he`s got these little white freckles on his face! Yep, you`ll soon be entranced, He`s easy on leash, particularly if you let him carry his ball. He`s at ease around other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in the house.

Story
This guy is a fun, handsome boy. Barkley will always have a nice big smile to greet you and that tail will definitely be a-waggin. He already knows his basic commands, tho a bit of encouragement (aka treat bribes) seems to help him remember exactly what is expected of him. He’s easy on a walk, an occasional pull, but he’s responsive to correction and makes for very companionable sniff walks. We’ve not had the opportunity to do many parallel walks with Barkley just yet, but he responds nicely to seeing other dogs, and moves to play bows, inviting and fun. Come on in and meet this smiley guy!

Story
Nalah is quite the sweet gal who will need a bit of patience upon first getting to know you. She’s pretty shy in the kennel environment, but just taking things slowly and a promise of a walk makes for an easy leashing up. She very much enjoys being outdoors and relaxes. After just our first outing she put her brave face on and was initiating engagement and getting pets, while remaining just a bit shy. She responded to calls to come and “go for a walk” and leashes back up and liked getting to know her surroundings. There’s a really sweet dog in this nervous gal…come help her find that easy balance and someone to love.
