Story
Frankie is a sweetheart that loves everyone he meets. He has been through a lot the past few weeks. He was abandoned by has former family, who lived down the street from us, when they moved away suddenly. He stayed by their house for days waiting for them to come home before we realized he was abandoned and brought him to our home to care for him. Unfortunately one of our large dogs is aggressive towards Frankie and so he will still need to find a safe forever home with a different family. He is a ray of sunshine! He loves his walks, treats and dog friends and just wants to be part of the fun. He is a bundle of energy and doesn’t always realize how big he is though, so Frankie would do best in a home with a family that can continue to work with him to learn to channel his energy in fun and safe ways. If you can find a place in your home and heart for this sweet boy then you will have a loyal and loving companion for life!

MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED APRIL 16 21!!!To learn more visit:http://www.mspca.org/feewaived Meet Princesa! This regal mix breed has lots of love (and energy!) to give, and she cant wait to find her new home where she will be treated like true royalty! We have limited information on her life before she came to us, but what we have seen here is that she is a little unsure about the sights and sounds of the big city, and will need a patient adopter who can help her settle in at her own pace. Once she has had time to make herself at home, she will not be able to wait to show you her playful side! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

Priscilla5 Months OldSpayed FemaleMeet Priscilla! This young lady can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, but blossoms into a social butterfly after getting to know you. She could benefit from having a quieter-traffic home and a family that can work at her pace as she first settles in. As Priscilla gets more confident, she’ll be sure to show you all her favorite toys! Priscilla could do well with a confident, tolerant dog friend who can help show her the ropes, a dog-savvy cat with a slow introduction, and children! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. Story
Chencho5 years oldAmerican Bully Have you ever dreamt of having your very own house hippo? Well dream no further! Chencho is the chunkiest house hippo on the block and is ready to dazzle you with his ample good looks and charm. This large couch potato would make a great companion in a variety of households as long as there are plenty of scritches available for him! He is not a fan of sharing his favorite things, so he would do best in a home without young children. He might be able to live with another dog with plently of management. Chencho seems to have some allergies so it will be important to have a close relationship with a veterinarian to keep him feeling his best. Regardless, he promises to wiggle his way into your heart in no time! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. *Chencho is currently in a foster home so would require a second visit to meet him in person* For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Story
Meet Zeus! A perpetual, fast-moving wiggle butt, watch his enthusiam adorably take over when he says `hello`! He`s a high energy guy and he`s got the muscles to prove it, but in addition to exercise, he will also need some help learning how to settle - he may not be the `Netflix and chill` type at home to begin with. Zeus has previously lived with a cat, but due to his size and strength introductions should be slow. If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog that’s a good match! Story
ValerieJack Russell/Lab Mix2 Years OldValerie is a sweet and social little lady who can`t wait to find a home of her own. Valerie came to us from a southern shelter so we don`t know much about her past, but she had some old injuries so we think she might have had a run in with a car at some point. Unfortunately, she had a broken leg that could not be repaired, so she is now a cute little tripod and getting around just fine! Valerie loves to meet new people and is a very snuggly girl, but she can also be really silly and playful when she gets going! She has been through lots of transitions in a short period of time, so she is looking for a home that can give her time to settle in and learn at her own pace. We`re not sure what breeds she is mixed with, but she is a perfectly medium size!If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center.
