Rosebud is a very affectionate 7-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who is the definition of a people dog. If you are looking for a loyal companion who thrives on human attention and will try to curl up next to you for a nap, she is your girl! Expert Cuddler: We call her our 80-lb lap dog; she lives for pets and snuggles. Easygoing & Reliable: She is well-behaved when left home alone, very calm in the car, and very responsive to treats. Ideal Home: Rosebud is looking for a new home because she finds the unpredictable energy of infants and toddlers (specifically crawling and fast-moving little ones) to be very stressful. While she is not a fit for homes with small children, she would likely do well with older, dog-savvy kids who can be gentle and respectful of her space. Health & Activity: She enjoys a few short walks a day (1 mile or less). She takes daily medication for arthritis, which is simple to manage. Otherwise, she is healthy, happy, and has a whole lot of love to give!

Story

Blue is a big friendly guy who loves to cuddle. He was living outside with unhoused in the city. He was brought into my place of work and has been living with me for the past year. I am moving in with my partner in the fall and unfortunately he has a dog who does not get along with other dogs. Blue is great with other dogs! And all people! He is a big lover! He is going to need someone who is patient with him though as he does get nervous when left along in new places. He has settled into our apartment and routine but needs time in new environments. He does much better with a dog companion so would love a sibling if you had one. He is currently living with another dog and two cats.

Story

Princess is a great dog! She is a 45-pound, 9-year-old staffy who loves lounging around most of the day but also has tons of energy to play with toys and go for long walks or chase tennis balls at the dog park. She is very loving and loves to cuddle up at night under the covers. She loves her toys! She mostly ignores other dogs, but loves meeting new people at the dog park. She is in great health with no medical issues! The only issue I encounter is that I have a three-year-old daughter and Princess nips at her feet when she runs across the room. I am trying to find her a good home without small children or other pets.

Emoji - The Little Gentleman's Story Meet Emoji, a 2.5-month-old, 7-lb sweetheart with the softest little soul.  Emoji and his siblings were abandoned on a busy beach in Puerto Rico filled with feral dogs, where they survived by hiding under rocks for nearly two weeks before finally being rescued. It’s hard to imagine such tiny babies trying to stay safe all alone.  Because of everything he’s been through, Emoji can be a little shy at first — but once he feels safe, all he wants is his people. He is incredibly cuddly, gentle, and affectionate, happiest curled up close beside you soaking up love and reassurance. He has a quiet sweetness about him that completely melts your heart. The shy ones are the best ones in our opinion!  Emoji is finally learning what safety and kindness feel like, and now he’s looking for a forever family who will give him the secure, loving life he has always deserved.

This tiny pup was found shaking, soaking wet, and abandoned at the beach, left all alone with no one to protect her. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time — and despite everything she’s been through, Cutie Jr. has nothing but love to give. She is incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and loves absolutely everyone she meets. When she gets excited, she does the most adorable little bunny hops that instantly make people fall in love with her. She’s playful, gentle, and happiest curled up close to her people after a fun day of exploring. Meet Gunner, a 5-month-old, 22-lb sweetheart with the gentlest heart. Gunner was dumped at a construction site in Puerto Rico, surrounded by loud, scary machines and chaos. Terrified, he hid inside a storage container just trying to stay safe. Thankfully, rescuers found him before something terrible happened. Because of his rough start, Gunner can be a little shy at first — but it is more of a docile tentativeness as he is still incredibly loving and affectionate. He absolutely loves to snuggle and melts into you when give him belly rubs. Underneath his timid side is a soft, sweet puppy who just wants comfort, kindness, and someone to trust. Gunner also has a tiny little club foot, but vets say it is completely fine and purely cosmetic — it doesn’t slow him down one bit and there is nothing medically wrong with him. If anything, it just makes him look like he’s salsa dancing when he walks, which honestly makes him even more adorable. Now Gunner is ready for a forever home where he can continue building confidence, soaking up love, and finally experience the safe, happy puppyhood he always deserved.
