Story
Buddy was born in my house and he was the only boy in the litter so I fell in love and kept him but hes not getting enough outside time to explore the world which I know he would love to do. Hes a wonderful dog and SO smart! Doesnt bark at other dogs or people sometimes on the skittish side. Just turned 1 year old October 20th. He loves treats like bully sticks and chews. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you! 🙏😊

Story
Owston is the sweetest boy, a 4yo male Shiba with a heart of gold. He is a goofy, affectionate, incredibly smart dog. He absolutely loves people-- snuggling, walking, playing, and making you laugh. He unfortunately is not getting along with my other dog any longer and is looking for a home where he can be the only pet. Owston was my husband's dog before we met. He brought him out of a dark depression after his first bout with cancer. Unfortunately, my husband's cancer relapsed and he passed away in 2024. He was definitely Owston's *person*, and the loss combined with the many changes to Owston's routine worsened his reactive behaviors toward other dogs, that we'd worked so hard to train away. It breaks my heart to be separated from him, but I believe Owston will truly flourish as someone's only pet. I would love to be able to receive occasional updates or photos-- he will always be my and my husband's baby boy. I only want what is best for him.

Story
Urgent Adoption Needed: A Loving Companion Seeks New Home It is with a heavy heart that we share the story of Abby, a wonderful Chihuahua mix who is in urgent need of a loving new home. Her beloved owner, who cherished Abby for 7 years, is transitioning into a nursing home and is sadly unable to take her along. Abby is a sweet and gentle 7-year-old Chihuahua mix who thrives on companionship and affection. She loves to cuddle, is good with people and enjoys short walks. This sudden change has been difficult, and Abby deserves a soft landing with a family who can provide the stability and love she has always known. We are looking for a special adopter who understands the commitment of bringing a dog into their life and can offer a secure, caring environment. Giving Abby a second chance at happiness would be a true gift, honoring the strong bond she shared with her original owner.

Story
Meet Pringles — a sweet little gal who loves being part of a family unit, and it absolutely shows. She can be timid when meeting new people, but once she decides you’re one of her humans, she becomes completely smitten. Pringles follows her foster mom around like a quiet little shadow and adores the dogs in her home, too. Her best buddy is her big foster brother — yes, a big dog — whose tail she has been known to sit on like it’s her own personal recliner chair . She’s also been playing more with the other dogs in the home, showing off her blossoming confidence and her secretly silly side. Pringles is a quiet, gentle gal who loves to eat — the way to her heart is definitely through her belly! She also collects her toys and brings them into her dog bed for snuggles… it’s honestly the cutest thing ever. She’s crated at night, sweet as they come, and so ready to find her forever family who will cherish her for the soft, sensitive gem she is. best as second dog in home best in a more chill family  altered, microchipped & vaccinated  ready for forever 12/17 apply today!  *Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.* If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below.
