Story
Brody is 7 years old. He is healthy and up to date. 80 pounds. He is a lab mix adopted from a shelter when he was 6mo old. He is well behaved and trained. He shows occasional signs of aggression (barking and showing teeth) particularly where he is territorial (home and in the car). He has never bitten anyone but times where I’ve been concerned he might. But he loves his people, loves being outside, and settling into his age a bit. He can still handle a 10+ mile hike though! Considering replacement to a good home due to some life circumstances. He’s typically adjusted well when he goes to a friends home for days or weeks at a time.

Story
Hiya! Burt here! I've come up from Georgia and I'm finally ready to do some meet and greets :) Myself, my brother Ben and our sister were all surrendered by our original owner; sadly, they weren't able to find us homes in the South. My sister went off to another rescue but my brother Ben and I are here, and are sweet as peach pie! I'm a little anxious but I show it in a different kind of way called fawning or fidgeting. I like to be as close as possible to you, I tend to whimper quite a bit, and give subtle calming signals like paw raising and yawning. My trainer here thinks it would be best if I could get into a force free puppy training course. If you're looking for a kind, loving, lap puppy, send an application in and let's meet!Burt is available to meet by appointment. To submit an application for Burt, go to capeannanimalaid.org/adopt

Story
Meet Shane! Shane is a handsome 4 month old retriever mix pup! Shane made his way to us here at the CAAA from TX with with 6 siblings! It's hard to believe Shane is still looking for his forever! Shane is super sweet and has so much love to share! Shane was lucky to spend some time in a foster home and he caught on rather quickly to the routine, and befriended the family dog and could often be found snuggling! Shane was doing a great job, working on his house breaking. Shane is egar to please and very food motivated so with consistency, he should catch on rather quickly. Shane is a big pup, it's adorable to watch him walk as he is still gaining his coordination! This whole litter is sweet, goofy and playful, Shane would make a great addition to most any house hold! One of Shane's favorite past times is romping around outdoors with his friends or going for leash walks and taking in the scenery, he has done well in the car and would make a great adventure buddy! If you are looking for a new best friend and snuggle buddy, consider adopting Shane today! Submit an application for Sevie by going to capeannanimalaid.org/adopt
