Story
Cosmo is a super smart, affectionate, athletic dog. We are so sad to have to make this decision, but Cosmo is anxious around our toddler and would do best in a home without young children. He has his basic training down (sit, down, stay, come, etc.), has good recall off-leash, and is good with other dogs in the park off-leash (though he would probably be best in a home with only one dog), and is crate-trained. He is extremely trainable and bright, loves people, and adds lots of energy and joy to any home.

Story
Sylvie is 1 year old, 38 pounds, and a mutt (maybe shnauzer/wolfhound mix). Sylvie is the sweetest girl, who has never met a stranger. She loves every human and dog right when she meets them. Sylvie does not shed (though she is not hypoallergenic). She walks well on a leash with a gentle leader harness on, and is crate trained. Sylvie is an excellent adventure buddy as she will hike or jog as far as you would like. We are rehoming Sylvie because she jumps/nips at our baby and chases our cat. We have been keeping Sylvie mostly separate from the cat and baby, but this ends up as Sylvie spending a lot of time away from the family. I would love to find a new home for her where she can be someone’s best friend. Sylvie still needs some training to learn not to jump on visitors and not to steal food off the counter. Sylvie should not go to a home with small children or cats. She would love to be in a home with another dog. Contact xxxx@xxxx.x @gmail.com.

Story
Hi! I'm Tootie, a 1.5-year-old female hound mix. I'm about 43 pounds and am up to date on all my vaccinations. I am playful and affectionate. I love giving kisses to everyone I meet! I'm great with dogs and love going to the dog park and daycare. I'd love to have another dog to play with me in my new house, but would be fine alone as long as you're around to play with me. My previous family loved me very much, but unfortunately I didn't get along well with their kitten. As a hound, I'm very prey-driven and like to chase cats and small animals. They're heartbroken to see me go but know I deserve a home where I can be my happy-go-lucky self! I hope it won't be long before I find my forever family. I'm available through Kitty Connection in Medford.

Story
My name is Kronos and I am a 2 1/2 year-old black nose/mountain Curr male. I’m a very friendly and happy-go-lucky guy when I’m comfortable in my surroundings. I have a great time playing with other dogs in the doggie park. I am a lovable and affectionate dog to my people and protective of them as well. I love their love and affection, I love going out on walks and being involved in outside activities. I’m a little overweight, so I need to get a lot more outside activity into my schedule. My dad just doesn’t have the time anymore to give me the activity and time that I need. I love to go on car rides because I am timid, meeting new people I am best with a dog experienced individual. I am available through Kitty Connection in Medford.

Story
Cody was adopted the summer of covid by my daughter and then son in law while my husband and I were up in oor second home. I did not personally meet Cody until a year later. IW need to highly socialized the 1st yr of life due to an innate high prey instinct. due to covid concerns, that was not followed. Cody is devoted to his family as well as our smaller dog Libby. But in the car he barks viciously at other dogs. While in the fenced-in back yard he has killed a rat and 3 mice and a rabbit. he would definitely be a deterrant if you don;t want small animals in your vicinity. He actually walks well on a leash with a harness as long as you are strong and there are no dogs in sight. Due to a congenital abnormality, he cannot hold his pee for longer than 6 to 8 hours. Being able to let himself out when needed would be good. What he enjoys most is lying at your feet or having his belly rubbed. he cannot go for a long time without connection to his family. he is a typical IW
