Story
Meena was surrendered to us because her family did not have enough time for her and she spent a lot of her time in the backyard. Meena was very scared upon arrival but it didn't take long for her to warm up. She has met with a family with children and did good. She is treat motivated and will sit for a treat. She is still a puppy and could benefit from some training. She is eager to learn! Please educate yourself on the breed. If you have any questions about Meena, contact the staff at 360-757-0445

Story
This gem of a dog enjoys a game of soccer, tummy rubs, and spending time in the sunshine. We are not sure of her history, but she did come in with her nine puppies. We currently have her paired with a young dog to teach him good manners. She is skittish but nice. Once she warms up to new people she is fun to play with. She does not like coming back inside. She will need a fully fenced yard to spend time in off-leash. We do not know her history with cats or other adult dogs. However while she has been with us she has been kenneled with multiple other dogs. She was adopted from us once but returned due to wanting to chase a relative's cat. Rose would be great in a home with other dogs but not cats. She loves good food and companionship.

Story
This spunky girl needs a home with a really high fence and no cats. She can be cautious when meeting new people but does warm up. She is not leash trained yet, but we will start working on that. She does know sit, and stay is a work in progress. She is young, eager, curious, stubborn, and ready to learn how to be a house dog. She wants to be friends with other dogs, but her energy can overwhelm others so careful indroductions are required. She is a medium sized girl that is fully grown. She would make a great running partner or perhaps mountain bike runner. She does have a habbit of wandering if given the chance.

Story
This little girl is very energetic. She enjoys playing fetch. She did not get a good start in life which showed us she was not well-socialized, so she can take a bit to warm up to new people and situations. We had her in foster to help her calm down and that did wonders. She requires a fully fenced yard. She shows a little too much interest in small critters and cats. She will need to be leashed at all times (outside), for the first few months until a strong bond is made with her new family. She has been around older children and does well. She is not fully potty trained, but is getting closer. She is a young adult and very nice size, we feel she can be a Catahoula Hound/Blue Heeler/Kelpie/Husky mix maybe? Her Foster Mom had this to say about her;I never did let her off the leash but I would use one of those retractable ones so she would think she was loose and when she would think about chasing the bunnies, I would just say, "Myla no" and she would put her focus back on me l. She was fine with the pigs but when she thought it was going to get me she put herself between me and the pig like she was ready to protect me if something happened, I just said, "Myla no" and she was fine. As far as other dogs we didn't get that far. My mom's dog would come to our sliding glass door and she would just start shaking not acting aggressive just scared. I did let her go up to the puppies next to her kennel at the shelter and she sniffed them then lost interest and walked away. I don't think she would be hard to get used to another dog as long as it was calm and was done slowly like on a walk or something. In the house she listened really well. Idk about cats but I think anything that runs would be a game to her. She's obsessed with playing fetch as long as you have two balls she doesn't like to put the first one down till she sees you ready to throw the next ball. She likes to cuddle and likes kids we had ten kids at the house that were my son's age and under (9 years and less) and she was having a blast. She comes sits stays and shakes - So she does have some good recall. This is their experience.

Story
Gabby is a young Pit mix that is energetic and loving. She eager to learn and has caught on fairly well to leash training. She loves playing fetch and running full speed in the play yard like a spaz. Its very entertaining to watch. She would benefit from obedience classes to help her reign in some of that fabulous energy. When she calms down, she believes that a lap is where she belongs. She does know how to sit. And enjoys treats.

Story
This little macho dog prefers to be in the lap of luxury. He can be timid around new people, but does well when given a moment to adjust. He may not be a good match for children and a meet and greet with another dog would be required. We are not sure of his experience with other animals. He was brought in as a stray. He yodels and sings when left alone for too long so apartment life may not be the best for him. He prefers to potty inside when the weather is poor. He also prefers to walk on his own and to not be carried or picked up. He has an image to uphold.
