Story
This is a Courtesy Post-Please Conact Laurie frankg4@optonline.net if you have a furever home for Daisy. When Daisy looks at you with her big brown eyes, it is hard to say "no" to her! She is a happy dog with people but something of a bossypants with other dogs, so Daisy would do better as an only dog. She is about 10 years old and still spry and healthy; she loves to go outside and walks well on the leash. She is house-trained and knows "sit", "lie down", and "come" commands. Daisy is a city girl who came from Brooklyn, where her owner couldn't take care of her due to illness. She weighs 60 lbs. and is no longer interested in toys or chewing. Usually quiet at home, she will bark to alert her family to the presence of others, but enjoys meeting people. She loves our neighbor's kids and they love her. They are older elementary and middle school age….I haven't had a chance to see how she is with younger children. Daisy wants to be the only dog in her home, she likes seeing other dogs outdoors. At her foster home she has gotten used to living with a cat.She also just stares at us if she wants something. She has such cute eyes! If you want a dog to snuggle with on the couch, or to just hang out while she sleeps on her dog bed, Daisy is the dog for you. Daisy is up-to-date on all her shots, we believe she is spayed, and has just had her teeth cleaned. Please contact Laurie at frankg4@optonline.net for more information about Daisy.

Story
Romeo is also still waiting for his happily-ever-after, and if dogs could make wish lists, his would probably be simple: a soft bed, a family to love, and someone to finally tell him, “You’re home.” While other dogs have come and gone, Romeo continues to greet each day with quiet kindness and a hopeful wag of his tail. He may be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he becomes the kind of loyal companion who never wants to leave your side. Romeo and his brother Ranger grew up around kids, dogs, and cats and have only ever known love from the family who raised them. Sadly, their owners could no longer afford to care for them or get them properly vetted, but despite all the changes in their lives, these boys have remained incredibly sweet and gentle. They’re lower-energy dogs who enjoy lounging around just as much as a romp in the yard. They’ve kenneled with dogs of all sizes without issue and are often used as “temperament test” dogs because they stay calm and non-reactive. Romeo is leash-trained, great in the car, neutered, fully vaccinated, about 2 years old, lab mix and he is ready for a home of his own. Romeo and Ranger have also gone on outings with volunteers and have done wonderfully meeting new people and other dogs. The shelter truly believes that once they’re in loving homes, their sweet personalities will blossom even more. All Romeo needs now is someone willing to give a longtime shelter dog the chance he’s been patiently waiting for. 🐾. Romeo or Ranger can be fostered or adopted to separate homes. If you have a foster or furever home for this pet, please e-mail Furever Home Dog Rescue at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com and request an adoption application. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to FHDR. Please read our homepage www.fhdr.petfinder.com to read how the adoption process works. And, please visit Furever Home Dog Rescue's homepage www.FureverHomeDogRescue.com to see some of our many reviews. Thank you!

Story
Toby is a 6 year old miniature goldendoodle who we have had since he was a puppy. He has a big, goofy, sassy personality, he loves to explore and run around and solve puzzles. He's a great snuggler and loves to roll on his back for belly rubs and eat ice. We have discovered he sadly does not do well with young kids and has bitten both of mine (ages 2 and 4). He also doesn't do well with other animals/pets and needs to be the only pet in the home. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained. He has been to obedience school a few times, and knows all the basic commands but can be stubborn without evidence of a treat. He would do best with an experienced dog owner who is willing to dedicate time to continuing training practice with him (even at home). He would also love a fenced yard. Since we plan to continue expanding our family, we have made the difficult decision that it is in Toby's and our kids' best interest to find him a loving, quieter home to live out the rest of his years.

CALLING ALL DOG LOVERS, OPEN YOUR HEART AND HOME! You can help us save lives by becoming a doggie foster family! Every puppy that can be placed in a temporary foster home SAVES 2 LIVES! Their life is saved from overpopulated shelter, and makes room for one more in the shelter! Furever Home Dog Rescue is dedicated to saving adoptable dogs from overcrowded shelters. We’re always looking for compassionate families across New Jersey and Florida to join our incredible team of foster homes. By opening your heart and home to a foster dog, you’re giving them a safe place to stay until we find them a permanent, loving home—usually within month or two. We rescue puppies, adults, and senior dogs of all breeds and sizes. Please consider becoming a foster and giving these deserving dogs a second chance at life. With your help, we can save innocent lives that might otherwise be lost simply due to lack of space in shelters. Please go to FureverHomeDogRescue.com to complete a foster application. We will review your application and give you a call to answer all your questions. You can also email us at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Story
Ranger is the kind of dog who blooms gently — like sunlight after a cloudy morning. He can be a little shy at first, but give him a few kind words and a scratch behind the ears, and suddenly you’ve got a loyal shadow with a heart the size of Mississippi. Ranger and his brother Romeo grew up around kids, dogs, and cats and have only ever known love from the family they were raised with. Sadly, their owners could no longer afford to care for them or get them properly vetted, but despite all the changes in their lives, these boys have remained incredibly sweet and gentle. The shelter says….once they’re in loving homes, their sweet personalities will blossom even more. All they’re missing now is someone to choose them. 🐾. Story
Meet Milo! 🐶 Milo is a 10-month-old, around 50-pound pup who’s ready to find his forever family. Milo loves running around the yard playing fetch or chasing any ball he can find! He enjoys walks, and being part of whatever his people are doing, especially curling up on the couch at the end of the day! He’ll happily nap or play with his toys while his foster mom works during the day. He’s fully house broken and will let you know when he needs to go out. He also sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep and isn’t the least bit destructive. We recommend that Milo go to a home with older kids or no kids, as he can get excited when playing and likes to greet people by jumping up at them - something we’ve been working on! Milo will also need to meet his future family, as he can be selective about some people and dogs he meets.
