Story
Hello potential adopters — this is a very emotional decision for our family, as we love Lola deeply. She is a beautiful, healthy three-year-old Great Pyrenees with a gentle spirit and a big heart. Due to personal circumstances, we are no longer able to give her the space and lifestyle she truly deserves. Lola thrives in open environments where she can roam, explore, and feel purposeful, ideally a farm or a home with a large, secure fenced yard (an invisible fence will not work for her). Someone with experience with Great Pyrenees or working-breed dogs would be a wonderful match. Our priority is finding her a home filled with patience, love, and understanding. Please reach out only if you feel truly committed to welcoming Lola into your home and heart. Thank you!

Story
Hi! My name is Tasha. I’m about 6 years old. I was rescued from Alabama in 2020, and now I live in MA. I’m in good health, all vaccinations current, up-to-date on Heartgard and Nextguard. I’m not comfortable or good with small children and can be reactive around other dogs. I’m generally well-behaved and loving with older kids and adults. I’m very loving and sweet. I’m food-motivated and know some general commands (Sit, Leave It, Place, Touch, Crate Time). I’m energetic, but I also like to hang out and snuggle. I’m playful, goofy, and can’t wait to find my new forever home. Requirements: No kids in house.

Story
Bertha was turned in to a rural Virginia shelter with 2 other hounds. She's 4-5 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. Bertha is sweet and a little timid in new situations. This group of hounds has been through a lot and were urgent rescues from a full shelter. They are currently boarding in Virginia to keep them safe while we arrange foster care and adoptions. She did well with kids and cats when tested at the shelter. We'll have better photos soon - we have videos to share with interested adopters. Arriving in Massachusetts Dec 6th. Story
Beauford is a sweet, active, lemon and white beagle from Virginia. He's a little guy at about 25 lbs. He loves to play and to be outside for hours of the day (if you are looking for a quiet couch potato, he is not the dog for you). He would do best with a fenced in yard with room to sniff and sing. He loves people and attention and also does well with other dogs: his foster reports there is not an aggressive bone in his body. When it is time for bed, he will sleep through the night and is largely housetrained. When Beauford arrived we noticed that he had a lump on his butt. The mass has been surgically removed and biopsied and the prognosis is good for a healthy recovery. Vets have estimated Beauford's age at 5 - 8 yrs old. His foster reports that he is like a puppy at times and full of energy. He's a joyful little Beagle who will bring you companionship and laughs. Available for visits north of Boston near southern NH. Story
Betty is a very affectionate and outgoing coonie girl. She has lived among a pack of hounds for four years and is looking for a new home due to her owners relocation to a City in which keeping several hounds is impossible. Bet is eager to meet new fur friends at the dog park, on the beach and everywhere she walks. She is also eager to meet new people on her adventures and her assumption is that everyone is eager to meet her too! Bet is trained off leash and has very good recall but as a hound girl if she catches a deer scent she may run off. Depending on where in the country she is rehomed she may need to wear a gps collar as she does now. Bet is very affectionate and craves attention but she does not demand it at all. She is a beta among other dogs and causes no trouble with her canine friends. I believe Bet is best suited for a home with at least one other dog in the house. She is great with children. And while Bet is NOT aggressive about food she LOVES IT. She may have been hungry as a baby - she was found with her litter and her mother - and although she has never missed a meal since being found, she will try to convince her people otherwise. Bet is a truly lovely and gentle hound girl who will warm her owners hearts. Bet is 7 - 8 yrs old and weighs about 50 lbs. Story
Annie is a 7 year old coonhound who was originally adopted in 2022. Due to a move and change in the family's situation, Annie needs a new home. Annie is a very sweet dog who loves her people and loves her tennis ball almost as much. She has done well living with other dogs these last couple of years but would also be fine as an only pet or with one companion. She eagerly meets new friends at the dog park and gets along with males and females. Annie is crate-trained and loves to curl up in a ball on her bed but she would prefer to sleep with her humans if permitted. Annie is a high-energy dog and requires daily exercise. She will tirelessly play fetch and loves doing so as much as she likes her walks in the park. She would be a great running companion. Annie is vocal when she anticipates an outing or when playing ball. Annie would love a home where her owner(s) can be be with her much of the time and someone can meet her energy needs If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below.
