Story
Hollie is a 4.5year old, affectionate, people-loving cuddle bug who thrives on human connection. This has been a very hard decision, but after years of effort and working with trainers, we haven’t made progress with her challenges on walks. She loves all humans but is not comfortable with other animals and must be the only pet. As much as we love her, we know she isn’t living her best life with us and would be happier in a different environment. I’ve had a change in jobs where I’m not home for long stretches and wish she had more company, that I know she craves and deserves. Hollie would do best with an experienced owner in a quieter environment with limited exposure to other animals. At home, she is wonderful—crate trained, reliably house trained (may need a short adjustment), and very smart. She rings a bell to go outside and has a consistent routine. She is a loyal, loving companion who will thrive in the right home, ideally with a fenced in yard and no other pets. Located in Boston

Story
Lotus is a 9month old pit mix. She was living with another family and needed to be rehomed immediately due to the not allowing pit mix’s where she lived. We took her in on an intermediate basis. We have a 14yr old dog at home with limited mobility and the puppy while great and loving, her playfulness is too much and has caused issues for my older dog. Lotus is beautiful and so fun. She just wants to play and cuddle. I’ve never met a dog that cuddles as much as her. She has the tools to be trained so well if someone has the time to give her the consistency she needs with it. I know lotus will make a family so happy and I’m sad it isn’t able to be mine right now. She has had her rabies and first round of distemper but needs additional vaccines. She loves walks and people. I haven’t walked her yet without someone complimenting how beautiful she is. I feel like she would fit best in a single dog home but with patience and training I think she could live well in a multiple dog home.

Story
This sweet boy is Rorschach (pronounced roar-shack). He’s a 5 1/2 year old, 55lb, Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. No formal training, but is housebroken and knows basic commands. He was adopted from the Humane Society of West Michigan, his origin was Mississippi and given the timeline, it’s likely he’s a hurricane rescue. Before moving to Mass, he shared a home with a female Australian Shepard, and is terrific around other dogs and small children. He doesn’t show aggression and is rarely vocal, he prefers to cuddle over most anything. I’m heartbroken to have to find a new home for him, as he is truly the chillest sweetest dog I’ve ever had, unfortunately my current situation won’t allow me to give him the living space and attention he deserves.

Cane Corso Neapolitan Mastiff

Details
Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Meet our gentle giant, a Cane Corso and Neapolitan Mastiff mix born April 26, 2024. At 150 lbs, he’s a loving cuddlebug who enjoys being close to his people, whether lying by your feet or rolling happily in the grass. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and knows sit, stay, and heel. He can stay out of the crate alone without causing damage. He’s friendly with strangers, good with cats, and has attended daycare and puppy play camp. While sometimes reactive with dogs at first, he redirects easily and often becomes playful after proper introductions. We love him deeply, but cannot give him the space, time, and exercise he deserves. He would thrive with someone experienced with large guardian breeds who can continue his training and confidence. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, protection, and endless love. He’s ready for a forever family.

Story
Cuti is 6 years old and 9 lbs(mini IG) and very good pet, but he is picky for the food. He does not eat normal dog well, so we mix the dog food and ground chicken. He had an surgery for hip bone disorder when he was about 1 year old. There is a surgery scar, and lift his leg sometimes because his left leg is a bit short, but he is running really fast and has no issue. He like a people so always want to stay with the people.
