Story
Remy is a beautiful 2 year old dog who has completed obedience training (sit, down, stay, place, heel, come) and loves his daily walks and naps beside his human. He is a sensitive boy who always wants to please and enjoys burning off his energy on walks or while racing around the backyard. Due to his strong hound instincts, Remy must be on a leash at all times, though he does well with recall in a fenced yard. Remy is fine with other dogs in neutral settings, but he needs to be the only dog in his home. He'll be perfect for someone who enjoys walks, hikes, or strolls and would love to keep strengthening his obedience. He is fully crate trained and house trained. In his crate he settles in and patiently waits, and when his humans return the butt wiggles and kisses never end. He is a true snuggle bug and a loving companion. He is highly treat motivated, and once he slips into working mode the precision of his obedience commands is amazing.

Story
I really need to to tell you about how AMAZING she is so she can find herself a forever family! Zara was surrendered to our rescue partners at just one year old for getting “too big.” I’m really not sure what they expected her to be…  ‍ At 54 pounds and very clearly large breed mix Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix, we’re not exactly sure what they expected—but thankfully, Zara landed safely in a wonderful foster home and has proven to be an absolute gem.  This beautiful gal loves playing fetch, tug-of-war, chasing balls, carrying sticks and spending time outdoors! After some fun, she’s more than happy to relax and soak up attention from her people or just chill out on the kitchen floor!  Zara is potty trained, crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and rides great in the car — her fosters LOVE HER and she’s a really good girl True to her working breed mix side, Zara loves being around to her people and will happily follow you from room to room. She’s loyal, affectionate and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing!  If you’re looking for a happy, well-rounded companion who is always up for an adventure and equally happy to cuddle, Zara may be your perfect match. 1 yo @54 lbs Shepherd/Pyr mixsuper sweet & lovingdog friendly older kids ok already altered, vaccinated & microchipped  available for adoption 7/16-apply now to bring her home from Amesbury on our website - link in bio   *Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.* If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below.
