Story
Princess is a very sweet and cuddly 9.5year old American Staffordshire Terrier. She is 47.6 lbs. She was previously given up by her family at 9 years old and her most recent owner surrendered her to me instead of leaving her at the shelter. He has not yet taken down her previous profile. Please disregard it. She loves to romp around in the woods and chew on a ball. She has excellent recall. She shadows her people, following them all over the house. She will wait on the bath mat outside the shower until you are finished. She is very friendly and great with people but is not good with small children, as she is triggered to chase their feet when they toddle around.Good with other dogs when outside but she should be the only pet in the home. She gets jealous and pushy about her space/peopleShe’s a great hiking and cuddle buddy. She would greatly benefit from an experienced owner who understands the Amstaff tenacity and needs.

Story
A friend gave her to me; I don't know much about the ginger, but I've had her at home for a year, and she is afraid to go outside. She is very playful with children, but she barks a lot when she sees strangers. Unfortunately, she can no longer stay with us because my mom is allergic to pet fur.

Story
Luca is an 8-year-old, sweet and loving dog who has been part of our family since we adopted him at 8 months old from North Carolina. He is house-trained, healthy with no medical issues, and makes a wonderful companion as well as a great watchdog. Luca loves to cuddle, enjoys going for walks, and while he may bark when he sees other dogs, he is a loyal and affectionate boy.As our family has grown, we have come to the difficult realization that we are no longer able to give Luca the time, attention, and care he deserves. This has been an incredibly hard decision, but we want to find him a loving home where he can thrive and receive the affection he has always given us.We are committed to finding Luca the right family. If we are unable to find an adopter, we may ultimately have no choice but to surrender him to a rescue or shelter, which we hope to avoid. Our greatest wish is to see Luca placed in a safe, caring home where he can continue to be the wonderful companion he has always been.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Harley is a loving, energetic girl who enjoys walks, outdoor time, and relaxing on the couch with her people. She bonds closely with her humans and does best with routine and structure. She is house trained, leash trained, and has basic manners training. She does well on walks and enjoys regular activity. Harley must be the only pet in the home. She becomes overstimulated around other animals and is not suited to living with dogs or cats. While she loves people, she would do best in a home without small children, as she can be excitable and does not always recognize her size. The ideal adopter will be home most of the day (retired, flexible schedule, or working from home) and experienced with dogs. Harley can become over-excited with new people, including jumping or zooming, and benefits from continued work on impulse control and anxiety with clear routines. In the right single-pet home, Harley will be a deeply affectionate and loyal companion.

Story
It breaks my heart to do this; I no longer have the time that Valentina deserves. She is a beautiful, active, and very lovable German Shepherd who needs a home where she can receive the attention, exercise, and care she needs.Valentina is house-trained and does well in the home. She does need professional training, especially with leash walking, and she can sometimes become overly excited and difficult to manage. However, she is a sweet, playful, and affectionate dog who loves people and has so much potential with the right owner. We are looking to rehome her as soon as possible to a loving family or individual who can provide her with the time, training, and care that she deserves. If you think you can give Valentina a forever home, please reach out for more information.

Story
Meet Sweet Mama Moosh! For years, Sweet Mama Moosh has known what it means to survive—but not what it feels like to truly belong. This beautiful 4-5 year old girl spent her life on the streets, where neighbors watched her lovingly raise at least two litters of puppies. While she made sure her babies were safe, no one was there to make sure she was. She endured hunger, uncertainty, and even an injured paw, yet somehow never lost her gentle, loving heart. When we trapped her, the plan was simply to spay her and return her to the streets. But after spending time with her, we knew we couldn't do it. Sweet Mama Moosh is far too affectionate, trusting, and deserving of love to spend another day wondering where she'll sleep or if she'll have enough to eat. She has fought to survive long enough. Now it's her turn to be cared for. Today, her paw has completely healed, and she has blossomed into a happy, healthy, beautiful girl who is finally ready for the life she's always deserved. She is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is now spayed, vaccinated, up to date on preventatives, potty trained and crate trained! Such an amazing girl!! She adores gentle pets, leisurely walks, and never says no to a tasty snack. 🥹 She has lived alongside other dogs on the streets. While she'll politely correct a dog that gets too pushy, she has otherwise done well around other dogs. Right now, Sweet Mama Moosh needs someone willing to open their heart and home—whether that's through fostering, foster-to-adopt, or giving her the forever family she's never had. If you've ever thought about changing a dog's life, this is your chance. Sweet Mama Moosh has spent years giving everything she had to survive and to care for others. Now she's simply asking for someone to choose her. Please help us give this sweet girl the ending she's waited her whole life for. ❤️
