Story
This is Ghost, our 1 year old pitbull. Hes a sweetheart, quiet and super affectionate. Unfortunately, I am allergic, and Ghost does not get along with our two cats. On top of this, we’re moving in September and won’t be able to take him with us. So we’ve made the tough decision to find our boy a new home. Ghost is UTD on his shots and will come with his crate, leash, food bowls, harness, toys etc. He has a good amount of training, and seems to excel with it. Hes very food motivated which is great. He knows sit, down, heel, stay, touch, paw and more. We will be asking for a small rehoming fee to ensure he gets a good home. If interested please reach out with any additional questions. Thanks!

Story
Finn is sweet, stubborn, cuddly and very food driven! He loves to sniff every tree on the block and find the best sticks in the neighborhood. He is great at playing hide and seek and loves to chase his toys, especially when they have kibble in them. He is a smart boy and knows many basic commands, including sit, spin, down, paw, leave it, and stay. He loves spending quality time together and will sometimes sit behind me on a dining chair while I have my breakfast and coffee. Finn was rescued in Texas at 8 weeks old in May 2020. He is 4 years old now and would do best in a home with no other pets that's secluded or isolated from excessive outside noise. With my busy schedule, I’ve been struggling to find the time to meet his needs. However, Finn is a curious, affectionate, gentle giant who will do great in a quiet home where he can get lots of mental and physical exercise.

Story
I have chosen to rehome my 9 month old Xoloitzcuintli due to an incompatibility between my lifestyle and his behavioral needs. It is not a decision I have made lightly, and I truly want to find the best home for him! I got Mezcal six months ago from someone that was looking to rehome him in Calfornia. He has a lot of energy and would do well with someone that is an experienced dog owner, and has the time to spend with him at home so that he can be exercised and trained further. Mezcal does not do well with other dogs, as he gets too excited around them. He definitely needs someone that is willing to work on his behavior around other dogs, since he is at an age where he can make significant progress! He hasn't interacted much with cats, but I would be cautious and say that he might do better in a home without cats either. I am happy to answer more questions about him!

WOW! Look at sweet Missy! This sweet dog has been through the ringer but she has never let that phase her. Missy is the most sweetest pup around town! She is a 3 year old, female, lab/beagle mix that was rescued from the streets of Texas after she was dumped. Missy did ween her litter of puppies before she was rescued, which is why you will noticed her enlarged teats which will take a few weeks to go back to normal. So don't be alarmed! Missy is a lover of everything, a gentle soul. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, everyone she meets and even children. She loves spending her time running in the yard and lounging in the sun. This sweet girl is just looking for her forever home that will never give up on her! Interesting in adopting the sweetest pup? Story
Meet Mae! She is a 4 month old whippet/terrier mix that was rescue from a high kill shelter in Texas. She currently weight 14lbs but will continue to grow. She has those lanky legs so we are guessing she will be tall when full grown. Mae has had very little structure in her young life and it is important for her to receive the proper training so she becomes the perfect pup! She loves other dogs and gets along with them great! When she’s not running around in the yard, you’ll catch her cuddle on the couch with you. She will need some leash work and extra help with potty training! She’s a puppy so be prepared for those bursts of energy! Visit our website and apply today! www.aplaceforace.org
