Story
Winnie has stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers and once you meet her, she`ll steal yours, too. She`s a happy, good girl that loves to spend time with her humans. In fact, if you happen to work from home, she can be your fabulous assistant, sleeping in her bed or quietly enjoying some enrichment. Of course, like most assistants, Winnie may interrupt you from time to time with important things like needing a pet or a little sniffy walk. Winnie also settles very nicely in her crate. This sensitive gal will need a quieter neighborhood and a lower traffic, mellow home, so she can settle into a predictable routine. She has benefited greatly from seeing a veterinary behaviorist that has prescribed medications that help her be the best version of herself. This will need to be continued in her new home in order for her to be successful. Winnie previously lived with a chihuahua friend and they enjoyed snuggle and playtime together. Although she`s a larger girl, she seems more comfortable with small dogs and may be able to have a well matched resident friend . Winnie has not lived with a cat, but with slow introductions, it is a possibility. Winnie would likely feel most comfortable in an adult home, but could potentially live with a quieter older teen . Winnie is a charmer for sure, that big grin and curly tail just makes you smile. If you think your home would be a great fit for this special gal, please stop by the shelter during open hours to talk to staff. Tuesday-Sunday 12-3p

Story
Everyone at the shelter agrees that Wendy is one big sweetheart and mush pot! As you can see by her pictures, she has the best silly side, ever, especially when playing with her favorite stuffed toys. With her sleek, shiny coat, big block head, and her zest for life, she`ll be sure to sweep you off your feet and steal your heart. If you`re re hoping to be smothered with love and to have a new adventure pal, she would be happy to fulfill that need. Wendy is a big, strong lady so her dog walking buddies and human companions should be comfortable with her size. She also has quite the nose for smaller critters, so no cat friends, please. Wendy is a super smart girl and loves learning new things, especially when a yummy treat is the reward. Don`t miss out on the opportunity to add the best girl ever to your family. Stop by during open hours to talk to staff about fun, lovable Wendy.Tuesday-Sunday 12-3pWeight- 88lbs

Story
Are you ready for some big puppy fun??? Cooper is a happy, clever young guy that is looking for adopters that will be excited to help him achieve best boy ever status! This means positive rewards training, fine tuning house training, exercise and tons of fun and laughs in between. Because Cooper loves everyone he meets and gets very excited, he might forget all about the polite way to greet people and be a bit on the jumpy side. Teens that are comfortable with bouncy young dogs and will participate in his training, will be considered. He can potentially join a home with a resident dog that is comfortable with his rough and tumble play style and who can be a good role model. No cats in the home at this time, please. Cooper is ready to become a wonderful companion for many years, he just needs to find his forever family. If you think he might be the one for you, please drop by the shelter during open hours to talk to staff. Tuesday- Sunday 12-3p

Story
Are you ready for some big puppy fun? Bradley Cooper is a happy, clever young guy that is looking for adopters that are excited to help a silly teen boy become the best version of himself! Bradley Cooper is a dog who will require a significant amount of training moving forward-- this means positive rewards for all of the great choices he makes, fine tuning house training and crate training, and lots of exercise! Because Bradley Cooper loves everyone he meets and can get very excited, he might forget about the polite ways to greet people and is still working on greeting his friends with his four feet on the floor.Bradley Cooper would do best in an adult-only home with some dog experience already under their belt! He has the potential to join a home with a resident dog that is comfortable with his rough and tumble play style, but this would require some more significant management (that our staff is happy to help prepare adopters for!) No cats in the home at this time, please. Bradley Cooper is ready to become a wonderful companion for many years, he just needs to find a family committed to working with him for his specific needs. If you think he might be the one for you, please drop by the shelter during open hours to talk to staff!! We are open Tuesday- Sunday 12-3pm

Story
This spunky girl is Mabel! She`s looking for dedicated adopters who are excited about training and helping this girl find an outlet for all her goofy puppy energy. She`s still learning the ropes when it comes to manners, but Mabel is a smart girl who`s ready to work for treats and learn to be the best girl she can be. She would thrive with a family who can give her the time and patience she needs to get settled into a new environment. She has been working on crate training and enjoys daily enrichment here at the shelter, and it would be best to continue these in the home. Any kids in the home should be sturdy and ready for a silly pup who hops around like a bunny! She enjoys a good wrestling match with her dog pals and has a rough, fast-paced playstyle, and we think she`d love a dog sibling or two who wouldn`t mind an annoying younger sister to be a role model to. Story
Mere is a social girl who enjoys long walks and a great squeaker toy. This sweet lady is very sweet and is perfecting her loose leash walking skills , she loves learning new things, especially when that means treats! Mere is amazing at fetch, bringing the tennis ball right back to you and dropping it at your feet, to throw again- she gets all the exercise, while stay in one place. After play time, this good girl loves to lay close by and relax. She`d prefer to be an only dog, but a dog-savvy cat could be a good match with a proper slow introduction. We think she`d do best in a home with older, respectful kids that understand her personal space. If you think she`s just right for you and why wouldn`t you, please stop by the shelter and chat with staff about this beauty. Tuesday - Sunday 12-3pWeight 50lbs
