Story
Remy is a beautiful 2 year old dog who has completed obedience training (sit, down, stay, place, heel, come) and loves his daily walks and naps beside his human. He is a sensitive boy who always wants to please and enjoys burning off his energy on walks or while racing around the backyard. Due to his strong hound instincts, Remy must be on a leash at all times, though he does well with recall in a fenced yard. Remy is fine with other dogs in neutral settings, but he needs to be the only dog in his home. He'll be perfect for someone who enjoys walks, hikes, or strolls and would love to keep strengthening his obedience. He is fully crate trained and house trained. In his crate he settles in and patiently waits, and when his humans return the butt wiggles and kisses never end. He is a true snuggle bug and a loving companion. He is highly treat motivated, and once he slips into working mode the precision of his obedience commands is amazing.

Story
Annie is a 7 year old coonhound who was originally adopted in 2022. Due to a move and change in the family's situation, Annie needs a new home. Annie is a very sweet dog who loves her people and loves her tennis ball almost as much. She has done well living with other dogs these last couple of years but would also be fine as an only pet or with one companion. She eagerly meets new friends at the dog park and gets along with males and females. Annie is crate-trained and loves to curl up in a ball on her bed but she would prefer to sleep with her humans if permitted. Annie is a high-energy dog and requires daily exercise. She will tirelessly play fetch and loves doing so as much as she likes her walks in the park. She would be a great running companion. Annie is vocal when she anticipates an outing or when playing ball. Annie would love a home where her owner(s) can be be with her much of the time and someone can meet her energy needs If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below. Story
Olive is a beautiful ticked American English Coonhound from a full shelter in southwest Virginia. She's engaging and lively and loves to meet new people and dogs. She's about a year old and still needs to learn some manners when greeting people and other dogs, but she's at a great age to settle down and receive some training. She did well when introduced to the cat at the boarding kennel - she was curious but not aggressive. Because of her energy level, she would be well-matched with older kids and younger playful dogs. Olive will arrive in Massachusetts June 20th. If you'd like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below.
