Story
Hi! This 2yo boy has had a rough start in life but has grown so much since finding me! I acquired him through a friend that did her best to care for him but it just wasn't the right time or fit. I am a dog trainer and so I decided to take Tyson in as my own and train him so that he would have a better shot at finding a forever home. Who wouldn't want to adopt an already trained dog?! He has all the basics and is off- leash reliable as he is e-collar trained. Tyson would do best with an experienced adopter who ideally knows and understands his breed. He will do best in a home that will continue using what he has learned in training and give him a solid routine that he will thrive on. He will definitely need time to decompress and feel safe in his new environment, but once he does, he will show you what a love he is! He has a ton of energy so an active home with an interested in playtime and brainwork is best. And I promise you, it is so fun to watch him solve puzzles!

Story
My uncle passed away on St Patricks day 2022. I took his dog Cisco to care for until I could find him a permanent home. He's a great dog but has never really fit in with my other dogs. He was used to being the only pet in a quiet household. That is not the case here. He in my opinion would thrive being the only pet. He is great on the leach, never pulls. Hes affectionate and hes in great health. If he was my only dog i would keep him but i feel im doing him a disservice by keeping him.

Story
I adopted Olive in 2019, in Denver, when I was in college. She was a year and a half old at the time. She is a beautiful 5-year-old Great Pyrenees / Border Collie mix. She is house-trained and has never ruined anything in our home. Olive is a lover. She is incredibly loyal and protective and will make an excellent companion to someone with a quiet, stable lifestyle and a fenced yard. Her favorite activities are running in the yard and cuddling on the couch. I am making the difficult decision to rehome Olive because I recently moved to New York City, where I started a graduate program. I cannot keep her in my apartment, and I know she will thrive in a quiet and calm environment. Olive had been abused and neglected as a puppy and naturally grew up with fear and anxiety. She is a sweetheart but needs an experienced dog owner who can give her the attention and life she deserves. References required.

Story
Gracie has been with our rescue for 2 years. Gracie is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Gracie was saved from a fast kill, small-town dog pound. She is a Blue Lacy Mix, 3-1/2 years old, and weighs 40 pounds. She has the distinctive Blue Lacy bark. We discovered that she had already been spayed and had a microchip (the pound did not scan her). The contact for her microchip had "rehomed" her, and that person never updated the chip. Her original owner says that she had to rehome Gracie because she was growling at the kids. We think this was probably because she was guarding a treat. At first, she grumbled at her foster mom, but it was a bluff and she has never done anything more than grumble. Now that she is comfortable and knows that food and treats are plentiful, she no longer cares if we move her food bowl or pick up a treat. Gracie still guards her food and treats from other dogs, so we feed and give her treats in a separate room from the other dogs. Gracie is fully housetrained, crate trained, and knows how to sit. She barks when she wants to go out. Gracie knows how to walk on a leash, but does pull if she is excited. Gracie is fairly low-energy and is a couch potato that loves to be in the house. Gracie likes to run and explore, ride in the car, and go for walks. She also likes to be outside to sun herself, bark at squirrels, digs a little, and take the occasional dip in the wading pool. Gracie loves scratches and pets. She gives kisses and loves butt scratches. We've seen her play by throwing her chew bone in the air and chasing it. Gracie will play with other dogs, and she does best with male dogs. She does well with some females and doesn't like others. She may be initially aggressive with a new dog then is okay with them after a few days. Gracie is now a bit on the chunky side since she spends most of the day in a room separate from dogs that she doesn't get along with. She would love a home where she gets lots of walks to help her regain her girlish figure. Gracie would do best as an only dog or paired with a male since she gets along best and likes to play with male dogs. Again, Gracie does guard her food and treats from other dogs, so she must always be separate from other dogs when she gets food and treats. Gracie would be a fabulous companion for a single person or a couple with older children. Gracie must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and have a securely fenced yard to run and play. Gracie is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receiving monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Gracies adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY. She is being fostered in Texas and we do not have the resources to send her north until after she is adopted. Story
Turk is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate to a good, loving, forever home. Turk and his siblings were born under our care. Their mother Pearl was surrendered by her owner, who allowed Pearl to get pregnant, waited too long before she tried to get her fixed, and then wanted to get rid of her before she had the puppies. Pearl is a terrier mix and the father(s) are unknown, Pearl's DNA test came back as a mixture of 14 different breeds, with only 20% American Staffordshire Terrier. Turk has been in our rescue since he was born. He is now over a year old and he and his brother Moby are still waiting for their forever homes. Turk was one of the larger pups in the litter and he now weighs around 60 pounds. Turk is a very good boy. He is sweet and gentle, loves to snuggle, and gives kisses. He likes toys, treats, the wading pool, and playing chase with other dogs. He is crate trained and will go in his crate when told to do so. He appears to be fully house trained, although he will still use the puppy pads if he cannot get out when he needs to. Turk minds fairly well but could use additional obedience training. Turk must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Turk has been in rescue for way too long, so he is very timid of strangers, and needs lots of additional socialization. We are hoping that some kind and gentle person will adopt Turk and give him the loving home he so deserves. Turk is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Turk has a $500.00 adoption fee including ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY. He is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after he is adopted. He was one of the larger pups in the litter and we think he might be around 60 pounds when grown. Moby is a very sweet and gentle boy. He likes toys, treats, and playing with his siblings. Moby needs more training and additional socialization is very important as that gets scared on occasion. Moby must be in the house as a loved member of the family.
