She is a medium energy dog who enjoys a play session, followed by a nap. She benefits from slow introductions to other dogs. She would also be fine as an only dog. Zaria happily entertains herself with toys or a romp in the backyard. She has lived with cats and has for the most part ignored their presence. Zaria loves her people and enjoys making new human friends. She can be an enthusiastic greeter and sometimes forgets her size, so older dog-savvy children would be best for her. Zaria enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and looks to her humans for reassurance and guidance in new situations. Zaria is an intelligent girl and very eager to please. She knows a plethora of commands, and loves to learn new things every day. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Zaria enjoys relaxing in her crate throughout the day and sleeps soundly in it overnight. She is looking for an experienced and patient adopter who will continue to provide her with structure and routine so she can continue to be her best self. Are you the lucky family who gets to add Zaria to your bunch? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesYou’ve heard of the Great Houdini, but without further ado, allow us to introduce the Great Santini!Unlike Houdini, the only trick Santini will pull is wiggling her way into your heart.Santini is a wonderful dog that has spent the last few months refining her training skills. Santini has excellent manners and is house trained and crate trained. She would love to show off everything she has learned including sit, stay, down, and heel (for a treat of course)! Santini is happy to fit into her humans' routine and picks up quickly on new commands. She is very accommodating, walks well on a leash, and corrects/redirects easily. Santini loves to play, but is also happy to hang out with her people around the house.Santini would do best as the only dog in the house with an experienced dog owner who can maintain consistent boundaries and expectations to help her succeed and feel reassured. She is an athletic gal who loves to chase after balls and show off her signature ‘hopping prance’. She would love to have a fenced in yard or a local fenced in area so she can show off her moves! When she has finally expended all of her energy you can find her searching for the best sunbathing spot to take a snooze in. Santini is a sweet, gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be loved and make you laugh with her goofy antics. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesHarley Memphis is a sweet, loyal, sensitive soul who is looking for a patient and loving family to live out his golden years. He recently underwent two major surgeries and is looking for a home that will continue to meet his unique medical needs. Although he has some physical limitations, he does not let this bring him down and is enjoying his life to the fullest!A few of Harley’s favorite things include snuggling with his humans, going for short walks, zoomies in small spaces, and spray cheese! Due to his mobility issues, Harley would do best in a home with minimal stairs and that has carpeting as he sometimes slips on hardwood floors. He would love a home with lots of soft dog beds, as he is unable to jump onto furniture. He does well with new dogs after proper introductions, but should have monitored interactions with other dogs, especially when approached from behind, until he feels more confident. Harley is currently thriving in his foster home and does best with structure and boundaries. He has met cats and would do best in a cat-free home as he is a bit too interested in his feline friends. Harley has met children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who will respect his personal space and not make sudden, loud noises or movements. Harley is fully house and crate trained. Harley enjoys having his crate door open so he can come and go as he pleases. He rotates through his crate and his favorite dog beds when his foster is at work. Harley enjoys going for short walks around the neighborhood and walks well on leash. Harley is looking for a quiet family who will provide him with structure, love, and support so he can live a life of leisure!Note: Harley is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program for prescription medication. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog-savvy catsGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy kids (10+) Crate trained: Mostly (sleeps through the night in her crate)House trained: YesThis sweet girl is Lexley. Her adorable, expressive face and calm, soulful eyes make it easy to fall in love at first sight. She’s a big fan of curling up for a cozy nap but is always ready to spring into action when it’s time for fun. Whether she’s joyfully tossing around a toy or exploring her surroundings, Lexley brings a gentle, steady energy to every moment. Her affectionate nature and easygoing spirit make her a very special companion.Lexley gets along beautifully with other dogs, greeting new canine friends with enthusiasm. She is curious about new humans, and may take a few minutes to warm up to new human friends. Once she opens up, she is a sweetheart and will thrive with a patient family. She’s met cats on leash and, while a bit curious, is mostly more interested in the people around her - especially if there are pets or snuggles involved! Lexley would do best in a home with dog-savvy children over the age of 10 who will respect her space and give her time to warm up in her new environment. She truly thrives on love and connection, no matter who’s giving it.She’s still polishing her crate training and potty training and is doing really well on a schedule. Lexley does well in her crate overnight, but can be vocal during the day when her family is at work. Lexley is also quickly getting the hang of leash walking; she loves being outside and is eager to please, making every walk a joy.If you’re searching for a sweet, affectionate, and fun-loving companion that will deliver endless smiles to your home, Lexley is your lady. Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This mid-energy girl enjoys a good play session or walk followed by lots of belly rubs. Tasha is looking for a home where she can continue to grow and thrive.Tasha adores older children (13+) and other dogs and would be a wonderful companion for either or both. She is still learning how to read social cues from other dogs, so she could benefit from a canine sibling or owner who will help her understand when to play independently. Tasha sees cats as friends and wants to play with them, too, so she would do best with dog savvy cats. This fun gal has gained a new appreciation for squeaky toys and balls in her foster home and loves to chomp on a toy to entertain herself.Tasha is crated during the day and overnight and will continue to improve with routine and consistency. As with any puppy, Tasha needs a little time to adjust to new situations and routines, but she’s been working very hard on her house training and is sure to perfect it with time, patience, and consistency in her new home. Tasha loves to go on leash walks with her tail wagging and tongue hanging out. This smart girl enjoys the mental stimulation of training and learns quickly, so she would thrive in a home where she gets the structure to continue picking up new skills. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and teachable young pup who will fill your home with joy, Tasha is your girl. This medium-energy pup will do epic backyard zoomies followed by an immediate couch collapse. Serena is looking for a patient, calm home where she can continue to build her confidence and truly shine.Serena is a classic slow-to-warm gal when meeting new people. She prefers to observe and approach at her own pace, then when she feels safe she transforms into a total love bug. Serena hopes her new family will advocate for her as she continues to learn that most new people aren’t scary, and some of them even have treats! She hasn’t met any kids yet, but is so gentle and affectionate that she would likely do well with dog-savvy kids who could respect her slow approach style. Serena looooves other dogs and invites them to play with gentle bumps and face kisses, but if they don’t want to she will respect their boundaries and entertain herself. She’s even great with cats and wants nothing more than to be friends with them, though she will leave them alone if they don’t want the same. Serena’s silly side comes out when she gets comfortable, and her favorite things are to play with her doggy friends or crawl onto the lap of someone she trusts for cuddles.Serena is fully house- and crate-trained, and settles in immediately to be crated during the day and overnight. She has been working hard on her leash skills and hopes her new family will continue to encourage her as she bravely faces new sights and sounds on walks.
