Story
**Percy has a best friend we also have to rehome. If they could go together, it would be ideal. Check out Patches' listing and let us know if you're interested in both so we can discount the rehoming fee.** Beautiful, sweet girl, approx age 6. Housebroken, mild mannered, typical Dane. Loves snuggles, carrots, and celery more than anything else. Extraordinarily well behaved but can be barky if in a busy apartment. Reason for rehoming: After we'd had these beautiful girls for a five years, I was promoted to a position that keeps me away from home 12-14 hrs, travel 6-8 times per year, and I have emergency response duties on top of that. With my son leaving for college, I can't keep the girls home alone that much and I can't afford day care.

Story
Patches is about 5, a total sweetheart, a lean-hugger, and very mellow. She is great on leash, knows some basic commands, likes going everywhere. Prefers to be a lap dog. Transition will be stressful for her because she's very attached to me. The only reason we are removing is that my job keeps me out of the house 10+ hrs a day now and my son is heading to college soon. We were planning to rehome in June, but the landlord just jacked up rent beginning Dec 1 so we are now moving too.

Story
Meet Winter (Winnie for short)! This 2-year old petite and unique red-merle beauty came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray. You can’t miss Winnie’s icicle eyes. In fact, she is vision impaired and we are awaiting her visit to the ophthalmologist to determine if there is anything we can do to make her more comfortable. Despite her limited vision, Winnie navigates the world with an endearing curiosity, using her other senses, like that perfect pink little nose, to take it all in. ♥ Despite her polar beauty, Winter has the warmest heart! In fact, with Winnie, you won’t mind the snow, the frigid temperatures, or the short days and long nights…just grab a fluffy blanket to settle in for a cuddle sesh! Because Winnie uses her mouth to feel out her environment, older or no kids would be best for this special girl. Winter’s top 3 priorities: 1. A family who is willing to create consistent spaces and routines to make Winnie feel at home. 2. A family who is patient and kind and will allow Winnie to take her time really learning how to “dog”. 3. A family who wants to cuddle and who doesn’t mind being the big spoon. Story
Meet Frannie! This 5-year old itty-bitty-pittie came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray with an 11-lb fatty tumor on her chest. She initially had a blanket tied around her to hold the mass off the ground. This innocent peanut has had the patience of a saint while the humans around her rallied to support her and schedule multiple surgeries to remove this mass and we are thrilled to announce is a BRAND-NEW woman. We know, ‘cause she’s been shouting it from the rooftops as she runs around with a newfound agility. The mass is gone and she’s ready to find her happily-ever-after! Frannie is, well, mini. But what she lacks in size (she is a petite 38 lbs), she makes up for in larger-than-life affection and super playful personality. She is a loveable baby llama of sorts, out-running her pittie foster siblings in the yard in all her pocket-sized splendor. Frannie calmly ignores the feline foster siblings in the house and is an absolute sweetheart who delightfully follows her humans, craving human connection the most. And Frannie is one pretty lady! She has a stunning and velvety tuxedo coat and gorgeously inquisitive and luminously intelligent eyes. And those little teeth! But more importantly, she is filled to the brim with love and affection, sweet to nearly everyone she comes across and so happy to feel safe and loved. Due to her lack of history, older kids would be best for this gorgeous half-pint. November 28, 2023, 11:14 am

Story
Meet Jovie! This 1-year old elfin beauty is already in the Christmas spirit and came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray. Jovie has a childlike innocence and sweet personality and treats every day like Christmas! She is a people-person and oozes sweetness and love from her entire being, craving attention and insisting on being near her people at all times. She is happiest when someone is petting her, loves to give kisses, and crawls right up for a full-frontal hug. Jovie is appropriately energetic and playful for her young age, hops like a rabbit with excitement, and runs like a baby donkey (which is charming, yet gawky, all at the same time!). This shady lady has the SOFTEST espresso coat and the personality to match, and wags and wiggles when she meets new people…her entire body shakes and her butt wiggles nonstop with excitement. Jovie loves her canine foster brother (cats unknown) and has an energetic playstyle. She is great in the car and calm in the house. Pint-sized humans make her nervous, so a home without the littles is a must. We all know that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear…or applying to adopt this sleek and beautiful house panther to give her a forever family before the holidays! Jovie’s top 3 priorities: An adult-only family who wants a dog that loves attention and is eager to freely give (and receive) love. A family willing to put time into basic training since Jovie jumps up to seek affection and gets excited on walks. A family who wants to be close to their pup and allows them to be near…always, which includes snuggling in bed and on the couch for a binge-watching session. November 28, 2023, 11:14 am

Story
Meet Maple! This 1-year old syrupy-sweet gal came to us from local animal control after being abandoned in a trailer with her puppies and a male pittie. Miss Maple is a confident, active dog who has done great with a routine! She is very wiggly and loves to give kisses! She loves Amazon delivery men (don’t we all?) and doesn’t mind the vacuum. She is a toy lover + destroyer all in one – she loves to pull out the stuffing and the squeaker. And loves mental enrichment…peanut butter in Kongs, playing with the Kong Wobbler…you name it! If she gets two solid walks in and some playtime in between, this gal will settle in for the day. But she’s always down to party and would make a great adventure dog.   Maple is little and big at the same time. She is densely packed in a smaller body and has (thankfully!) gained some much-needed leash manners in her foster home. She is amazing in the car and loves, loves, loves playing with dogs. If you are sitting on the couch, she will run into the room and launch her little/big body in your direction without any regard for where she will land. Her foster family yells “incoming,” so that everyone can cover any sensitive areas. She settles in the evenings, sleeping like a baby throughout the night, and likes to nap and snuggle with her humans if they are watching TV.   Maple’s exceptional color and sappy sweetness are palpable…she is 100% pure, straight from the tap, and has learned to entertain herself with toys when no one is actively walking or playing with her. She is appropriately curious and energetic for her young age. And she loves any and all treats! She enjoys running errands and is a serious go-with-the-flow kind of gal! Maple’s perfect home? Having another playful pup at home or an active family. Due to her lack of history, older kids would be best for this naturally sweet girl.November 28, 2023, 11:14 am
