Story
Meet young puppy Bocce. This is a happy go lucky guy with a lot of energy. He loves to entertain himself with toys and is really good walking on aleash. Oh, dont let that adorable face fool you. This puppy will requirea bit more training with polite greetings and to use that puppy mouthappropriately. Luckily, Bocce loves his snacks and will train for cookies. This good boy is looking to join a low traffic home with older kids only tohelp him become his best self. The best situation would be if he could livewith an older, patient dog that will teach him the ropes. Here at theshelter, he has enjoyed play dates with other dogs. We have no history ofwhat Bocce thinks of cats, so a dog-savvy cat would be a possibility.Does Bocce sound like the pup for you? If so, please head to the MethuenMSPCA location Tuesday-Sunday between the hours of 12PM-3PM!

* My adoption fee will be waived Feb 13-15 * Rhino is the guy with the awesome ears. You can really tell he wants to hear those magic words from you &#8211: like walk or treat. This good boy is full of energy and would love to live with a family that will include him in their adventures. Rhino looks forward to his long sniffy walks and will melt when you scratch his shoulders just right. He is a smart guy and loves to train. Rhino is working hard on walking calmly and politely. Sometimes, though, it is just too exciting to be outside that it is hard to be calm. He is trying! Rhino has been through many changes recently and will need some time to settle into his new home. He hopes his adopters will keep his world small as everyone gets to know each other. Here at the shelter, Rhino has been able to walk with other dogs after getting a little help settling. We dont know if he has ever met a cat. He could possibly live with one starting with complete separation. And Rhino has previously lived with children as young as 10 and 12 and all was fine. The kids should be able to participate in Rhinos training plan and give him his space when he needs it. Rhino is a such a fun dog. Does he sound like the dog for you?

Story
Are you looking to be entertained by a dog romping in the yard with toys? Then Skye is your girl! She is a master at self-entertaining. This doggo is not only fun, she is really smart! Brains and beauty all in one dog. Skye is a very good girl, and, once she knows you, she will lean in hard for pets. She has been through a number of changes recently, so sometimes she can be worried with new people or loud noises. She is hoping her new adopters will keep her world small and safe as she settles in. Here at the shelter, Skye has been selective with her dog friends. She may be able to live with another carefully matched dog using some management. She has not told us how she feels about cats. That could work starting with complete separation. And children old enough to practice petting consent and help with her training plan would be the best bet. Skye is a very good girl and deserves a loving home. Does she sound like the dog for you?

He&#8217:s energetic, curious, and always ready for fun. He&#8217:s currently working hard on his manners and would thrive with someone who can continue guiding him with consistent, positive reinforcement. Gilligan would do best in a calm, structured home with patient adopters. If you&#8217:re looking for a high energy companion to join you on hikes or on a run, Gilligan could be your guy!
