Story
Finn is sweet, stubborn, cuddly and very food driven! He loves to sniff every tree on the block and find the best sticks in the neighborhood. He is great at playing hide and seek and loves to chase his toys, especially when they have kibble in them. He is a smart boy and knows many basic commands, including sit, spin, down, paw, leave it, and stay. He loves spending quality time together and will sometimes sit behind me on a dining chair while I have my breakfast and coffee. Finn was rescued in Texas at 8 weeks old in May 2020. He is 4 years old now and would do best in a home with no other pets that's secluded or isolated from excessive outside noise. With my busy schedule, I’ve been struggling to find the time to meet his needs. However, Finn is a curious, affectionate, gentle giant who will do great in a quiet home where he can get lots of mental and physical exercise.

WOW! Look at sweet Missy! This sweet dog has been through the ringer but she has never let that phase her. Missy is the most sweetest pup around town! She is a 3 year old, female, lab/beagle mix that was rescued from the streets of Texas after she was dumped. Missy did ween her litter of puppies before she was rescued, which is why you will noticed her enlarged teats which will take a few weeks to go back to normal. So don't be alarmed! Missy is a lover of everything, a gentle soul. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, everyone she meets and even children. She loves spending her time running in the yard and lounging in the sun. This sweet girl is just looking for her forever home that will never give up on her! Interesting in adopting the sweetest pup? Story
MEET ELLIOTT!Elliott (or ET) is a lovable goofball who loves to run! He’s previously lived with young children and gets along well with everyone he meets. He loves playing with other dogs and is overall such a social butterfly! Because of his love for activity, he prefers a home that has either a fenced yard or somewhere with lots of park access. He is a polite guy and learns really fast - sometimes too fast so when we are slow to recognize his obedient behavior he will give us a nudge for a head pat or a snack reward! We have been taking advantage of his time here by having him meet and play with lots of dogs and teaching him all the basic foundational skills so he can go to your home as a perfect gentleman! Could you be the human companion he is yearning for? Elliott is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Elliott or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
Meet Piper! She’s a beautiful 4 month old, female, whippet mix. Currently weighing in at 15lbs but will grow. She was rescued from a high kill shelter where her time was running out. She is your typical puppy and just loves playing and running. She will need training so she can learn all of the good habits as she continues to grow. Piper still jumps up with excitement but her current foster is working with her in that. She is ok on leash but will need some help knowing what it is! With any puppy, training is crucial and Piper is a very quick learning! Visit our website and apply today! www.aplaceforace.org
