Please contact Suzanne (ztasuzanne@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Sweet Little Sprout AKA Sproutie is up for adoption. Sprout is a 26 lb. female Brittany/Beagle Mix. She is housetrained, crate trained, up to date on all her vaccines, spayed and on heartworm preventative. Sprout has a special physical characteristic that makes her extra adorable! Because of a past broken tail, Sprout has a hook at the end of her cute little tail. NBRAN was contacted by a kind lady who had found Sprout dumped at a local dog park. Sprout was one lucky little girl because the kind lady that found her, although she could not keep her indefinitely, did take extra special care of her and took her to a veterinarian to be checked out and vaccinated.  Unfortunately, Sproutie tested positive for heartworms. Precious Sprout has now completed her heartworm treatments and is ready to find her furever home. She walks well on a leash and gets along with other dogs. She would not do well in a home with a cat. The adoption fee for Spout, being fostered in Memphis, TN, is $325, which helps to offset vet bills and allows NBRAN to rescue more sweet furbabies like Sprout. Introducing Sadie!  Sadie is a cuddle bug that is 9 years old.  She's a beautiful liver and white female brittany, weighing about 37 pounds. Sadie loves the freedom to run without a leash and run the fence perimeter.  She would love to chase rabbits and squirrels.  She walks fairly well on a lead or harness, but is still a big puller.   A physical fenced yard is a must for her, as she needs space to run.   She is very loyal and watches over her person.  She loves chew toys.  She is ok with other dogs as long as they don’t rush to her face.  Sadie would do best as an only dog Sadie is housebroken and low maintenance. She prefers to stay home, with a comfy dog bed. She likes to be petted and have space to run off her energy.  Sadie is heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped.  She doesn't mind getting bathed or towel dried. If  you are looking for a great family pet that likes to travel in the car, golf cart  or patrol the perimeter of the fenced yard / property she is your girl.  She will keep the bunnies and squirrels from eating your flowers and shrubs on your fenced property.  She will need a four-to-five-foot fence.  Sadie loves being outside with her people but enjoys the comfort of dog beds and bed pillows to grab a nap in between bird watching out the window and running outside. Please consider opening your heart and home to Sadie! He's a 3 years old lovely pure breed Lab. I love him so much, however, I cannot spend enough time with him due to my new job. I'll re-home him only if I feel that he will be loved in his new home. He's an energetic dog outside and calm at home. He's good with kids (I have toddlers) and with other animals (I also have a cat). He's very friendly to people.

Meet Maggie! This 2-year old house panther came to us from our friends at a local animal shelter after being found as a stray. We’re shaking our heads as to how this playful and snuggly midnight princess didn’t have a home. Maggie can be a little shy at first, but is a friendly and active youngster who loves all dog toys, but reallllly loves squeaky toys (though she destroys them with gusto!). This shady lady, with the BEST espresso coat, wags and wiggles when she meets new people, but isn’t a fan of loud city noises. One of her favorite pastimes is snuggling on the couch, or in bed…she just wants to be close to her human all the time and basically sits on top of her foster mom at any opportunity.   Maggie loves the water and will submerge her whole body into it (but hasn’t actually swam). She’s great in the car and either looks out the window or lays down in the backseat. She’s a loving and velvety raven pooch who just needs a home to call her own! Maggie is basically a big puppy and is working on some basic manners like jumping and counter surfer. But is making strides in a short time and would just need a forever family who will continue to work on the basics. She is currently in a foster home in Boston and we have discovered the city has stressed her out, so she’s looking for a quiet place to settle. And while she did great on her dog tests, she has gotten a bit more stressed out by some dogs in the city. Whether that’s due to the stress of city living or is just who she is remains to be seen. Because of this, were looking to place her as an only dog, but she has so much love to give, she’s all you need! Due to her size and a lack of history, older kids would be best for this smoky gal. Introducing Billy! This blockheaded bully boy came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after his owner was no longer able to care for him. Incredible foster mom Claudia jumped right into to get this guy out of the shelter because, boy, was he struggling in the kennel environment. Billy is now settling in and enjoying the good life in foster. He is proving to be quite an easy keeper- a good walk a day and endless snuggles and he’s a happy boy! He’s a silly little soul as well standing up to peer in every single parked car to see if there’s a friend hiding inside   Billy has recently learned that he’s a huge fan of snowstorms, hopping around the backyard like a bunny rabbit through the freshly fallen snow. Because of his bowling ball physique and lack of personal space, Billy says no thank you to small humans.
