Story
Louie is about 5 years old and originally from Houston, TX. A neighbor put him out on the street because he was considered “too much trouble,” and we took him in. He has been with our family for about 4 years. Louie is neutered, microchipped, and has had basic training. Unfortunately, my mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and as painful as this decision is, we are no longer able to care for our dogs the way they deserve. Louie is very active and loves going on walks and running. He’s also a great climber. He does well with kids( I have a toddler and a baby). He will bark when he needs to go outside to relieve himself. He is still working on recall and tends to pull on the leash during walks. Louie already has a groomer he is comfortable with, and if you are local, we would love for him to continue seeing her since he is used to her. We are hoping to find a loving and active family or individual who will have the time to take him on walks, hikes, and give him the attentio

Story
Milo is about 6 years old. We found him as a puppy in a parking lot in Houston and brought him home, where he has lived as an indoor dog ever since. He is very alert and will bark when people are outside or at the door. Milo does not like sharing his food, so he would do best as the only dog in the home. After we moved to Massachusetts, his behavior changed and he became more reactive and sometimes aggressive. Milo takes time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you he is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. He truly just wants to be loved. Because of his temperament, he would do best with an experienced individual or family who understands dogs with behavioral challenges. He also does not do well on walks, so a home with a yard or someone experienced in managing this would be ideal. Our biggest hope is to find a patient and loving family who can give him the care, stability, and love he needs and deserves.

Story
Meet Brittany (Yes… like that Brittany — the beautiful girl everyone ends up obsessed with ) Brittany is a gentle, timid girl who is gaining confidence every single day — and she truly is such a special dog!! Quiet, incredibly obedient, and great in her crate, she absolutely craves affection once she feels settled in. She’s looking for a patient adopter and a more chill atmosphere where she can continue to blossom. And true to her name, once Brittany has you… you’re obsessed. Her foster absolutely adores her — and it’s definitely reciprocal. She walks well on a leash, though in busier traffic she may need a little reassurance. She’s shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll start seeking out attention and love like the beautiful girl she is. Brittany already knows sit and go to crate, is dog-friendly, and happily initiates play with the dogs she lives with. She would enjoy another dog in the home but doesn’t require one, as long as she’s given plenty of exercise and attention. Easygoing and content, Brittany can entertain herself with bones, isn’t very interested in toys yet, and loves sitting in the yard watching the squirrels go by In the right home, Brittany would truly excel at anything you ask of her — and probably steal your heart while she’s at it. She’s ready for a patient, calm home — and a future that’s finally hers. 2-3 yo//35 lbs very dog friendly!  altered, utd vaccines & microchipped  fostered in MASSACHUSETTS  *Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.* If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below. Story
A Sweet & Goofy friend.O’Shae’s story is a powerful reminder of how resilient and forgiving dogs can be. On the hardest day of his life, when he was left behind at a crowded shelter, he was terrified but never once unkind. Even frozen with fear, his gentle soul shone throughThe beautiful part? Every time a volunteer stopped to show him kindness—whether a walk, a cuddle, or just a little playtime—he’d loosen up and let his true puppy self peek out. Thanks to those amazing volunteers, O’Shae’s life was saved - just in the nick of time. Now safe and loved, this boy is blossoming into the fun-loving, goofy pup he was always meant to be. He’s a HUGE toy fan (seriously—tennis balls are his jam ), and once he feels comfortable — which doesn’t take long, his silly, playful side lights up the whole yard.O’Shae is looking for a family who will be patient, kind, and ready to cheer him on when he needs them dog friendly - fostered with dogs of all sizescrate trained & housebrokensweet old soul - curious puppy- like medium energy- loves hiking, running, beach, car rides altered, vaccinated & microchipped_________fostered locally in Lynn MA – apply today!!!Applications are on our website- galsbestpal.com *Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.* If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below.
