Koda is a 7 year old male. He is neutered and was adopted from Sterling Animal Shelter. Koda gets along with other people but it does take him a few minutes to be able to feel comfortable. He does have anxiety but has improved a lot since adopted. Koda is very silly and always has an appetite. He’s very adventurous and loves exercise. He would be a great hike buddy for someone. Koda is a good listener and would walk without a leash but would benefit from some leash training, while on a leash. He loves looking out the window. Up to date with vaccines. Koda would be best for families with older children. Not sure how Koda is around cats; he’s never had to be around a pet cat. He’s currently with another dog who’s much smaller/ senior dog. Koda tries to initiate play but the dog is much older and isn’t interested.

This puppy will requirea bit more training with polite greetings and to use that puppy mouthappropriately. Luckily, Bocce loves his snacks and will train for cookies.This good boy is looking to join a low traffic home with older kids only tohelp him become his best self. The best situation would be if he could livewith an older, patient dog that will teach him the ropes. Here at theshelter, he has enjoyed play dates with other dogs. We have no history ofwhat Bocce thinks of cats, so a dog-savvy cat would be a possibility.Does Bocce sound like the pup for you? Now, James is hoping for an adopter who will give him time to decompress and adjust to his new life. Good boy James is so very smart and trains quickly using a clicker. He loves long sniffy walks or romping around in a yard. He has also decided that car rides are awesome and will go with you wherever you want to go. While James was able to take walks with other calm dogs, living with another dog would currently take a good deal of management. James has successfully lived with cats in his previous home. And if children are old enough to practice petting consent and help with his training plan, James may be able to live with kids.
